This vacation was unforgettable! In Egypt 2 of us for the first time.

ROOM:
We (3 people) arrived at the STEIGENBERGER AL DAU CLUB hotel on February 21 at about 10:00. We were immediately placed in vacant rooms. After reading reviews about other hotels, we were ready for the fact that we would have to pay extra $10 per room at the reception, as long as it did not go to the construction site (as it happened in principle). Every day we left $ 1 per bed in the morning, going out for breakfast, for room service - as a result, every day after breakfast we contemplated different bizarre figures from towels. The room was cleaned every day: towels and sheets were changed! (we specifically checked whether they were re-laying the same one). One more thing, I recommend choosing rooms at least 4 or 3 floors (that is, the higher the better; moreover, there is an elevator)

We were settled in a 4-storey building, which is called Verdi (the only difference from the 5-storey Aida is that there are no balconies in Verdi + the rooms are a little cheaper there and they mostly accommodate not Ukrainians and Russians, but Germans, Austrians, Balts , Arabs and Swedes).

KITCHEN:
Very satisfied: there are always several types of salads (different every day), freshly cut vegetables (tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, melons), greens; several types of sauces (both sweet and with spices - they tried it by dropping it on the back of the hand). Side dishes: potatoes (in uniforms, french fries, mashed potatoes), pasta (a couple of types), rice (a couple of types). For lunch and breakfast, you could order hard-boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. There were also charlottes and puddings. The table was full of sweets. Remarkably, the dough was either puff or a biscuit with a bunch of different creams, additives and fruits.
Every evening for dinner, several dishes of the cuisine of one of the countries whose flags are waving in front of the registration desk were offered, in total we counted 6 countries. An important fact: beach clothes are not allowed in the restaurant for dinner, so take something more impressive than sweatpants and T-shirts with you in your suitcase.

SEA:
Since the hotel is located on the 2nd line, it takes 8-10 minutes to walk to the beach (if not in a hurry). The path to the sea itself lies through the territory of "5" Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel. There are a lot of places to walk around. The sea itself is clean, there is a specially designated area for swimming, which is cleared of living corals and all kinds of sea stars and urchins, but it is better to be vigilant and watch where to get up!

SERVICE:
Everyone smiles sweetly, when they come up, they say hello. Very often the phrases “friend”, “how are you?
»As for the harassment by the servants: there was one blonde among us - and so she alone took the rap for all of us; True, if the harassment began to be intrusive, it was enough to threaten with the police (as a last resort, contact the registry, but it didn’t come to that) and everything would be OK. There is a separate playground for children - so you can attach them as well.

ANIMATION:

Well done guys - they tried with might and main! Different types of activities were constantly offered - if only the vacationers did not sleep: bocha, yoga, beach volleyball, darts, aqua aerobics, belly dancing. And every evening after 21:30, the guys arranged different evening shows - each separately for a different day of the week (before that, at 20:30 there was a disco for the little ones). Once a week, Mr. and Mrs. Steigenberger - that's fun!

CITY:
In the city itself, or rather in its center, they all went to the disco once. Taxis are cheap as hell, only 10 pounds (rate: $1 = 5.
6 pounds) - only now you need to immediately sharply set the price with an edge when you negotiate with a taxi driver. There were also some people who went to the center for 30 pounds! There are paid and free discos (only until 24:00 entrance) We were only in one Aqua Fun - music unobtrusive remixes of songs of the 80-90s. There are a lot of shops, but before you buy something, it is better to walk on both sides of the hotel through these boutiques - different prices are different for the same goods! You can change money at a favorable rate at the nearby Intercontinental Hotel (this is opposite), it is open from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00 every day.

WEATHER:
Since February is characterized by winds, we just fell into such a period, although the wind died down for 3 days. And we were also lucky to get under short-term rain (which is very rare in these parts in general), as well as under a sandstorm, about half an hour. The temperature fluctuated from +23 to +29 during the day, and from +9 to +12 in the evening. The water temperature in the sea is about +18+20.
If we go to Hurghada for the second time (provided that it is not at "5"), then we will choose STEIGENBERGER AL DAU CLUB!! !
