Our eighth stay in Egypt. so there is something to compare.
Rested in November 2020 from TUI 2 adults + 2 children (8 and 13 years old). We were very pleased with our vacation! Thanks to all the hotel staff!
The family room was 75 sq. m with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything is fine: Furniture, bedding, room cleaning, drinking water was brought to the room daily. The cards from the doors did not jam and worked all the days (thanks for giving out two cards for 4 - very convenient! ). There are no cockroaches, but there are mosquitoes!
The territory is clean, they wash and clean it all the time, etc.
In the sea there is an entry from the shore without corals, there is an entry from the pontoon. At the end of the pontoon down the steps there are some fish.

The heated pool is the one with water slides. The pool water is around 28°C. In other pools did not bathe at all - cold water. Water slides are open from 10 to 12 and from 14 to 16 for children from 120 cm. For the smaller ones there are a couple of smaller slides in the same pool. For very young children up to 5 years there is also a 40 cm heated pool with small slides.
There is some animation. Yoga and aqua aerobics on the beach (I didn’t go), volleyball near the beach, a children’s disco at 20.30, a kids club is open 2 hours before lunch and 2 hours after (we didn’t go either). Special thanks for the fact that there were always rackets with a ball on the tennis tables. My children played with pleasure every day and it was not necessary to look for animators in order to take rackets.
The staff is very polite and friendly!
Ice cream daily at the Gamila cafe on the beach from 12 to 17. There are also drinks, burgers, pizza and french fries.
A la carte restaurants by appointment. We went to spanish, italian, oriental, beach burger and asian. We liked the Asian one the most, which is located in the Mamluk (a common area for two hotels).
Another special thanks for the coffee machines in the main restaurant and at the reception. Finally, in Egypt you can drink delicious coffee!
There is a lot of food, everything is delicious, fish every day, chicken is beyond praise. For breakfast they bake stunning croissants - I recommend it. Also, do not forget to ask for packaged juices in addition to cola and yupi. We drank mango, orange, pineapple, guava - this is definitely not this color chemistry. Drinks are brought by the waiters, you can order them.
Internet is free throughout the territory!
The hotel is almost empty, so there are always sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach and by the pools. All cafes have empty tables.
Conclusion: given the post-quarantine restrictions, the holiday turned out to be great!
Cons: the sea after Marsa Alam and Sharm was not impressed at all. Clean, warm, but if you need the underwater world - then you are not here.

And yet, we went to Hurghada for the sake of the pyramids and Luxor. So excursions from the tour operator are well, very expensive. For comparison: a ticket with a flight for 10 days. Al in a family room is 370 USD / person, and to see Cairo or Luxor for one day for four of us is also almost 300 USD. for everyone. We ended up going through a local company. To see all the interesting things you need a few days to Cairo, Alexandria and Luxor. And I recommend taking an individual excursion for the family. Then for 300-400 dollars you will not get absolutely unnecessary excursions, and you can stay at the Pyramids and museums for an hour more.
