I had a rest in Sunrise Holidays Resort at the beginning of October with my husband and daughter 5 years old. We rested in Hurghada is not the first time. I had two conditions: a 4-5 star hotel and definitely in the city! I wanted to go to Sea Gull, but we didn’t have time, he was on the foot. The travel agency suggested Sunrise Holidays - the price is the same, but also ultra. We got to the hotel at three in the morning in Moscow (they were supposed to check in, but it was of course the cant of the airline, by the way Ural Airlines), we were terribly tired.
Having received the keys, we are looking for a number. We got the first floor, in relation to the whole hotel it is somewhere in the basement, since the reception and access to the city (to the road) are at the level of the third floor. As we later realized, they settled us in SINGL (although two adults and a child), the room is small, we also brought a bed for the child and there was simply nowhere to go. The air conditioner blew constantly, the switch did not work and blew directly on the bed brought to the child. The closet doors didn't work, the tub was smaller than usual, wires were sticking out of the wall instead of a hair dryer. The window is about a meter by a meter, without a balcony and somewhere on cacti and stairs. Seeing all this charm and knowing a little English, I went to the reception. She asked, begged, offered money (she was ready for any), the answer was the same - all the numbers are busy, come tomorrow at two o'clock! We came at two - come back in two more... Approaching an hour later, we were still promised to solve everything and Hurray, a cool room on the fifth floor, overlooking the sea and the pool. Everything is fine, of course, but a day from the rest was stolen.
Well, about the hotel and service: I was pleased with the proximity to the sea, right on the beach! But, there is no square, there is nowhere to walk: the building itself, the beach, the pool, and that's all... If only in a labyrinth hotel. The hotel itself is on the outskirts of the city, not in the center as I was promised! Somewhere 500 meters from the outskirts. Service at the hotel, I think, as elsewhere - the Germans are held in high esteem. But in general, it's not bad. The food was excellent, I can’t complain about it, there is always meat, chicken, meatballs and seafood (except for breakfast, of course). The ultra included: juices from packages, 5 European drinks (only in the bar), ice cream at any time, well, that's all. Moreover, the system is as follows: there are no strong alcoholic drinks in restaurants (only beer and wine), stronger only in a bar (without snacks)! In restaurants, waiters serve (2 people for the entire hall). So you sit and wait for him for 20 minutes, when will he bring you beer.

The evening animation is cool, I've never seen anything like it anywhere. Convenient pool and bar area. First, a children's disco (about 50 minutes), then animation for adults, always different: belly dances, Egyptian dances, live music, a comedy show... By the way, in Russian too. Many thanks to Russian animators Maria and Sergey! Well done guys!!!
