1. We drove purposefully to Marsa Alam from across the sea.
2. The hotel was chosen because of the price-proximity ratio to Hurghada airport.
3. Four of us flew to rest. (Two pairs).
4. Tez Tour met on a minibus, normally arrived 2.5 hours before the hotel.
5. Settled quickly, next to, as requested, a balcony overlooking the sea, without any surcharges.
6. During the entire stay at the hotel there were a maximum of 40 people. At first I was upset, I thought that they would feed poorly, it would be boring, and then I felt the whole buzz of low population: almost an individual vacation. We were told that a lot of people come only at Easter and Christmas and New Year, mostly Italians and Germans. When we were there, there were 6 Italians, 2 Germans, the rest were ours. However, every evening there was animation and then a disco.

7. The food was very good, for lunch and dinner there was always fish, chicken, and perfectly cooked beef, vegetables, side dishes, there was enough of everything, and everything was very well and tasty cooked. Fruit, however, was only chopped, I really like watermelons, but they just didn’t exist. There were dates, guava, grapes, bananas, oranges, pomegranates. They even gave me ice cream once. In the bar near the pool, people drank beer from 8 am, alcohol was free until 12 am.
8. Very pleasant staff, friendly and unobtrusive.
9. The beach is big, the boy always came running, brought mattresses. The sea and living creatures in it are different from Sharm and Hurghada. There are remnants of the reef right in the shallow water, near them there are a lot of fish of all kinds, large and small. Special shoes are definitely needed (they are sold in a store near the reception), by the end of the term they were so torn that they had to be thrown away. BUT! It is very windy, because of this there is a big wave, it is scary to go to the reef. There were 3 days of calm, a strong ebb (full moon), that's when we came off. Walk to the reef, and there....Beauty unspeakable. So many fish and such I have not seen anywhere else in Egypt. But! Only 3 days! It seems that it is necessary to study the dependence of the tides on the phases of the moon, they say that it was also quiet on the new moon. There are 2 pontoons, we went there to swim, but we had to walk 800-1000 meters, sometimes it was lazy to go in the heat. Nearby is the 5 * Akassia hotel, so they made a type of pool right in the sea (they cut down a reef, it seems), a sandy bottom, people swim in masks and just like that. But it’s too lazy to walk, and it’s boring, we adapted to swim at home. If you look from the shore, you can see where the water is bluer, deeper there, and they went there. But it’s also better to go in with a mask, you know where to put your foot, the remains of the reef are everywhere, so the slippers were torn. Right on the beach we had a moray eel living in the stones, a lionfish without one wing, stingrays immeasurably and of different colors swam right under our feet. In the evening, with a flashlight, they went to shoot crabs and hermits. Well, and a lot more.
10. By the way, when we went to "Akassia", I checked out our uncrowded vacation. All the sunbeds on the beach were occupied, people crawling around the hotel like ants near an anthill, despite the fact that they were told at the reception that the hotel was half full. But what about when it's full?

11. There is definitely nothing to do with children there, although a couple of children were there all the time. True, and here there is a positive moment. Children of 7-8 years old went everywhere absolutely independently, there were few people, the staff looked after them all the time. For several days I could not identify the parents of one girl, so they were in different modes. So there, even on vacation with children, you can get complete relaxation.
12. For the first time in all our trips to Egypt, we came across a sane Tezturovsky hotel guide, polite and pleasant. Somehow it happened that for all the years of trips to Turkey and Egypt, we always got on Tez Tour, so I already got the impression that they specially select hotel guides who are insane, ill-mannered and indifferent. But, finally, lucky. All issues were resolved instantly. Thanks Mohammed.
13. The advertisement for the hotel promised pizza between breakfast and lunch, and pasta for afternoon tea. There was none of this. The bar had tea and coffee all day. And that's it. And I need to eat every 2-3 hours. They told Muhammad that the next day there were buns after breakfast, biscuits for an afternoon snack. I would like something more substantial, well, at least so.
14. About excursions: we went to Luxor, a good excursion, to go closer from Hurghada (I’m not a fan of antiquity, and riding a bus tires me), but the sellers at all parking lots are so intrusive that I didn’t even want to get off the bus, they were so annoying . In addition, we went to Adu Dabab with divers (the German dive center is located next to the hotel). The divers dived, and I swam above them with a mask, I saw turtles at both sites, both large and medium and small. I liked it, and the people who traveled with Tez Tour complained that there were a lot of people.
15. My husband is a diver, in fact, he commands where and when we go. According to him, the dive is very interesting, the shooting is really superb, they were taken to show the manatee, sharks. The dive costs 20-30% more than in Sharm and Hurghada, but the service is different. There are no more than 10 divers on the boat, while in Sharm they take so many people on the boat that there is nowhere to sit. They help you get dressed, the balloons are full, etc. Well, who cares, it's better to talk to him.
I think our vacation was a success. If there is anything else you are interested in, please ask.
