I must say right away that I go to Egypt 2-3 times a year, to hotels of different categories. The hotel has a good location, on the old Sheraton, in close proximity to the center of the new Hurghada. A small beach, 29 my steps wide, which did not have enough sunbeds on days when, apparently, all the tourists were in the hotel, and not on excursions. There is a pier on the beach, where two boats dangle, which load up to ten divers and then begin a dangerous turn to go out to sea. And people are swimming around! Garbage constantly floats on the beach, which is raked out by vacationers.
Due to the constantly arriving garbage, the water was all in suspension. I didn't want to go there from time to time. Then why go to the Red Sea? But the fish swim, maybe not as diverse as in other places, but there are: surgeons, rhinoceros, parrots and small beggars. There is a self-made library on the beach where people leave what they read for other races. I read it and left it, it's very convenient.
The hotel itself makes a pleasant first impression, but then details begin that spoil the whole holiday. For $ 10 they gave a two-room suite in which the air conditioner did not work. I changed it, explaining that I needed a good conditioner. We moved, the air conditioner roared like an airplane turbine. In general, the old building (reception) has motors from air conditioners hanging outside the window. In the heat, the motors hum so that it seems that the building is about to take off. Moved to a new building. The room is standard. With a large terrace. But the linen in the bed is blacker than black, Towels are the same. And it's impossible to fight it. The cleaner either flips the sheet to the other side, or gives the same "clean" one. The towels on the beach are also dirty.

I always buy my cup and towel in Egypt. But it's strange to buy bed linen.
Caught the cleaner lying on my bed watching an Arabic channel even though there was a red sign on the door. It turned out that my TV shows better than in other rooms. Get stunned! At the reception, I was assured that he would not enter me again without my permission. At the reception, by the way, Hani understands Russian, but the second one understands (I forgot her name), but pretends not to. Learn English, he says.
My air conditioner died after 5 days. A boy from the engineering service came, held his hand at the guard for a long time, apparently meditating. Then he said that he would climb onto the roof and do everything. I did it, the condo lasted about 20 hours. Again the boy came, meditated for a long time, climbed onto the roof, but with me. Together they found the motor from my number. It turned out there was no freon in it. Here I controlled the filling of freon. 5 people were engaged in this. It seems that they did everything, I went to dinner, I come to the room, and there the whole team at my kondeya pulls their hands, checks. Well, then I barked, they jumped out.
Restaurant? Clean dishes, but no food! What is declared as a buffet can be put on one plate, like a set lunch. hotel.
There is no animation, alcohol too. It turns out that the owner of the hotel is very religious and considers entertainment unnecessary! It is not clear how he got into the hotel business! The man confused faith and deed.
The safe at the reception is an open safe located below the counter. Each is given an envelope, which is sealed with tape. But the elders say that there were cases of theft from envelopes. I don't know, I didn't have it. By the way, the safe is never closed, and sometimes no one is there. There are a few more personal safe lockers, but they are always occupied.

In general, the hotel has a great location, you can go out to eat and drink, and buy everything, while silence, there is no music in neighboring hotels. Of course, I do not recommend this hotel to those who travel for the first time, so as not to get a negative impression of Egypt, but for those who are already used to it, then nothing, especially if you buy a ticket cheaply.
