The first impression in any of the hotels - not the best, no luxury, even modest. There is no luxury in the rooms, but the territory is luxurious, there are no words. After you get on the bus at the airport and 35-40min. You observe the desert and hotels that are so-so, then you think, willy-nilly, “Where will they bring you, and what awaits you? » But when you enter the protected area, you understand that you are serious, and after a while you find yourself in an oasis and then you wait further.
From the second day you understand that good service, good food, German guards over Arabs are pluses. The territory is closed, guarded by the military and tour police, you can enter only with passes. For tourists, a bus runs 3 times a day according to the schedule, it costs $ 6 and $ 3 for children, travel there and back in 2 hours. You can take a taxi from the city for $ 10 or 50 -60 pounds, but only taxis will be allowed into Makadi.

We rested on the ALL all inclusive system and this is the only hotel in which colored bracelets were not worn before (until September 2006).

Rest - sea, beach, table tennis, football, volleyball, floor chess, billiards, fitness center, bocha, windsurfing, diving, playground, swimming pools, bars, SPA salon, massage on the beach.

Animation - in the evenings, thematic shows are different every day, in the ShiSha bar. Every week the Olympic Day is held on Mondays, this is also a kind of show until late in the evening, in the summer it ended with a disco in the desert, and in the winter at the LaLoca disco bar.

On the territory of Makadi there are two discos, the Sunflower restaurant, a bar / restaurant by the large pool, a beach bar and a small bass, lobby bar / terrace, Cafe Blue, Chez Fritz beer bar, Samakino fish restaurant, Sofra oriental restaurant, Nino Italian restaurant , shisha bar, many mini shops with souvenirs and various things, there is a supermarket.

Large and comfortable rooms, there are standard, 1-2-3 room, spacious, which have a shower, washbasin, toilet - in the bathroom, there is a hairdryer, toiletries, a set of towels, bathrobe and slippers, floor - ceramic coating, rugs by the bed, balcony/terrace, different size from 6 to 12 sq. m. , TV/Russian channel 2 or 3 through Ukraine, telephone, individual air conditioning with remote control, refrigerator – it is also a mini-bar (empty), safe in the room. Furnishing is different depending on the type of room and the number of tourists. On the balcony or terrace - wicker chairs and a low table.

Rooms are cleaned twice daily, towels are also changed on request.
All kinds of animals are woven from towels as a sign of their hospitality and of course many vacationers leave a couple of pounds in a tip.

The hotel has a room near the reception where you can use a computer and access the Internet (30 minutes free of charge - if all inclusive).

The view from the rooms - to the garden, to the pools, to the neighboring hotel (on the sea - no), everything is quiet and calm.

The service was top notch. It was not for nothing and not in vain that so-called managers of European origin walked over the Arabs. The staff is friendly, there was no bias towards the Russians, they are always ready to help.
Attendants: cleaners of rooms, territory, pools, waiters, etc. were afraid to raise their heads and look in your direction, and there was no question of harassment in the Arabic style. The waiters and the restaurant itself were in the national attire of those countries whose cuisine was represented that evening.

I have never experienced any inconvenience in the service, and in restaurants, drinks or other things that you order were always before you start eating.
The food is varied, there has always been poultry, beef, fish, meat on a spit, grilled, as they say, with different sauces.

Huge number of pastries and sweets. Various salads and just vegetables. Fruits (oranges, apples, guava, mangoes, pineapples, watermelon, bananas, melons, peaches .. ) and also various dried fruits. Rice, potatoes, spaghetti to choose from and different flavors. There was more than enough. For all tastes for the most capricious and gourmets. Freshly squeezed juices from orange, strawberry, banana, mango, guava. And of course, the most important thing for children and not only is ice cream in an unlimited number.

The beach is certainly not 3 meters from the hotel, but you need to walk min. 7, it's even useful and you understand it on the second day after breakfast. There are enough sun loungers on the beach and by the pools and at any time there are free ones with a choice of a place under the sun or not.

In general, I briefly described everything, then how it was until the fall of 2006.

Once again we came to Iberotel Saraya at the end of August 2006.
, of course, we were greeted as regular customers and even if you (we) have a standard room for 2 persons, we were provided with better conditions. And as is customary with fruit, wine, flowers in the room. But after some time of stay, we began to realize that there were some changes compared to the last time we stayed there. They explained to us that the management at the hotel and some rules have changed, but this did not bother us, we were treated well.

We had a great rest, then there was no animation in the hotel for the children of Russian tourists, and at the meeting we made a big request to organize a Russian children's club. When leaving, we were sure that such a chain of hotels, and such a system developed by time, cannot collapse and everything will fall into place.
We have always advertised and advised our acquaintances and friends this charming place.

BUT what happened? This year I went again in the hope and even with confidence that everything is fine.

But already on the bus I heard, “Do not be upset, but everything has not changed for the better, I warn you, because this is not your first time at the hotel” - this was told to me by a guide from MOSTREVEL. The question is why MOSTREVEL does nothing, why it does not solve problems. Everything has changed and not for the better, and I can say that now the hotel, despite the territory for service, food and attitude, is rated 3 with a stretch and I'm VERY SORRY. I am very sorry that MOSTREVEL does not track such moments and does not present TRAVKO claims as a German tour operator.

Why such a bad attitude towards our tourists. Drinks in a restaurant at breakfast, lunch or dinner can be waited until the end of patience, or simply many leave without waiting. The hotel staff themselves say that this will be the case as long as your side is silent. In this hotel, as explained again, the management has changed, and many of the staff have gone to other hotels themselves. One tourist from Russia wanted to leave on the second day and expressed his claims to the guide from Mostrevel, and he replied that he could not help in any way. And the funny thing is that in the last stay with the ALL system, all rooms had bath accessories, bathrobes and slippers. All these are trifles, but believe me, the hotel has changed a lot and not for the better.

I think so, if a human, normal service is only for the Germans, and for us only formally on the info site and at our expense, Mostrevel occupies one of the first places in terms of the company's scale and probably in terms of turnover too.
It seems to me that it is time to take some measures in relation to such things as the discrepancy between price and quality and why, when concluding an agreement with a travel agency, we are not insured against anything.


How long can the situation go back to normal, I'm talking about transferring flights when departing from Moscow, our flight was delayed by 4.30.
