The hotel allegedly has all five stars. for what they were drawn, though it is not clear at all, even for Egypt
The hotel is very old. the furniture in the rooms is dead, often broken (we looked at three rooms upon check-in - all the same), the air conditioner worked only on / off - just spitting a cold. Decently made only family rooms on the upper floors. but I would be afraid to use elevators all the time - they close with difficulty, rarely the first time. The walls were shabby, there were problems with the light, and in 2 of the 3 "restaurants" the air conditioners did not work. Shabby walls and shovel-like doors are everywhere. It's nice to sit perhaps only in the lobby of the hotel - it's beautiful there.
The food is passable, but essentially boils down to meat/pasta/fried potatoes. The choice of dishes is minimal - but with the exception of breakfast, there is always edible meat. But with vegetables / fruits, everything is very bad - everything is half-rotten or green.

Animation is sluggish and monotonous - "Groundhog Day" is just simple. However, there is an evening show - one or two even liked it. Bars close early (23 at the pool, at 24 at the disco and lobby) - you really can’t sit in the evening. There is no foreign booze, even for money, even on ultra (what gives ultra in this hotel is generally a mystery).
The territory is very small, moreover, by midnight somewhere the lawns can easily fill with real shit (they fertilize them like that) and the residential area will shrink even more : )
The sea is clean, umbrellas / sun loungers are of course dilapidated, but there have always been places. there are no corals (in some places in the descriptions) there is not even a mention (on the right is a pier, on the left are stone blocks in the sea - in about eleven years they will of course be overgrown with corals, but now these are the beginnings). the sand is quite unpleasant - coarse, in places with stones. the fenced lagoon on the one hand is cramped for those who can swim, on the other, it is deep (and goes to depth sharply) for those who cannot swim.
Particularly noteworthy are the "adjustable" paid services offered on the beach - a massage there or a trip on a yacht. Don't believe a single word! show / tell one thing - get a completely different. There is no massage (so rather rubbing with oils), the bath is small, instead of the comfortable promised yacht, you will get a leaky trough without shelter from the sun, etc.
Swearing then is almost useless.
The hotel is located relatively close to the center, but on one side there is an abandoned wasteland and a construction site, on the other side there is an abandoned view of the city beach. Across the road from the city - hills and construction sites. there is no feeling of the center to put it mildly. Hurghada itself is rather scary, but shining with lights on the main street, there is nothing much to do there. I do not advise you to trade with locals at all - they will deceive you anyway. for souvenirs, for example, go straight to a state-owned store with fixed prices - not only will it come out cheaper (no matter how much you knock down the initial price from the locals), but the unhurried buying process without annoying sellers will bring much more pleasure
Old little boring hotel - would not recommend to anyone.
