We chose a hotel as one that had just been built (not even renovated) with the hope that the administration and staff would try hard for reviews and build up a clientele.
In fact, we got a really new hotel (the building, the infrastructure - everything is ok). The staff is professional and polite. However, it is immediately clear that building up a clientele is not their thing. They bet on the fact that the Russians "will go anyway", which is actually happening. It is indicative that in the first half of the holiday, according to their own assessment, the "guests" from Russia were within 20%. So it was quiet and pleasant everywhere (and also clean). Towards the end, their number increased to about 60% and everything became standard for this category - trying to take a place on the beach in the evening, spilled drinks on the floor that the staff did not have time to wipe up, spilled food in the restaurant and noisy companies that were formed right there.
It was telling how, right before our eyes, two guys from the same company saw more Russians and, shouting "we have vodka - come to us, " invited them to their place...Actually, they sat together afterwards.
Speaking of alcohol - morning champagne of normal quality, beer - as usual in Egypt - well, something normal. The rest (wine and all strong positions) - well, "on the top three". If you don't really care what to drink - it's better to bring it with you or buy it in Hurghada in the city. Otherwise, leave the drinking to the Muscovites : )
The overall impression of the hotel is about 4 (out of 5) and is moving downwards if they don't keep track of how many guests from Zaporozhye are coming to them. It could be better if there are more people from normal countries.
