I am writing about an average 5 star hotel in Egypt.
We spent 2 hours with check-in (arrived at 9.00), although they had the right, but they gave a room in a good location - building 1, floor 1 next to the central building with the main restaurant. The hotel at this time is 70-80% full. We had this: Germans - 30%, other Europe - 20%, Ukraine / Belarus - 30%, 10% - Arabs and other small nations. The attendants are exclusively Egyptians who are trying, there is no confusion and vacillation, cat. repeatedly observed in others. 5's. Standard room after renovation apparently - clean and everything works, no frills and raisins. Cleaning is very mediocre.
The territory is so large, so monotonous, and I would not say that it is straight green. There are gazebos, swings, big chess, tennis tables and courts, volleyball and football grounds, 7-8 mini-golf fields. The kids club is rather weak, although the girls try to entertain. The water park is clearly not for adults, but children from 6 to 13 years old will be interested, the quality of the coverage is good. But clean and tidy which is a plus. The pools are nice and clean and for all age groups. The choice of food is very average, but the quality is above average. Alcohol is good - beer and wine (white and red), the rest - for an undemanding tourist. Juices are packaged, which for me shows the level.

There is a minus - the waiters do not have time to set the tables. On the tables, those on the street, you will not see napkins (only wrapped fork-knife). It's better on the inside. There are about 6-7 free a la carte establishments with similar quality, with basic food, worth a visit because of the service. The beach area is wide with good sunbeds and umbrellas and fences that create comfort. You should go here for the sake of the sea - it is cool (and the sand, and a comfortable entry, and the quality of the water), I especially recommend it with children from 3-4 years old. The sand is not directly fine and pleasant, but without undue discomfort. There is a long concrete and wooden pontoon, which is beautiful to walk on and at the end you can swim with a mask and snorkel - there are a dozen small half-dead reefs with fish - who will be delighted 1-2 times.
The location of the hotel is great - close to shopping malls, a large mall, and even a taxi ride to Hurghada. The hotel could recommend. But for 1 time.
