I want to warn you right away, if you are told that the hotel is youthful and cheerful - DO NOT BELIEVE! Youth was a maximum of 3% of all vacationers. Mostly grandmothers, grandfathers, and families with children rest.
Rested with my girlfriend in this hotel from 06/22/11 to 07/06/11. Tour operator - Pegas Touristik. We chose the hotel carefully and, of course, relied on the reviews of tourists. But having visited this hotel, I now very much doubt that most of all these reviews are left by tourists.
Immediately I would like to express dissatisfaction with the work of the hotel guide Yulia Dudenko (Pegas Turistik). How many times have we rested abroad, but we have never met such an impudent, tactless and ill-mannered guide. She is not interested in anything other than selling sightseeing tours. On the first day, she will scare you and tell you that it is scary and dangerous everywhere and will simply brazenly sell her excursions. On the beach they offer all the same excursions, only twice as cheap. We took a boat trip on the beach (Utopia Island), quad biking, went shopping in Hurghada by taxi, saved $ 130. So if you have extra money, then Yulia is for you, she is ready to earn on YOU from the very morning until late in the evening. And if you have any questions, she will tell you: "Here, buy a tour from me, then I will answer. "
The general impression is that we arrived in the evening, around 18:00, went into the hotel, it seems cool, the design is not bad, nice furniture in the lobby, etc. In short, at first glance the hotel is not bad, but as it turned out later - everything else in this hotel is a weak C grade.
Our settlement passed with a fight. We initially bought the standard and wanted to live in the main building, while we knew that nothing was being done for free and were ready to pay extra. But at the reception we were told that the hotel was almost 100% full and there were no available rooms in the main building. In the end, they gave us room 706, they said that this is one of the best rooms in the hotel, new, with a good view, etc. But at the same time, the reception did not forget to say that if everything suits us and pleases us, then they will be happy to receive a gift from us. We took the keys and went to look at the room. Seven-hundredth numbers they were right behind the amphitheater where the animation takes place. In principle, it is not far from the main canteen, and even to the sea of norms. We went into the room, indeed the room was spacious, brand new. We went out onto the terrace and saw the light (((a construction site is going on right in front of the nose, they are building the same building, only a little lower level. We didn’t like it right away... we didn’t want to live for 15 days near the construction site. We were just in shock !! ! This has never happened before... In the end, after talking in raised tones with the reception staff and tears of my girlfriend, they deigned to find us a room in the main building. If you want to live without livestock in the room, do not take a room on the first floor! As it turned out, many people who lived on the first floor complained about ants and all living creatures .
The territory of the hotel is not small. Of course, there is not much greenery, but everything is more or less well-groomed.
Food is a whole different story. It seems to be there, but everything is so foul and monotonous that after three days I didn’t even want to look at food. The main restaurant, as they call it, you can't call it except a canteen. For all the time of the rest, we came to the canteen not to eat, but to get our own food! There is always a queue everywhere. No service at the canteen at all. The waiters do nothing. I had to move the dirty dishes myself to go beg for a fork and knife and eat like in a pigsty. And maybe in 20 minutes the waiter will come up and take away the dirty dishes. Sparrows fly around the dining room, flies are everywhere, if something falls on the floor or spills, no one will wipe it up. After a few days of staying at the hotel, stomach problems started from food, my girlfriend got very poisoned by crabs, so be careful with seafood !!!
No animation, like food in the canteen, tired after three days. There was no positive and good mood from them. The evening animation program began to be repeated in a week, the same numbers, only in a different order. At the same time, there are already 10 people in the animation team.
The beach at the hotel is really nice! Entrance - sand, no special shoes required. You can safely go barefoot and swim. on both sides of the lagoon there are coral reefs, you can dive and see the fish. As for the sun loungers on the beach, it is almost impossible to find them in the morning. Everything is occupied with towels, but there are no people. At the same time, the rules on the beach say that it is impossible to occupy sun loungers with towels. Beachboys on the beach seem to be there, but if you need something, then you can’t find them. Beer on the beach is served in reusable plastic glasses. The glasses are just awful!! ! Washing glasses is something, they just rinse them.
The hotel staff is arrogant, offered to buy drugs more than once, so be prepared for this!
I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family!! !
