This was our fourth holiday in Egypt, but in Hurghada - the first, before that we were 3 times in Sharm, twice in 5 * (Domina Coral Bay Sultan and Sea Club) and one in 4 * (Rotana Montazah).

We arrived at about 10 am - settled instantly, 10 bucks in the passport, villa 36.3rd floor. Both us and our luggage were delivered by electric car. This is the second line of buildings, located approximately in the center of the hotel, there is a sea view. In principle, all buildings are located in such a way that all the balconies of the rooms face the sea, only at different angles.

Very spacious, I was especially struck by the balcony - an area of ​ ​ ​ ​ about 12 meters. Needs a light "makeup", refreshment, so to speak. The furniture is not falling apart, air conditioning, mini-bar, hair dryer, safe - everything worked. There was no fungus in the bathroom or any insect living creatures. In general, without a claim to luxury, but quite suitable for a comfortable stay.
Also surprised by the presence of a kettle in the room and daily replenishment of tea and coffee (instant). Such a nice little thing.

Territory.

Big, green, well-groomed. Very clean.

Nutrition.

I liked it very much. Beef, chicken, fish - always. No queues, no restrictions. Also fresh fruits and vegetables that the chef cuts especially for you, which you choose yourself. In fairness, I want to note that my wife and I always liked the food in Egypt, while there were no poisoning or stomach problems during all 4 visits.

Staff.

Of all the hotels we have visited before, the Harmony staff is the most polite, efficient and unobtrusive. They were just pleasantly surprised. Perhaps this is the result of the fact that we saw the manager of the hotel every day - either at the reception, then in the restaurant, then by the pool - but the fact is there.

Swimming pool.

The hotel has 4 swimming pools, including 1 heated, 1 with slides, plus a jacuzzi. Quite enough

Sea.

Very comfortable spacious beach. The sea is not for the lazy - to plunge into the sea with your head, you need to go along a long pier that ends with a pontoon, 200 meters. Now there is very strong excitement and it is difficult to choose the time to swim. By the way, the pontoon is again broken by waves. Or on the left side of the beach, on the border with Azur. But unfortunately, the local coral is far from Charming.

Animation.

As everywhere: aqua aerobics, water polo, yoga, evening shows - in general, no better and no worse.

Summary.

Harmony Makadi Bay is a no-frills hotel, but a great option for a budget holiday. If you want to get maximum comfort for little money, you can hardly find the best price-quality ratio!
