We arrived in Hurghada on 5.03. 11, it immediately caught my eye that the airport was somehow empty, there were few buses in the parking lot, all Pegasov ones. We reached the hotel in 20 minutes, our hotel was the first and most of the bus, only 16 people, got off in it. On the way to the hotel, about 80% of the shops were closed, the windows were covered with newspapers, even near Golden 5 only 2-3 stores were open, all the rest were in newspapers ...
At the hotel, as it turned out, they were waiting for us very much, we were the first Russian-speaking tourists after the revolution. As the guide said, we were very lucky because our hotel was 60% full, while others were 10-20% full. I was surprised that no one asks for money, even the suitcase porter, I had to catch up with him to give him a couple of bucks.
We were settled quickly, the rooms were given almost everything nearby (we were 6 adults and 1 child). The rooms are good and spacious. The room has a safe, minibar free of charge (filled every day as drunk), one large bed, plasma TV and all sorts of bedside tables.

There was no bathroom, only a shower that stuck out like a nipple from the wall.
Room cleaning is poor, the bed is made, towels are changed, and that's it. Even the dust will not wipe on the bedside tables. The floor was washed only after we brought some sand from the beach and poured it into the corner. The dollar did not help.
The territory of the hotel is green, it is no longer possible to plant greenery, the entire territory is occupied by swimming pools, one large heated one, the water temperature in it is about 25 degrees, there is a pool with artificial waves, a river for rafting, and all sorts of different slides. But there is no sea, that is, it seems to be there, only the depth there is 10-15 cm in total, but if you want to swim, there is a pier, about 300-400 meters. From the pier there are three descents with different depths, the closest one, there is a depth of about a meter, at the very last one about 4 meters and a good reef, from all sorts of underwater inhabitants.
The usual Egyptian food for a solid four was plenty to choose from, the fruits were constantly and in a good assortment, every evening something was grilled beef, lamb, quail, crabs, etc. Everything can be taken out of restaurants, including fruits . Only now they wash the dishes very badly, and the glasses are even worse.
Royail AL food and this is noticeable, alcohol is not given only from 6:00-10:00, there is a 24-hour bar on the 2nd floor (especially hungry after 24:00 can have a bite to eat here), a pool bar (there they pour a swimmer and a suitable one), a scourge bar (here you can eat fast food at lunch), there is not a bad disco, everything is also poured there for free. All sorts of colorful cool cocktails, if asked, are made from local alcoholic beverages. Upon check-in, they gave cards to visit one of the alacarte restaurants, went to the fish restaurant, did not like it. We wanted to Chinese, but it was closed.
Excursions were taken to Luxor and evening Moto safari.

Luxor impressed, there were almost no tourists, except for our bus, which was about 50% full, there were a couple more. Moto safari is also more interesting than before, besides our company there were only 2 people, almost personally. They asked the guide not to go to the Bedouins, but to ride in the mountains with springboards, they didn’t go to the Bedouins, but went to the mountains. If you go, ask for mountains without Bedouins.
We went to Hurghada in the evening, a taxi was 10 bucks in both directions and the taxi driver was waiting for us for 2 hours, the prices there are 3-4 times lower than at the hotel and 5 times lower than in Luxor in shops where tourists are brought. The city is safe, the police even appeared, when we arrived there was none at all.
We were unlucky with the weather for the first 2 days, everything was fine, then a strong wind blew and did not stop until the very departure, but the hotel is well designed on its territory, the wind is almost not felt, it blows near the slides and on the beach, but it is not closer to the heated pool.
We were satisfied with the rest, the hotel is very good for its money, I won’t go back there a second time - I love variety. If anyone doubts whether to go there or not, go boldly.
Now for the pros and cons:
+ Complete water park
+ Alcohol almost around the clock and everywhere
+ Do not ask for money
+ Good rooms
+ Good animation

- Poor housekeeping
- Dirty dishes
- Fresh for $4
