I was in this hotel for the first time 2 years ago, in mid-November, so I went there again at the same time.

What can I say? The hotel itself has remained the same. The former best hotel in Hurghada! )))

Pros: everything! Read the review separately.
Disadvantages: there are a lot of Russian-Ukrainian tourists.

One by one...We were three of us, me, my wife and son, who turned exactly one year before the trip. A few days later I emailed that we would be visiting them for the second time, please book a room on the top floor with a double bed and a crib for my child. I received an email that everything was ready. I must say right away that it happened, we arrived at the hotel at 10 am (standard check-in to the room after 2 pm) and after 3 minutes at the reception we were already taking the elevator to our room.

Upon arrival, we entered the airport building.

The first thing that caught my eye was almost a thousand tourists from 2 flights (from Moscow and Kyiv), standing in long lines for visas. However, right in front of us stood a modern-looking Arab and held a sign with my name in English (everything in this hotel is in English). We approached him and in tolerable English found out that he was meeting us. First of all, he asked us for 45 dollars for visas and moved to the window with "visa sellers", said something in Arabic and after 10 seconds he was holding 3 visas in his hands. After another 1 minute, he handed us the freshly filled entry cards and dragged us to passport control out of turn. As a result, 5 minutes after entering the airport, we passed all the checkpoints and went to get our luggage! ! ! And they could have lost an hour without it. But his help didn't end there. Our stroller was in our luggage. We found our suitcases, but there was no stroller.
Malik (that was his name) rushed to the tape and looked behind the rubber curtains, began to shout to the loaders, and after 3 minutes strollers of tourists fell out of the window! ))) Having received all our good, Malik took us to ....a bus with the inscription of the name of the hotel. It turns out that they sent a whole bus for us! Another 5 minutes drive, and we entered the territory of our beloved hotel.

By the way, a free transfer from the airport to the hotel and back upon departure is not the only privilege of a repeated stay at the hotel. We had a free minibar, free wi-fi internet (speed is disgusting! ), usually costing 50 pounds per hour (about $ 8), and, most importantly, free access to the spa!

What did we do at the hotel? Oh-oh-oh...Not even a day is enough for me. But all those pessimists who dissuaded us from going on vacation with a one-year-old child were put to shame with wild shame! Lord! ! ! ! Take your children with you!
In this hotel, everything is organized for them!

Now I will not describe all 2 weeks of my stay at the hotel, but I will describe the main points.

1. FOOD. I am amazed at the stupidity and dishonesty of our tourists who write that the food in the hotel is bad! I heard many tourists from dozens of countries (fortunately, English is in order) that they did not eat such food as in this hotel even in their own countries! This is the best food in the world! ))) They say that the kitchen is monotonous? So: for breakfast for adults there are pancakes, and several types of cereals, milk pasta, sausages, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, omelettes, 6 types of cottage cheese masses and yogurts (they cook it themselves !! ), meat dishes, salads, sliced fruits , freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices, just mango, goava, pineapple and apple juices. A separate stand with pastries (about 10 types for breakfast) and bread (about 15 types of bread), separately cold cuts (6-10 types). I'm afraid I haven't added much yet, but it's clear!
For lunch, we alternated between the main restaurant and the beach one. There is an abundance of food here, just like for breakfast. 2-3 more types of soup are added, a lot of meat dishes, side dishes, and a separate stand with the main pastries (6-10 types of cakes)
Dinner is a separate song. There are always 15-20 types of salads here, but there is also an Arab behind the counter, he has 10-12 different salad ingredients cut and he mixes any combinations in front of you. To those who say they don't like local salads, I retort with a laugh: choose any ingredients and eat any salad! Even tomatoes and cucumbers. if you don't like sophisticated Austrian delights (the chef is an Austrian German). As a rule, grilled meat is prepared for dinner, it is either chicken or turkey, often veal, even lamb. Lots of fish (at least 3 dishes are always available). Every evening in the main restaurant thematic cuisines: German, Egyptian, Italian, American, seafood, Asian and Mediterranean.
This means that in addition to all the abundance I have described, 3-4 dishes typical of a particular cuisine are also added: shrimp, hamburgers, pizzas, pastas, rolls and much more
I will single out BABY FOOD separately. My wife regretted taking so much baby food with her. For breakfast there are several types of milk porridge, for lunch she took soups, for dinner she gathered a mixture of boiled and steamed vegetables (carrots, zucchini, cabbage, beans or peas, etc. ) and meat, added hot water, I carried it to the cooks at the racks with open cooking and asked to grind everything with a blender. As a result, after 5 minutes, my child devoured this porridge-like puree of the color of a child's surprise with appetite! ))) For all the time he did not have any disorders, except for what happened after we went to the water park in Sinbad and had lunch there.

2. SERVICE. The service of this hotel is legendary!

I have never seen such a well-trained staff anywhere in Egypt! The staff has about 350 employees (this is for 500 rooms), all are polite, unobtrusive, but always ready to help. The main thing that infuriated our tourists about them was their almost complete ignorance of the Russian language! In the understanding of Russians and Ukrainians, Egyptians in hotels should know, in addition to Arabic, Russian, English, German (the hotel is German), French and Italian, moreover, at the level of understanding such phrases as "Boy, drive, bring me half a liter of beer, you understand, string Black hare? " Somehow I can’t imagine that in Sochi or even in Moscow all the hotel staff knew so many languages (to hell with it, at least English only !! ) any decent hotel in the future. On the beach, too, waiters are constantly scurrying around and offer any set of drinks, including alcoholic ones.
The rooms are cleaned cleanly and quickly, all 6 types of towels are changed (to do this, you need to throw a dirty towel on the floor, as written in the memo for the tourist upon arrival, but which, apparently, only a few read! ). I always left 5 pounds (almost 1 dollar). Another 5 pounds I gave to the waiters at dinner. I didn't give anything to anyone else. I will also say that the hotel has 3 girls (of course, Germans) who will always help solve any problem. By the way, one of them is Russian, from Chelyabinsk! Huge staff of gardeners, cleaners, drivers.

3. NUMBER. All rooms are excellent, we stayed in the standard deluxe. Entrance hall, contata about 40 sq. meters and a toilet-bathroom 10 sq. meters. The bathroom has a shower in addition to the bathtub. Do not believe the frustrated tourists that the door to the toilet is transparent, it is made of frosted glass and nothing is visible (by the way, I have the same doors in the toilet and bathroom at home).
The bed is large, 2 meters wide, there are also cabinets with a large flat-screen TV, a minibar with a refrigerator, a table with tea and coffee accessories, a coffee table and a comfortable couch next to it. Huge glazing overlooking the sea and a vast territory, behind which opens a spacious balcony of 6 meters with a table and 2 chairs. It is very pleasant in the evening to take green tea in a bathrobe, sit on a chair, open a laptop and look through information sites, sometimes looking at the magnificent illumination of a night hotel! The floors in the room are marble, they shine with their cleanliness, that I didn’t even worry about my son, who calmly crawled on it and played with toys. We were given a comfortable baby cot. There is also a free safe in the room, a TV with 38 channels (3 Russians: RTR-planet, 1 channel and music-box Russia), a hairdryer, shampoos and shower gels, a kettle, dishes ...Everything for convenience.

4. HOTEL TERRITORY. It is 16.000 sq.

meters of magnificent pools, paved paths, ideal lawns, colored front gardens, golf courses, a lazy river, playgrounds for children, volleyball, football, buchu, samba dances and a huge magnificent beach. If in doubt, go to Google maps like me and look at the territory of the satellite layer hotel. Ukrainian tourists constantly strove (and not unsuccessfully) to penetrate us, but they were quickly and culturally asked to leave our sunbeds or a lazy river, sending them to their territory. The Steigenberger al Dau Club 4 * hotel is located on the second coastline, but they were given part of the territory of our hotel for their own beach, volleyball court and dining room, where they were taken from the hotel by electric cars. I must say that the club members sometimes behaved arrogantly and impudently.

5. ANIMATION. Here I will skip and shame the most important skeptics of the hotel, those who have so often claimed that there is almost no animation in the hotel.
This can be said by tourists who are used to relaxing in cheap hotels where there is a Russian disco (especially foam! ). I list all types of animation: kids club, children's disco (every evening from 8 to 9 pm), free bike rental, table tennis, air hockey, tennis (located on the territory of the hotel club 4 *), volleyball, beach football, gym, golf ( there was even some kind of free training program, but I'm cold to golf), water sports (catamarans, etc. ), water aerobics, daily Brazilian samba and other dances (I'm also cold to them), bucha, billiards (2 tables American women and 1 snooker table - for a fee! ), every evening from 6 to 10 o'clock in the hotel lobby a solid black man in glasses and a stylish suit plays the piano superbly, every evening in the club (where there is a children's disco) at 9 pm there is a show (singers, belly dancing, fire show, snake show, etc.

A decent bar near the beach, lunch from 12 to 16, but drinks are delivered directly to the beach from 9 am. You just have to wave your hand to a passing waiter. There are also girls on the beach who wipe their glasses! Also on the beach there is a massage tent (super!!!!!!! ). There is also a water station. where you can take a catamaran, a kayak for free for 30 minutes, and also learn how to ride a sailboard for a reasonable amount (something like 20 euros for half a day). I honestly just didn’t recognize it, but there was banana riding, and water skiing, and parasailing, and flying on a parasail attached to a motorboat. And there is also a water pier, which always has 2 yachts: the water center has its own equipment for diving and snorkeling. I didn't use anything either. And on the beach there is an evening restaurant a la carte Alexanders, I think with the best service in Egypt! You have to book in advance, 2 times a week. There is a free menu, there is also a paid one.

7. SPA CENTER.
For some reason, no one writes about it in the reviews. Perhaps they simply did not use it or did not taste it all for a couple of times. The spa is not in vain considered perhaps the best in Egypt. 1000 sq. meters of paradise! When my wife and I visited for the first time, we did not even regret the 20 euros that we paid daily (! ) for entering it. The second visit is free! A large heated pool with several types of hydromassages, two saunas, two fonts for them (a bucket of water), a huge Turkish bath in the center of the SPA center with a separate bath and a smaller steam room, a room with water jets of sea water (such as a Charcot shower), but most importantly, thalasso compata, where you can relax in silence in an ideal setting, sipping herbal tea, listening to awesomely pleasant music, in subdued light with burning aromatic candles and smoking Chinese sticks.
Of course, the Arabs are silently staring, but the Europeans are simply shocked! If there are utensils for the dish, do not grab the dish with your hands. And remember, you can approach the dish any number of times, so it’s not necessary to collect a serving of 15-20 people for yourself! All foreigners puzzle over how tourists come from hungry Russia/Ukraine to such an expensive hotel. Another request, do not occupy sunbeds in the evening, this is prohibited by the rules, and if your things were taken to the beach towel point, just ask them back, and do not attack the astonished Arabs with the words: how dare they take my things? In general, gentlemen, let's behave decently in decent hotels, this applies to you and your children. And then there will be no shame for the state. I confess, often walking outside the Sheroton or near the hotel, I pretended to be a foreigner and answered I don't understand you, sorry. in response to the phrase "Hey, come in, vodka, bacon, moonshine, take it for free, a freebie for you" and so on and so forth ....

We ourselves are to blame for the fact that they treat us this way, we ourselves deserve such a label. They hate us even less than the Germans with their stiffness and greed, but they hate us, but they could sincerely love them.
