We just returned from this hotel yesterday.
Pros: amazingly clear turquoise sea, lagoon and the opportunity to swim for every taste. The hotel is almost on the sea, clean air, no smog from cars, which is a sin for hotels in the city center. We were settled immediately in the morning, as we arrived, in a room overlooking the lagoon, but the buildings are located in the shape of a horseshoe and the room was on the shady side. A cyclone just hit, after all, it was January, and it was very windy and cold. Frozen in the room, slept with the air conditioning on for heating. In the morning we turned to Alina (guest relation) and she helped us check into a room on the sunny side with a beautiful view of the sea and palm trees at no extra charge. All questions that you have are best solved with the girls from the "guest relation". They are very smart and really help to solve any issues, which we finally became convinced of when two days later I fell ill, had a high temperature, and had to apply for insurance to the hospital. It's a completely different song! Could not get through to the guide, he did not pick up the phone. Calling is allowed only for money, they tried it through viber - it's useless, I caught the Internet in the lobby so badly. Honestly, if someone has a heart attack, then during this time you can go to another world. Until Alina and Lara joined the question, nothing happened. Alina called the hospital and after 15 minutes a car came for me. A wonderful girl Natasha works in the hospital, helping tourists in any way she can. In two days, they put me on my feet and organized a second examination with a doctor. In general, many thanks to all our girls. They brightened up our stay in Egypt!!!
I must say that all the hotel staff are very friendly and do their best to make you feel comfortable. The room was cleaned well and without money, everything was changed on time, the bedding was white and clean, the furniture in the room was “aged”, but not shabby, as some write. Everything worked: safe, plumbing, TV and round the clock hot water in the tap without any interruptions. Magnificent sea view from the window. Music on the nearby beach played from 11 to 14.00, so it was not annoying. Nice gym with everything you need. Wonderful camel Maxim, where you can ride for ten bucks and make a funny photo session))

Food: could be better, but we were not hungry. You can always choose something to your taste. The restaurant is more like a canteen. Dishes are clean. In the early days there were not many people and it was possible to have a meal in peace. In the last three days, a lot of locals have arrived and rushed... Pandemonium in the dining room, queues for food, plates and such noise and din that you can't hear yourself. Children yell, rush about, finding a free table is a problem. The waiters are friendly, clean the dishes on time, serve tables. It was also annoying when something was cooked right in the hall and the “aromas” soaked even the clothes.
Of the minuses: intrusive sellers of massage services, excursions who do not understand the word "no". And the main disadvantage is that due to the location of the buildings, which are interconnected like trailers, there is a constant draft there. The rooms have wooden doors with huge gaps, so the wind blows in the rooms and if someone smokes, then all the smoke in a second is in your room. Although there is a “no smoking” sign on every door, the locals disregard these prohibitions and brazenly smoke right in the hallway under your doors. Almost every night I woke up from a strong smell of smoke. I was also very unpleasantly struck by the complete lack of elementary respect for tourists on the part of local Arabs. They behave as if they are alone in the world, they come at three or four in the morning and yell at the whole corridor, knock on the door, go berserk. It was impossible to sleep, I had to call the reception at night and ask them to pacify. I haven't seen such a mess in a long time. Because of this alone, there is no desire to come to this hotel anymore. The administration needs to settle the Arabs in separate buildings and not mix them with the Europeans so that the latter can have a normal rest at night. It is useless to re-educate them, but it would be good to introduce fines for breaking simple rules. This is effective, otherwise they are trying to earn a penny on paid phone calls.
In any case, thanks to everyone who helped us with a word, deed or a smile! !
