We rested in Egypt for the first time, we went in the most "off season" (an impromptu trip : )). Departed from Kyiv at 6 am. Everything went ok and on time. The only thing that is inconvenient - first you check in your luggage, then you go through customs. And if something cannot be carried in hand luggage, you just have to throw it away (like nail scissors : )). And yet, you can carry no more than 100 ml of water in hand luggage. they didn’t tell me (with a child) and managed to carry some water on the plane : ). In Hurghada, on the return flight, all this happens more conveniently. We flew with the Wind Rose airline. The plane was an airbus, nothing fell off or trembled, the crew was attentive and smiling (although I read a lot of bad reviews about this company). Upon arrival at the airport, representatives of Turtesses met us (they gave us time to change into summer clothes; )) and we quickly got to our Harmony Makadi Bay hotel. The overall impression is good.
By the day I will not paint ; ), I will say the main thing. 1. Number. I went with my daughter and a friend with her son. At the reception they put 10 dollars in their passports. - and we were given rooms nearby, overlooking the sea (2421 and 2422). The rooms are spacious, everything worked (in the bathroom - shower, toilet, bidet, washbasin). There are no bathrobes, as in the photo of the site : ). As for the tip - what was left 1 dollar, what not - they cleaned it equally cleanly : ) Towels were changed every day, even if we did not throw them on the floor. The minibar was replenished every day (free of charge): water, coca-cola and sprite. And sugar, coffee, cream (all in sticks) for two. The room has a kettle, 2 cups. 2. Food. Compared to Turkish fives, the choice is small... Mostly chicken meat, something similar to beef, and sausages. There are 6 types of salads, but the composition of all is almost the same: tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage. I really liked the stewed eggplants and zucchini (only they are the size of gherkins). By the way, their soups are delicious, I did not expect. And for breakfast there were always delicious croissants! Nobody will die of hunger. There were very few fruits... oranges, tangerines, passion fruit (only you need to choose it ripe: yellow and soft). They were waiting for strawberries (they have a season), but there was never one. There were bananas once. Near the pool there are french fries and ice cream. At certain hours.
3. Entertainment. Every evening there was a performance by animators, a disco (in the main building), water aerobics in the morning and during the day something like darts, etc. Kids club and playground were present. But it is interesting for children from 3 to 7 years. Ours (8 and 10) had fun on the trampoline, swings and football (boys and Russians and Egyptians gathered on their own and chased the ball : )). 4. Sea. Of course, there is. But it is very far from the beach : ))).....you have to walk meters to take a dip (our neighbors went). But since the water was cold, we didn’t go to the sea (although we bought slippers on the spot. They are definitely needed if you are going to swim in the sea). Conclusion, if you go summer-autumn, then do not swim in the sea - it's a shame, but it's far from it. And we got by with a heated pool (which is also very important in winter). The kids didn't get out of there. There is a jacuzzi near the pool. The water is straight hot, but chlorine, already disgusting... Sunbeds near the pool are always full. The bar is mostly drinks, before dinner they bring a bit of sweets to coffee and tea. Free coffee, as in Turkey, "nescafe" golem. . . Tea - lipton. It's time to sunbathe during this period - from 10 to 15. Then it gets colder because of the wind. From warm clothes, I took the child - a velor tracksuit and a sweater, trousers and a sweatshirt for myself, regular and long-sleeved T-shirts, capri. Enough. They walked around the territory in open slippers. And in the room - air conditioning for heat . . A friend with pleasure : ) put on a light jacket and sneakers in the evening. During the day - in sarafans.

I took a travel iron - it came in handy once. You don't need to take a hair dryer. If it is important to someone, then take a hair straightener or curling iron with you. I remembered! there is no clothes dryer in the room (and on the terrace). They hung swimsuits, etc. on the railings and chairs... It dried up until the morning thanks to the air conditioner. 5. Service personnel. Always ready to help, smiling and friendly. We have no complaints. Tesstur's representative, Walid, is a very obliging person. Everything will always help, call-remind. They took tours with him. More expensive than others offered (on the beach, near the pool), but I was with a child, and the situation in Egypt is unstable, so I took more, but with my own insurance. Excursions are interesting, except for one - a trip to Hurghada for shopping from the hotel. If you have the opportunity to call a taxi and go on your own, then this is better. The cost in both directions for a car is from 20 to 30 dollars. You yourself choose the markets, shops, bargain to the point of insanity and profitably buy what you need. And by bus from the hotel you will be taken to TWO state shops: oils-perfumes and "cotton-knitwear" : ). I bought oils in Luxor when we went on an excursion (it was cheaper there), so it was not interesting to listen and watch the same thing a second time. I bought only towels (so that the trip was not for nothing : )). In general, it’s not interesting and not profitable. If I had known, then in Luxor I would have bought everything at the markets when we passed them on the territory of the temples. I had to buy little things (presents) at my hotel and, if you go, going out to the beach, to the left through other hotels, to "Stella . . t-a-m-h-e-g-o-t-o" (I don’t remember exactly names). There are a lot of shops there, but you have to bargain with even more effort : ). Information for women - hygiene items are VERY expensive, so if you need it - take everything from home. The return flight was uneventful. Dry rations were not issued, but we managed to have breakfast in the morning (breakfast starts at 7 am). Everything is on time and convenient. Arrived in Kyiv in the snow and frost with tanned faces : ). The trip, for the first time in Egypt, were satisfied. I concluded for myself - if you go to Egypt, then mainly on excursions. The landscape that surrounds the hotels is not at all joyful and not interesting. Egypt is probably an amateur country : ). To everyone who goes there - I wish you a good and useful time!
