Прекрасная бухта. A wonderful bay.

First of all, I want to say that this is not the first or even the tenth time in Egypt. I was in Hurghada once (my first visit to Egypt 17 years ago), in Taba and Dahab once and many times in Sharm el-Sheikh. In Sharm, after the Savoy, Sheraton, Hyatt hotels, we found the best beach in Reef Oasis. There is a cozy bay Ras um el Sid (4 hotels in this bay) and even if the wind does not blow there and there are no waves, the underwater coral gardens and living creatures are simply amazing! But after the tenth annual visit, I wanted to change something. But there is no better place in the charm. Generally long wanted to Marsa Alam. But we were afraid of the long road from Hurghada, and since last year, planes began to fly from Kyiv directly to Marsa. Yes, and we went to Cairo 17 years ago, and Luxor was far from charm, but the dream remained : ) we chose a hotel for a long time. The priority was a beach with a house reef and a lagoon so that neither the wind nor the waves (they are very strong from November to March and in other hotels hang out a red flag and do not allow them to swim in the sea and send them to the pools) did not spoil my vacation. I love swimming in the sea and not in a chlorinated pool. We opted for Braika Royal. Immediately upon arrival at the airport, we bought a Vodafone card for 12 GB for $ 10 (5 card + 5 replenishment) we always do this and we were not mistaken in the hotel Wi-Fi is expensive and weak. We were immediately picked up and taken to the hotel with other tourists in our own hotel. At the entrance, everyone was greeted with cold, damp snow-white towels and a cold drink of hibiscus. Pleasantly surprised. The keys for the rooms were already prepared, although it was only about 10 am and the check-in was officially at 2 pm. I did not like the room, there was some kind of unpleasant smell. Returning to the reception, she asked to change the room (after putting a small gratitude in the envelope -10 magical $), they gave out new keys. The room had a fabulous view of the bay. After settling in, we went to explore the area. Very green territory, (a lot of gardeners worked) everything is blooming, well-groomed, clean. The territory is common for two hotels, Braika Bay and Braika Royal. General not only the territory but also animation, SPA and sports center, diving center. The only thing is that each hotel has its own restaurant and the side of the beach. Braika Royal on the right side of the lagoon (the lagoon is more picturesque : ))) if you look at the sea. The sunbeds and umbrellas are the same, but the towels are different for the royale, yellow for the bay, and blue. The only thing I liked more about the Braika Bay hotel was the interior inside the restaurant (more light). The food is the same here and there. Diverse. There is always meat and fish, soups are different. I really liked the abundance of guava fruits, persimmons, oranges, pomegranates, melons, apples, dates, pears (I don’t eat sweets and there were many different ones) and there are a lot of all kinds of side dishes. Enjoyed delicious lasagna and stew. On the street in the evening there was fish and meat on the grill. The food is of very good quality. The best of all my trips to Egypt. That's just for the mango went to Marsa Alam separately. Mango in Egypt is the most delicious in the world!! ! Truth! The season is October-December. 1.5$ per kg. Even breakfast with you from our hotel (compared on an excursion to Luxor was the most voluminous and delicious : ) But we drove across the sea, and the sea is beyond praise! In our lagoon we swam with an eagle ray, it soared so beautifully!! ! We saw octopuses and moray eels. We used to watch from the hotel to the right and there we met a turtle, I managed to dive and touch the shell !!! ! Delight!! ! The staff at the hotel is very friendly! There was no persimmon in the restaurant of our hotel, but there was in the next one, I asked the cook who was in the hall about it, he didn’t understand what I wanted, showed me a picture, he brought me a full plate of persimmon and said that in Arabic it’s cocoa. After that, every evening he made sure that there was “kaka” on my table : ))) and said that I would take the rest on a plate to my room. Since dinner was from six in the evening, then by eight, after walking around the vast territory of both hotels (there is nowhere else to go, Marsa Alam is 20 km away, and even there is nothing to do there, even a diver who has no normal store, and around the desert), on the balcony in a room with a view of the sea and the path of the hotel lights, we enjoyed fruit very well.
