General impression
The hotel does not pull on 5 * according to many criteria, I will describe the reasons below. However, staying there is not bad. The second time I would not come back here, but only because I want to believe that there is something better in Egypt for the same price. If the concept of "workhorse" is applicable to the hotel, then this one is just that.
Number

There are practically no complaints about the room, but it needs cosmetic repairs and a couple of simple, logical improvements. One of the sliding wardrobe doors does not move well, the front door once flew off the hinge fastening. However, it was fixed within 10 minutes. The furniture is old. The shower does not close physically, which is why some of the water falls on the floor. There are no soap dishes, so the soap has to be put either on the washbasin (not hygienic) or on the soap packaging (it gets wet). The toilet brush falls apart during use. There are no packages in the trash cans. The floor is too slippery. The clotheslines for drying clothes are in the bathroom - the place with the highest humidity, so the laundry dries longer than if it were hung on the balcony.
Nutrition
There are 3 restaurants here, 2 of which differ slightly and work almost all day with breaks of several hours. The third one works according to the a la carte system, you can dine 1 time for free more tasty than in the first two. Claims mainly to the quality of food. Firstly, all free drinks, with the exception, perhaps, of tea and beer, are, to put it mildly, so-so: coffee, wine, juice (really dumb concentrate). The same can be said for the free ice cream by the pool. Secondly, it feels like some food is served not for the first time. In principle, this is understandable, since there were few tourists and I don’t want to throw away food, but the consumer arrived at 5 * and he wants to see them. Thirdly, although the variety of food is rather big, finding something tasty is not so easy. It is clear that many tourists want to see a large selection of dishes, but personally I would prefer 3-5 quality ones to them. Too much muffin. There are no paper napkins in principle, you need to wipe yourself with a towel. I'm not used to this. Kind of pathetic and inefficient. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, etc. are fried in pans that are not the first freshness, they are black and ugly.
Service
The service is good, the attendants are courteous and unobtrusive, unlike some animators.
Hotel area

The territory is small. In this case, the first couple of days you will wander around the floors, because there are too many stairs and passages. But then you get used to it and it becomes very comfortable. For example, on the way to restaurants, you can easily bypass the shopping alley (yes, you will be pulled by sellers even in your own hotel). The hotel has its own small lagoon, separated from the sea by an island. For some, this is a minus, because it seems as if you are swimming not in the sea, but in a small puddle. For someone - a plus, since the sea in the lagoon is the same, but calmer and a little warmer, the beach is sandy with a gentle entrance. However, the indisputable fact remains that the supports under the island should have been cleaned long ago, because they are rusty and scary. The beach is passable, i. e. traders calmly walk along it and offer what you most likely do not need, or more expensive / more dangerous offers that you could look for on your own. Fortunately, the red flag partially saves, which can be issued along with a towel. Partly because it's small, making it hard to see.
Situation
Apparently, I was unlucky, because during my stay at the hotel there was a redecoration. Every day it was noisy from time to time (even in the room), it stank of paint, water was spilled on the floor of the floor, fine dust was flying in the air.
Contingent
Mostly foreigners rest here: British, Germans and Arabs. Because of this, it’s great to change the home environment, to get lost in the crowd. True, the average age of vacationers is somewhere over 30, with a lot of pensioners. So it's a little sad here.
Nature
Several palm trees on which sparrows nest.
Animation
I guess I just don't understand the whole topic. I do not like animation in principle, both for children and adults. Especially an adult. There were a few intrusive animators, but overall no complaints. I can't rate the quality.
