I hope my fresh review about the holidays at Sunrise Select Garden during quarantine will help tourists decide.

As in any hotel, there are pluses and minuses here.

A huge plus for the hotel for the beach, territory and staff! )

Everything is clean, the beach is equipped, cleaned and very comfortable. The entry into the sea is sandy (coarse sand with small shells in places) and excellent, both for small children and adults. Smooth care in depth. Although the water of the Red Sea is so salty that you stay afloat well, it only stings your eyes) Some sun loungers on the beach right by the water, especially at high tide)

There is a not very long pontoon / pier, from where you can swim in the depths and see the fish on your own, the neighbors in the room even filmed the turtles.

The territory is clean, large and very green, well-groomed. There are several activities - street chess, a gazebo with a swing, an alley with green arches.

The staff is unobtrusive, friendly, the animation works perfectly, daily dancing, zumba or yoga on the beach, by the pool, in the sea water aerobics. Evening shows and mini disco every day.

To be honest, we did not have time, we had a lot of everything))

For children there is a water park with 10 slides, and very small slides in the pool for kids. There is enough water park, since there is a beautiful sea nearby.

Yes, besides everything, I did not expect quarantine, but we also went on small excursions! Long distance day trips to Cairo, Luxor, etc. are also offered.

The hotel is 50% full, and the tour also fills 50% of the places.

But be careful with guides. We took three excursions on the first day of our acquaintance with the guides, and paid for them in advance, for which we were promised discounts, etc. , etc. But when we wanted to refuse one of them, we warned the guide for 3 (!
) the day before the time H, then he, referring to some of his top management, did not return the money, although their rules state that there is a 100% refund if you ask for a refund no later than 48 hours before the start of the tour. This rule was ignored by the guide. By the way, the guide is from TO Tui.

After this conflict, we decided never to take excursions from hotel guides from now on, and overpay for it, because we found an alternative in Hurghada much cheaper.

There are nuances in nutrition - the kitchen is a bit spicy and oversalted for us personally, but this is a subjective opinion.

We definitely were not hungry and chose the usual dishes. Fish and seafood were every day + 4 a la carte restaurants by appointment, but you can repeatedly.

I can't help but say about the minus, and it is significant, because it affects the convenience of living - the room.

1. Bunk bed, kids don't like that. But at least our children are already adults, and with small ones it may seem uncomfortable.

2.

Old and noisy air conditioner. There is such a system that he takes the air from your own hallway and cools it into the room. And exactly on a children's bed. We had to be smart to protect the child from the cold stream. At night, this noise and flow interfered, so we had to turn it off and sleep wet from the heat. You can’t open the windows - two small ones, again, behind the children’s bed in a nook and without nets, and you can’t open the balcony door on the 1st floor either ((

3. There is a shower in the bathroom, where water flows from the ceiling watering can, and it is a pity that there is no usual watering can with a hose (to rinse the legs or part of the body, or the baby), I am silent about the bidet already.

4. Cleaning was every day, sometimes we refused, but the cleaning is superficial, without changing the bed, although bath towels are changed every day. But the beach ones - no, because of which for 9 days from salt water they stood with us a stake : )

5. It is a pity that there are no disposable slippers, because
tiles on the floor everywhere, a lot of sand (although we always took a shower on the beach).

These shortcomings spoiled the impression of the hotel a little.

Yes, about precautions. There are disinfectants on the tables in restaurants, staff in masks, daily temperature measurement. Upon check-in, they showed the presence of the test results for Covid-19, which we did in Kyiv.
