The hotel guide from Aneks was an impudent boor, when they refused to take excursions, they said that we would think about it, began to persuade / force him to go on an excursion with him, at least somewhere! forced us to sign a written refusal, threw documents, etc. ...he frightened us that we couldn’t go anywhere on our own, we couldn’t go to the city, if you want to go to the city, take a survey from the annex, otherwise they’ll bring / rob ...all nonsense! the girls went, so the taxi driver (they took it from the highway, not from the hotel, as the guide "advised") showed all the sights, took him around the city, showed fruit stalls and told us what for, so that we would not be deceived.
