So!
We went on vacation with a young man from April 10.2009 to April 20.2009.
They approached the choice of the hotel very carefully, because they did not want to spoil their vacation with poor-quality service and all sorts of "surprises".
At first we liked the Citadel Azur Resort, but after reading the reviews, we decided to look for something else, and stopped at the Lti Titanic Beach 5 * hotel. Being a child at heart, I especially liked the presence of a water park on site. I will say right away that we were in another water park at the Titanic Aqua Park 4 * hotel, there are more slides, but less impressions. There are slides on which you can’t roll on a mattress or on a bun, it turns out to be very painful for the body. But according to my observations, the children had a lot of fun there.

Now about the rest in general and, of course, about the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel quickly, at 11.00 am (Egyptian time) we were already there. We learned that check-in at the hotel is at 14.00, and check-out at 12.00. Upset. I had to wait a little… settled down on soft chairs in the hall, I even fell asleep.
While we were waiting, we met a couple from Moscow. At 12.00 we were given the keys to the room and cards for towels. They didn't pay extra for the room. The room was spacious, large and clean on the 2nd floor next to new Muscovite acquaintances. So, in the room: shower, bath, sink, mirror, telephone, air conditioning, hair dryer, toilet, large bed, chest of drawers with a mirror, different lockers, sofa, table, refrigerator, TV (including Russian channels), safe (for the safe was also not paid), two sockets and a large full-length mirror in the corridor. There are two chairs and a table on the balcony. Settled down, showered and went to dinner. The food of the Egyptians is specific, so we took only what was familiar to us by sight and smell. There are no inscriptions (for example, in Turkey in a restaurant they sign what is cooked).
The food was potatoes, chicken, eggs, meat, rice, pasta, soups, tomatoes, fresh and pickled cucumbers, all kinds of sauces, sour cream, sausage and cheese cuts, I especially liked sweets: all kinds of cakes, cake, with berries, with pineapples pancakes are delicious! The food was the same every day! And a lot! There were always enough spoons, forks and glasses. Free tables too! But sugar sometimes had to be sought. Never had to wait for space to become available. There are special chairs for small children. You could eat both inside and outside. I also liked that for dinner they made kebabs on the street from squid, chicken and meat. There was also ice cream as much as you want!! ! At the beach bar at 12.00 o'clock they fed, hot dogs, french fries, vegetable cuts, cheese pizza (very tasty when fresh and still hot). From fruits: bananas, guava, oranges, apples, peaches (still green and tasteless).
You could buy strawberries for 25 pounds, watermelon (ripe and tasty) for 40 pounds ($1 is 5.61 pounds). Drinks included sprite, cola, sometimes diluted with water, fanta, soda, and other drinks such as the local Ypi diluted with water. Once, my boyfriend ordered a Titanic alcoholic cocktail - it's just f*ck! (Sorry! ). It is better to buy alcoholic cocktails, probably only then they will be of proper quality.

By the way, the meeting with the guide was scheduled for 9 am the next day. That is, the whole day we were left to ourselves, not knowing where everything is. Somehow they oriented themselves.
The next day we paid for the excursions that we chose. We took an excursion to Cairo, it seems that is what is called "Cairo". We traveled 6 hours by bus. We left at 1 am ...that is, we somehow suffered all night, then we went to the museum, to the oil factory, then to the pyramids, the sphinx, to the jewelry store ...we were also fed in a restaurant. In short, very tiring.
Who does not want to suffer, there is the same excursion, but by plane, it costs much more! We didn’t like the tour… especially since we were traveling in a cold bus at night… It was very cold from the air conditioner on… so take warm clothes with you or, if you didn’t take it, then pull out a large towel from the room and cover yourself with it! We drove back in the evening. When the sun went down, it became cold again on the bus...everyone wrapped themselves in warm blouses...this time I could not stand it and asked to reduce the cold air a little...My request was fulfilled...exactly for 20 minutes, then the air conditioner started working again!! ! In short, I was angry! In the review of the tour noted this shortcoming! I still can't figure out why the air conditioner is on at night! ? On the street, by the way, after sunset it is not stuffy and not hot! In general, I caught a cold, so just in case, take a first aid kit with you (only the necessary).
If you are traveling with children, I do not advise you to take such an excursion! Two twin boys were traveling with us ...you should have seen their tired bodies !!!
I can’t say anything about the animation ...I saw them only 3 times during the entire vacation. Once in front of the discotheque (they were handing out bingo tickets), the second time on the hotel grounds with a bunch of kids, and the third time at the restaurant at breakfast!

About sun loungers.

If you sleep before 13.00, then you can definitely not count on finding a free sun lounger. We woke up at about 8 ...by 9 we went out, took towels, occupied a sunbed and went to have breakfast. But if you have taken a sun lounger and do not use it, the staff has the right to pick up your towel and pass the sunbed to someone who needs it. This has happened before our very eyes several times. The water park started working from 10.00. Once they turned off the electricity, they fixed it only by 12.
I liked the water park ...but at first two slides did not work ...by the end of the holiday, one was finally put into operation. There is such a big blue slide - I advise everyone, it's breathtaking!! ! There are also smaller slides for little kids.

Room cleaning.
Tipping was left to the cleaner, but the bar was not always replenished (the bar is updated every day - this is a sprite, cola, fanta and a couple of bottles of ordinary water), the sprite did not regularly report. The balcony was not cleaned. Everyone knows that in Egypt there are winds ...and so on the balcony there was this sandy dust. Somehow we ran into a cleaner, showed that it was necessary to clean it, cleaned it!
At night it is better to close the balcony. Once we found a bug and a butterfly in the room.

Now about the beach and the sea.
There is a pantone, a small car runs. If you go on foot into the sea on your own, then you need special shoes - you can get hurt. Go far to the depth.
They say that the flora and fauna there are very beautiful ...so I advise you to take masks and dive.
We didn't do that.

About shops on site.
They are divided into two types: those that are in the hotel, and those that are at the entrance to the hotel.
It's customary to bargain there.
Souvenirs I liked more in those shops that are at the entrance. By the way, there is also an oil shop (seller Titu). He lures tourists to the store with a request to simply write a review about his store, pours tea, talks about oils, demonstrates the product, then you write a review, he asks “what will you buy? "And you answer, they say, you weren't going to buy anything ...you just decided to help and write a review ...Then Titu's expression changes and he asks, " Why are all Russians so greedy? "Here I want to kill him!!! ! In short, it’s better to go past and not succumb to any requests ...

Transport.

If you are going to go somewhere by bus, then it is better to have exactly the amount that you are going to pay with you, you can not wait for the change!
The fare for one on the bus costs about 2 pounds (you can bargain).
The hotel has its own taxi (but it costs more, you can also bargain). We met one taxi driver Mohammed (he has a silver king). Very friendly, we exchanged cds… he gave us a cool CD with Arabic music, and we gave him Russian. One evening he was invited to go with us to sit in a cafe right in the city itself. We spoke in English, it was very interesting to find out how they live, he told about his family, about work, friends. We sat in a cafe, smoked a hookah - only 14 rubles. Then he paid the entire bill (although we invited him) and returned to the hotel with him. But for the fact that he drove us and brought us, of course they paid, this is his job.

At the moment, the construction of another building is underway, but this did not bother us ...no noise!
Enjoyed a free massage at the spa. Liked.
From entertainment there are billiards, bowling, tennis, golf.

Egyptians always ask “how are you? » in Russian, smiling and joking.
There are many Russians, Germans and French in the hotel, a little less Poles, Czechs, Egyptians themselves (for them this is a very expensive holiday) and Americans.
By the way, this is the only hotel where there are no bracelets. This is good, because by the end of the rest there are no white marks left on the arm.
In general, I can write a lot more ...but it's better for you to go there and experience everything yourself, because my opinion is subjective. In general, I liked the rest. If you decide to go, it is better to go there with companies, with friends! Holidays are not for youth, of course, more for families with children.
