Good evening everyone!
TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL. The meeting with TUI tour operators at the airport of Hurghada was well-coordinated for 5+! They were so agile, constantly running and looking for "their" tourists. It's impossible to get lost! On the bus, I was immediately scammed by the tour operator (transfer). He talked about the country, asked: "Does anyone have any questions? " I asked the question - "what are the working hours of the markets? ". . . To which he said: "Well, since no one has any questions, then. . . "
SETTLEMENT. Before the trip, I read a bunch of comments about our hotel and did as many vacationers advised there: I gave $ 10 at the reception to check into the apartment, instead of the paid standard double! We settled in fairly quickly. The porter (his name is Yasser) brought our 1(! ) suitcase on wheels to the room (he had a mini-excursion around the hotel on the way). We went in - it turned out to be a standard double! When asked if all the apartments are occupied, he replied that no, but you need to pay an extra $ 100 - we refused. I also told him that we have a double, not a twin (the beds were separate), to which he replied "the beds can be moved. " They gave him $ 1, and he was so displeased with MY BAKSHISH (in Egyptian "tip") $ 5, I GOT YOU AN EXCELLENT ROOM!

We are already stunned by such impudence! He also said, they say, at the reception we gave $ 10, but we regret him 5 ! ! In general, within 10 minutes. he just demanded another $ 4, in the end we got tired of everything, gave him another $ 2 and drove him out of the room. On the trail. day, all the attendants no longer smiled at us, did not ask how things were going, a day later the attendants stopped greeting us. 
ROOM. Standard double in building 5, quite spacious, 2 single beds. View of the new pool. Everything is modest, but tasteful. Terrible curtain in the shower! There is dust on the railings on the balcony (apparently it has not been cleaned for a long time). The air conditioner was terribly noisy until we fixed the rattling grate ourselves. Poorly opened and closed ALL doors of the room (starting from the entrance, ending with the toilet). I had to push on it and the door closed, though with a crash! Because of this, I often woke up in the morning, not counting the prayer at 5 o’clock (someone goes to breakfast before us and hoooo rumbles - our balcony shutters instantly reacted). And also cockroaches!!!
CLEANING AND SERVICE. At first they cleaned mediocre, superficially. On the 2nd day of our stay, we found fragments from a glass under the bed. Once a janitor made swans for us, but because we had no money left by that time, we could not leave him anything. Following. cleaning, he did not cover the bedside rug (it was lying crumpled). Once we were not informed of the sheets, they asked at the reception to bring them, they promised to bring them to the tech. 15 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, I had to call, they brought it within half an hour.
MUSLIM COUNTRY. Muslims are deeply religious people, as we were convinced every 5 am : )) - at this time the first prayer takes place. The man yells into the microphone and everyone picks him up. We were especially lucky, there was a mosque next to our building =))
We were also unpleasantly surprised that swimming in the sea after sunset is strictly prohibited by law! You can swim in the hotel pools until 18.00. In general, in the evenings we walked and breathed fresh air : -)
TERRITORY OF THE HOTEL. Large and green: everything is in bloom, various bridges, paths, architecture, pools of different sizes and depths - but all the pools are unheated, so there were few swimmers.

Quite rightly, the girl wrote earlier about the song "Fuck you, " which was played on the territory of the hotel 3-4 times a day (we only heard this, maybe more) - this is the horror and shame of the Russian nation, but they apparently like it .

SEA. When you are going to the sea - you need to take a rectangular card (a girl and a guy are drawn on the front side) for towels - without it you will not be given them. To the sea min. 5-7, no more! You need to cross the road and try not to catch the eye of crazy taxi drivers who, in my opinion, do not take their hands off the signal! ! If you are going to go to the sea when the plants are being watered, you are out of luck. Terrible stink around! Very cool reef (I won't paint, there are already a lot of comments). All the days of rest on the beach, someone constantly approached us and offered something. If you are going to swim on a distant beach (where there are deep reefs) - special slippers are simply necessary, otherwise you will scratch all your legs.
There is a wonderful person on the beach - the seller of oils Emil. A very kind guy. Everything will tell about the country, about his shop and about himself. And most importantly, it's a pleasure to listen to. Perfume at it on 1 pound for ml. I was fascinated by the smell of Nefertiti - so gentle! His shop is behind the toilets at the very end of the buildings. There is also a cotton seller - Mark. A little intrusive, he loves to show photos and videos on his phone, "how tourists love him and how good he is. "
TOURS. Do not take excursions from tour operators - they are with a huge wrap! Better go to the Sheraton (New City), near McDonald's or KFC (on the opposite side) you can take the same excursions 1.5 times cheaper. For example, in Sakkala you can buy an ATV tour with an individual guide, which will allow you to ride freely, and not in single file one after another.
NUTRITION. We took breakfast and dinner and did not regret it.

Breakfast - you can howl. Nothing to eat in the morning! No, there was food, but how can you eat quality sausages for 80 rubles? Or melted cheese for 120 rubles? ! At first, vegetables were saved - tomatoes with cucumbers, after 3-4 days they began to be served spoiled, especially tomatoes - almost all were soft! Every morning we saved ourselves with an omelette, if we had boiled eggs, very tasty cheese (a little salty). At breakfast, we had the following scheme: they say a person stood in line for an omelet, and I went to collect the above and "caught" fresh tomatoes and cucumbers.
It’s hard to find fault with dinner (a variety of food, a lot of salads, several types of side dishes, meat - just excellent gravy with beef, fish, chicken and a wide variety of baked foods), except that the dishes are poorly washed, you had to choose clean ones, and the coffee is terrible diluted. the woman wrote correctly here - if you add milk to coffee, you get the impression that they washed a bowl of milk and poured it into your mug. Several once there was a very tasty fish (in breadcrumbs), taking into account the fact that I don’t like fish and don’t eat it, it was very tasty! ))) A huge selection of sweets. A deep bow to the confectioner Zakhabia, in this regard, I pleased : )) 6.7, 8 types of sweets, it’s impossible to resist: cakes, cookies, pudding, and various buns))) In general, goodbye figure!
NEW CITY (SAKALLA). We got out into the city, walked along a narrow path to the Sheraton and met a boy of 12-13 years old, no more. He came close with his tray of papyrus, looked into his eyes and said "Baksheesh". At that time we did not yet know what kind of scheme this was and that they had worked it out for a long time! In general, he robbed us, stole money, water rights and an identity document in Estonia (it was needed to enter Egypt) - we took all the documents with us after the incident with the porter and with the current situation with the staff in general.
Because this is an eastern country - bargain with sellers, some even love and admire it, if you do it skillfully. BUT, however, not all (read further in the comments)!
TOUR OPERATOR HOTEL. In the evening we arrived at the hotel quite upset. We went to the reception to "catch" our tour operator to find out if they would let us go home at all (without the stolen document)?

The tour operator TUI at the hotel was also a little pleased. His name is Omar. As we told him that we were not interested in excursions, interest in our persons disappeared instantly! They tried to find out if they would let us out of the country, because. the document that was stolen was needed to enter the country! he answered very dryly, through force, the answers had to be pulled out of him literally with tongs. He said that he would find out the day before our flight home, and this is already in 6 days! I tried to explain to the cold-blooded operator that if a document is needed to return home, at the moment we still have time to contact Russia, Estonia in order to resolve the problem (we took the initiative into our own hands, because we didn’t feel it from him, although this is his job, damn it! ) And in the end, we will be nervous all the vacation and worry whether they will let us out of the country or not ?!
MERCHANTS. We went to the local market - Dahar, for fruit. On the way, the merchants pester so that, in my opinion, you need to walk with a stun gun or with a gun. very intrusive, arrogant and rude. we pass a clothing store, an Arab invites us to "just look", we say, "thank you, but we don't need anything", calmly, kindly. he follows us: YOU ARE RUSSIAN - ALL THE RAMS ARE UNBRAINED! Normal, right? ! He yelled something else with foam at the mouth, about suckers, but we preferred to get past the crazy huckster as soon as possible.
When they traded in the markets - they asked for a low price - so they showed their heads with their palms, they say, is he sick or something? It is normal for them, apparently, it is considered, because. encountered this many times.
GENERAL IMPRESSION: I will say this, we went to Egypt for the sun, sea and rest from the metropolis and dank St. Petersburg weather - we got it. But the impression from the country itself remained terrible. Devastation is everywhere - a sea of destroyed buildings, but the local people were more upset - a huge number of people are engaged in theft and deceit, most Egyptians have no sense of tact at all, but a lot of importunity, arrogance and rudeness! Pleased only Emil on the beach. I would not call us rare picky, but we have the opinion that the Russians are bags of money for the Egyptians, and they try to “pump out” as much as possible. If you don't tip, you're greedy and they don't need you, they stop being friendly and polite, if you don't leave baksheesh for the janitor, he'll do you harm. If you don't want to go to the store and buy something, you're an ill-mannered sheep. . . In general, this is the impression I got about this country and this people in general. And we think so with our beloved, maybe in old age we will go to Egypt, when we are more calm about everything, or maybe not, time will tell.
