Holidays in Egypt were planned for the first time, so we read a lot of reviews about a large number of hotels. For us, a married couple 50+, with the remnants of knowledge of the English language obtained in the Soviet school, the presence of Russian-speaking staff and a polite attitude towards customers were of great importance. Service, price, proximity to historical sites (winter is a great time to travel around Egypt) also played an important role. Having given preference to the hotel Hawaii Le Jardin Aqua Park 5 *, we were not mistaken. The hotel is huge, but works like a well-oiled machine. Everyone works like bees, day and night. A lot of Russian-speaking staff, ready to fulfill any request, to come to the rescue; I would especially like to note the professionalism of the guys at the reception. All hotel staff are courteous and polite. Here you will never hear: “I don’t understand” (when it’s beneficial for them, as they say in reviews of many hotels), even those who do not know Russian will not turn away from you, they will simply point to those who can help. We liked absolutely everything in the hotel: service, variety of food, room (We did not pay attention to the little things. For especially picky advice - take a ticket not for $ 300 with a flight, transfer, accommodation and all-inclusive meals, but for 800 and more. Or demand such a service in your homeland and for such money). From the balcony there was an amazing view of the pool, palm trees, the sea. For the hotel we put a solid 10! But. . . The mood was spoiled by the guide at the hotel from the company Anex-tour Hassan. We were ready for his rudeness (according to reviews) and withstood the insistent DEMAND for one and a half days to take excursions from Anex (2-3 times more expensive than others. For the most interesting excursions, we are for two to the Cairo Museum and the pyramids in Giza; For Dendera-Luxor (amazing! ), for a walk on a bathyscaphe with coral viewing, they paid $ 182 instead of $ 450 with discounts! at Anex). For several days, the guide (bastard! ) Hasan did not say hello, threw sparks and gnashed his teeth from anger and powerlessness to influence us. We didn't take into account. But having learned about our last excursion, he threatened and angrily wished us an accident on the road (departure from the hotel and return at night! ) Fortunately, he does not rule our destinies, but the mood was spoiled.
