Turd and the sea - this is what my review would look like if I wrote it after the first day of my stay at the hotel.

Since Marsa Alam is rarely visited by Ukrainian tourists, it is probably worth starting the story from the airport. The airport is private, small, upon arrival, in addition to our plane, I saw another local airline. Arrival, customs clearance, etc. are very calm without the usual crush of Sharma or Hurghada at the exit from the airport, there is a semblance of a dutik. In general, everything is ok here, the guides are a little unorganized, but this does not create discomfort. Pharmacies do not have internet cards either (maybe covid yet). On the way, they threw tourists into the Hilton and the Three Corners of the Felrose, here I tensed up a little, both of these hotels look quite shabby although they are in the top five resorts on Mars. The guide insistently tells that this is a resort for Europeans (it strained me) with a hint that we are honored to be here about I think it will probably be cool. He offered Internet cards for $20 for 15 gigs (not the biggest price in the end). Seeing that the child was going, he brought dry rations to the baby (this is personally from him). In general, everything, as always.

Upon arrival, I was a little surprised by the small hall, but remembering the past hotels, I thought the chip of marsa alam.
Very quickly settled in for 15 minutes (arrived at about 9). You will need words in English here, there are two Russian-speaking or Ukrainian-speaking people in the hotel, a photographer in a break and a guy selling tours. Glancing over the area, I was a little ahrinel, not at all the resort that I painted in my fantasies after reading the reviews and watching the video. Next was the number. here surprise number two awaited me, I will say this was the worst room in which I have ever stayed, worse, although not the fact it is Seth George in Sharm or Emerald Golden Five in Hurghada, I left these hotels without hesitation. There is no soap, shampoo, gel, or rather there is soap, but you will smear it in some crap nailed to the wall and then wash it off. Toilet paper had to be asked. Then I was not at all sure that I would stay in this hotel, and my redneck played a bad joke that I did not buy an Internet card from the guide. Connected Kyivstar and went to breakfast, at least I'll try the food. Here surprise number three awaited me, the dining room. It is the dining room because it can hardly be called otherwise. Already stupidly angry, he went to watch the morning set of dishes near the counter and saw colleagues on arrival who were no less shocked than me and looked at the meager amount of food in front of us. Breakfast was standard scrambled pancakes and something like muesli.
The food turned out to be delicious, already in the afternoon I tried more dishes and some were not homemade but tasty enough, which I have not seen anywhere in Egypt, and it turned out that there are delicious tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, mayonnaise. But as soon as they try to cook something, especially on the grill, it’s a bummer, but on the first day the food seemed delicious to me, the goulash was just almost like home. This stopped my desire to leave a bit. I went to look at the territory and then I began to understand that this hotel had not been working for quite a long time. In itself, well thought out, it just looked terrible without people. Thank God there is Braika Bay nearby (Royal Braika and Braika Bay are under the control of one person). As we were first explained that you can swim, walk, attend programs and bars, sunbeds, etc. only your hotel. But I didn't care about their bans.
The sea - it is for him that they go to Egypt, having walked around the territory and calling their operator with a request to see the tours for which you can change the hotel, he decided to plunge into the underwater world, he was even more upset (I must say that there was a strong wind and a storm) the world of mars alama is much richer hotel reefs of sharma (for obvious reasons, hurghada is not worth mentioning at all), but it is also hardly worth comparing it with growing mohamed. In general, the best hotel reef I have seen, but according to reviews, a dugong with whiskey and turtles should have been waiting for me underwater. ))) But there are really a lot of fish, they are very large, stingrays, lionfish octopuses, all this is in abundance. I didn’t see turtles in Braika Bay, they shouted that a shark was sailing (I didn’t see it either) You need to be careful with lionfish and they like to swim aground, you can accidentally step on. In general, I repeat, this is not Ros Mohamed, but it is very beautiful.

After monitoring a few reviews about the hotels that I was offered to go to, I realized that in order to get to know Mars, it was necessary to take a tour from two hotels, everyone recommends Braik, but the world of tourism before and after covid is very different, it is in the top of all reviews and only loses in comparison Hilton (I saw him from the outside) and Jazz (Albatross has not yet been considered because it was windy) decided to walk around the territory again to wait for dinner and swell. I forgot to describe the beach a little, remember Soviet sanatoriums with wooden, shabby sunbeds, poorly painted mushrooms? Yes, this is it, the beach that you will see. I will not write about cleaning the beach, by the end of the holiday it was a cut above, so we will write it off for the opening of the hotel.
For dinner, I scored on everyone and went to the break, the food is almost the same, but the presentation, atmosphere, pleasant little things affect a lot. After dinner, there was a rather interesting program, after the program, lights out at 11, I also walked around the territory and the breaks and the piano, the territory is very beautiful at night, good lighting, you can’t see the little things that hurt the eyes during the day, there is where to walk in general at night I liked the hotel.
The next day, a meeting with the guide, everything is as always, but very unobtrusively, there is no rudeness, I bought an Internet card for 10 gig from him and it was enough for me to watch movies, the price is 15 USD. e. I forgot to say that there is no Wi-Fi there, so don't count. I went to the beach, monitored the hotels and realized that I had to pay another 250 min. That is, plus the move and it’s not clear where to go, I’d better stay here and go to Braika.
The weather improved from the pontoon, you could see octopus rays, lionfish, snakes, besides other fish, but still the breeze blew, then I came across the first Russian-speaking Egyptian, I naturally interrogated the seller of photos with passion, it turned out that the hotel opened four days ago, that when the wind is better to go to the beach of breaks and although there is no pantone there, it is very comfortable (I didn’t lie), and when it’s hot, it’s better in Royal (also true). Animation has been only in Braika so far, Slavic languages ​ ​ are not yet understood, although Ukrainians are about 30 percent. But good guys are trying very hard, there are many programs for children, in general, everything is buzzing with this. There is a volleyball, throwing a ball, tennis (with dead rackets, but there is) to do something to eat if you are tired of drinking and swimming. Speaking of drinking, booze, as always in Egypt, but the drinks are not bad, Cola Fanta Sprite Tonic (exactly the tonic that I have not seen anywhere in Egypt) bottled. There are not small glasses at the bars, you won’t run often, the service is also quite up to par. There are strawberries for 3 euros (delicious) in general, everything is ok with this part.

The seller of the tours came, at first I treated him as in charm with Hurghada, plus I had read that the dugongs were no longer in Marsa Alam, in general it was cool, but I asked him regularly about the hotel and about everything he could, turned out to be a nice guy, unfortunately he didn’t give me tours, but they don’t do it, in the end I didn’t go and he was left without income (the difference with the prices from the guide the dugong for the whole day is 80 for the guy 50 but is not inferior) Speaking of the cow tour, who went VERY happy swam with he and the whole evening spoiled my mood with their satisfied faces))) In general, remember that bargaining is difficult, but the guy almost truthfully tells about the tour and advises his name, I don’t remember.
In the evening, the program is again very good, already in the Royal, as I understand it, the day is loud in the break, the day is in the royal, really, you need to look for where the location is today, such an evening quest. The number no longer annoyed me so much, for Italians it’s generally normal (by the way, I looked at the numbers in the break, too, not the first freshness), in general, I began to like it. There was not enough coffee, but there is some muck, although there are coffee machines of a good level almost everywhere.
It seems on the third day I remembered that there are slides somewhere, they are at the very end of the royal bay, there are four slides, I went off the straight lines without problems, but I got stuck on the circular ones) I had to jump on the train almost to the bottom, it doesn’t work for me stopped and I climbed into the pipe, first showing the duty officer with gestures to see if I was lunging and if not, let him take a fatter fry and throw it after me, thank God it flew by. In general, some kind of chaos reigned on the slides, the attendant was very loyal to the children on the slide, they drove two people at a time, he lowered the small ones on himself, in general, without straining, very positive emotions, they directly reminded me of my childhood. True, if you PUSH it, I really don’t recommend letting the child in there, they can’t beat it, but they’ll definitely beat it.
By the way, about the staff, rules, etc. the hotel is not a network hotel, the staff is not well-trained but very loyal, smiling, generally positive, when it tells something, nothing is clear but very interesting) In general, there are no complaints about the staff, if not to find fault, even in places they were very pleased.
Here I probably need to say about cleaning, it is now every three days, we were cleaned every day, the guy tried to change towels and bedding only on request.

Here is another fly in the ointment, from snacks, only butrics, who knows where. It's generally bad.
Little by little the hotel came to life and it got better, many new people arrived, it became not so deserted. I understood where it is best to watch the fish, I found a pantone outside the territory, I found crabs on a nearby beach, a neighboring bay with turtles, in general, in general, I had a good rest, especially in terms of price-quality ratio, with a direct flight, the ticket cost 19.000 if the price was 30.000 as usual, I would nervous. If you are ready to put up with a not very good number, you will understand that this is not a charm, but it also has the right to a vacation option, I think you will like it, if you are counting on a EUROPEAN vacation option, then I'm afraid you will not like it.
