4. Tez Tour met on a minibus, normally arrived 2.5 hours before the hotel.
5. Settled quickly, next to, as requested, a balcony overlooking the sea, without any surcharges.
6. During the entire stay at the hotel there were a maximum of 40 people. At first I was upset, I thought that they would feed poorly, it would be boring, and then I felt the whole buzz of low population: almost an individual vacation. We were told that a lot of people come only at Easter and Christmas and New Year, mostly Italians and Germans. When we were there, there were 6 Italians, 2 Germans, the rest were ours. However, every evening there was animation and then a disco.
7. The food was very good, for lunch and dinner there was always fish, chicken, and perfectly cooked beef, vegetables, side dishes, there was enough of everything, and everything was very well and tasty cooked. Fruit, however, was only chopped, I really like watermelons, but they just didn’t exist. There were dates, guava, grapes, bananas, oranges, pomegranates. They even gave me ice cream once. In the bar near the pool, people drank beer from 8 am, alcohol was free until 12 am.
8. Very pleasant staff, friendly and unobtrusive.
9. The beach is big, the boy always came running, brought mattresses. The sea and living creatures in it are different from Sharm and Hurghada. There are remnants of the reef right in the shallow water, near them there are a lot of fish of all kinds, large and small. Special shoes are definitely needed (they are sold in a store near the reception), by the end of the term they were so torn that they had to be thrown away. BUT! It is very windy, because of this there is a big wave, it is scary to go to the reef. There were 3 days of calm, a strong ebb (full moon), that's when we came off. Walk to the reef, and there....Beauty unspeakable. So many fish and such I have not seen anywhere else in Egypt. But! Only 3 days! It seems that it is necessary to study the dependence of the tides on the phases of the moon, they say that it was also quiet on the new moon. There are 2 pontoons, we went there to swim, but we had to walk 800-1000 meters, sometimes it was lazy to go in the heat. Nearby is the 5 * Akassia hotel, so they made a type of pool right in the sea (they cut down a reef, it seems), a sandy bottom, people swim in masks and just like that. But it’s too lazy to walk, and it’s boring, we adapted to swim at home. If you look from the shore, you can see where the water is bluer, deeper there, and they went there. But it’s also better to go in with a mask, you know where to put your foot, the remains of the reef are everywhere, so the slippers were torn. Right on the beach we had a moray eel living in the stones, a lionfish without one wing, stingrays immeasurably and of different colors swam right under our feet. In the evening, with a flashlight, they went to shoot crabs and hermits. Well, and a lot more.
10. By the way, when we went to "Akassia", I checked out our uncrowded vacation. All the sunbeds on the beach were occupied, people crawling around the hotel like ants near an anthill, despite the fact that they were told at the reception that the hotel was half full. But what about when it's full?
11. There is definitely nothing to do with children there, although a couple of children were there all the time. True, and here there is a positive moment. Children of 7-8 years old went everywhere absolutely independently, there were few people, the staff looked after them all the time. For several days I could not identify the parents of one girl, so they were in different modes. So there, even on vacation with children, you can get complete relaxation.
12. For the first time in all our trips to Egypt, we came across a sane Tezturovsky hotel guide, polite and pleasant. Somehow it happened that for all the years of trips to Turkey and Egypt, we always got on Tez Tour, so I already got the impression that they specially select hotel guides who are insane, ill-mannered and indifferent. But, finally, lucky. All issues were resolved instantly. Thanks Mohammed.
13. The advertisement for the hotel promised pizza between breakfast and lunch, and pasta for afternoon tea. There was none of this. The bar had tea and coffee all day. And that's it. And I need to eat every 2-3 hours. They told Muhammad that the next day there were buns after breakfast, biscuits for an afternoon snack. I would like something more substantial, well, at least so.
14. About excursions: we went to Luxor, a good excursion, to go closer from Hurghada (I’m not a fan of antiquity, and riding a bus tires me), but the sellers at all parking lots are so intrusive that I didn’t even want to get off the bus, they were so annoying . In addition, we went to Adu Dabab with divers (the German dive center is located next to the hotel). The divers dived, and I swam above them with a mask, I saw turtles at both sites, both large and medium and small. I liked it, and the people who traveled with Tez Tour complained that there were a lot of people.
15. My husband is a diver, in fact, he commands where and when we go. According to him, the dive is very interesting, the shooting is really superb, they were taken to show the manatee, sharks. The dive costs 20-30% more than in Sharm and Hurghada, but the service is different. There are no more than 10 divers on the boat, while in Sharm they take so many people on the boat that there is nowhere to sit. They help you get dressed, the balloons are full, etc. Well, who cares, it's better to talk to him.
I think our vacation was a success. If there is anything else you are interested in, please ask.

We went there because we decided at the last moment, but there was no choice. The hotel is weak. The kitchen. . . so-so. Of course, you won't leave hungry, but they don't know how to cook. You could eat pasta and chicken. Problems with baking. Fruit too. In the sea, you must have special shoes. It cannot be said that it is completely bad. … More ▾ We went there because we decided at the last moment, but there was no choice. The hotel is weak. The kitchen. . . so-so. It cannot be said that it is completely bad... But if there is a choice, then in Egypt you cannot go less than 4+. This hotel. . . well, if you like 70s Adler, then this is it. What they called SPA and massage, I will not advise anyone. They do not know how to do massage, and they are not at all familiar with the sanitary conditions in this so-called SPA center. Although the staff is very helpful. But it is better to spend a little more money and go to a better hotel.

I decided to write a review because there is very, very little information about this hotel. There is something to compare with, in Egypt, 9-10 times. How are things at Carnelia today. . . There is something to compare with, in Egypt, 9-10 times.
How are things at Carnelia today. . .
Arrived in Hurghada, approximately at 14:00, put on the bus, the road is not tiring, about 2.5 hours.
The hotel is located between El Quseir and Marsa Alam.
On the way, they brought tourists to one hotel.
We arrived... it's dark... the state of the reception immediately alerted))) very, very modest.
Further, looked around, understood, this is only a dressing room.
The settlement went quickly and without bribes.
Bungalow, second floor, the room is very modest, but you did not come to sit in the room.
The balcony overlooked the pool and garden. In the morning it turned out that the sea can be seen very well! In general, as they say Sea View.
In principle, I think that in this hotel almost all the rooms are equivalent and there is no point in giving a "paw".
We went to look around, immediately met a couple with whom we were traveling on the bus.
We spent the whole holiday together.
The hotel is not big, there are not many people, it is quite comfortable.
The territory is greener and more beautiful than in the presented photos.
Food for 4+, the choice is not huge, but everything is fresh and tasty!
The chef, Italian Giuseppe, a young, cheerful guy, tries very hard, approaches everyone, asks if it's tasty.
4 times in a week there were crabs, they collected a plate and sat under a beer))), on the veranda... mmmmmm.
The animation is almost all in Italian, although there were 60 percent of Russians.
For the evening show 2 points, although they try (selectively 5 points).
Morning and afternoon (sports) animation 4 points. Aqua Gym, Boccia, Darts, Volleyball, etc. but there aren't many who want it.
Periodically discos, in a Bedouin tent (hookah) or in a bar on the beach.
Drinks, in principle, normal 4 points. There are no normal cocktails.
Bottled beer, sometimes wine too. Coffee, cappuccino, espresso. . . from the coffee machine, free of charge.
The sea is a separate issue.
There is no sandy entry, only in a nearby hotel, where you can easily walk along the coast.
Loungers are everywhere.
On the right and left of the hotel beach, 500 meters from the pontoons, you can dive from them.
For snorkelers this is heaven.
We saw octopuses and stingrays and a bunch of fish, large and small, whose names I don’t know.
Very beautiful reef, Sharm and especially Hurghada, resting!
Be careful, there are a lot of sharp corals and stones, all the special slippers were torn. )))
In general, if you don’t be picky and don’t look for flaws, the hotel and the rest in it, on a solid 4, maybe even with a plus)))
There will be questions, I will be happy to answer.

In Egypt, since 96, there have been ten times. They took vouchers on 08.11 11.11, there were only 4 offers, after looking at the ratings and reviews, they chose from the worst, as it seemed to me the best. From the beginning about the norm: try to fly to the Airport In Marse Alam, it is quite European, there is no market like in Hurghada, especially the place for smokers is huge, armchairs, not like in the Domodedovo aquarium - some kind of corral (it is necessary to fight smoking, but not in the same way), transfer from 15 minutes to an hour, in the spring we traveled from Hurghada to Mars for 4 hours, unfortunately so far the charter is only in May and November, The food, as always in Egypt, is normal and, most importantly, natural without the nasty things of modern GIMO, etc . … More ▾ In Egypt, since 96, there have been ten times. Eggs like we have in the village, the chef is Italian, the score is 4 points. Stella beer -4 points, wine -3 points. Cleaning - 3 points. Corals and ecology score -5 points “after Pattaya just Paradise”, one of the best in Hurghada and Mars, the territory is normal, the score is 4 points. The entrance to the sea is bad, shallow, and when the wind, you won’t reach the corals and the depth, but it’s almost everywhere in Mars, but there are 3 pontoons, one on the territory of Cornelia and two in the Akassia shvis hotel, the wall is 5m and more. I saw and watched a shark and a moray eel for 15-20 minutes, no comments needed. The attitude in bars towards people from the CIS is bad, without "Thai" smiles. In many respects, we ourselves are to blame for this, the low everyday cultural level, language and international rules of conduct, the majority does not know.
They require ice or an empty glass, etc. they do not understand what they want, conflicts arise. It would never occur to anyone in England or Europe to demand that they understand Russian. About Russian weakness, and so it is clear... People, understand that all Russians suffer because of this.
There is a shuttle to El Quseir for 7 euros round trip, 25 km. That's a plus, taxis are not cheap.
But the sea and corals cover all the negativity, in which you are not to blame.
On the second day, they wanted to move to another hotel, but they dissuaded me, they came only for a week, I didn’t want to strain. Yes, there is no animation, absolutely mediocre, and primitive, as I read in the reviews before arrival.
I recommend an excursion on a yacht to Port Ghalib. Dolphins accompany you to the sea for 15 minutes, then the dolphins swim back to escort the next yacht. The guide, however, says that this does not always happen. Should be lucky. All tourists have a wild childish delight, an unforgettable sight, one of the amazing impressions. Next They showed a tortoise which is 300 years old, “a meeting with eternity”, as you would think that it was born under Peter 1….
Arabs in Mars are not obtrusive even in shops, without the need to climb with greetings like hello bro, etc.
And so the decision on Cornelia is up to you, which is more important, the sea or the service.

If not, consider the vacation spoiled.
Sea: the approach from the shore is terrible. Spiny corals, many deep sea urchin crevasses everywhere (if stepped on, the temperature is guaranteed for several days), even if you have special slippers, the surf can knock you off your feet. The pier is quite far away. Walking barefoot to it (5-10 minutes) along the sandy path was a pleasure for us, but again - not for everybody. An incredible number of fish, very different and beautiful. Many were simply afraid to swim. European tourists, who clearly knew where they were going, were all lovers of snorkeling and diving and admired lionfish, moray eels and stingrays and small barracudas, while ours were mostly afraid of them. There were sometimes more divers (this is a diving center, due to the rich flora and fauna) than swimmers. It was a pity for the children who could not calmly wallow anywhere.
Meals: the choice is small (only one row), but each dish is edible and tasty. Salads are few, but fresh and tasty, the same with meat and fish, a lot of fresh vegetables. The kitchen is focused on Italians (like the whole hotel, even the staff is not English, but Italian-speaking).
Animation Entertainment: during the day - excellent. Good friendly guys, always boccia, volleyball, water polo (fun games were Russia-Italy), football, stretching, water aerobics and dancing. Every half an hour something happens, friendly, but unobtrusive. Evening animation is frankly weak, except for the weekly "Arab night". I don’t know about the mini-club, but they say that the children were interested in it.
those Russian tourists who came to hang out, go to discos (which are not here) and walk around the city (which are not here) suffered. due to the fact that the hotel does not pass anywhere in the reviews, many went without knowing where they would end up, and went forever dissatisfied and bored.
location: in the desert. for sanitation and tranquility, this is good, but for party life - trouble. Italians and Germans all arrive at Marsa Alam Airport, 40 km away, and we arrive in Hurghada.
MAJOR MINUS: beer and wine are not included in the all inclusive package. You either have to buy a permanent bracelet for $10 a day, or you pay. As for paying, there are many petty Arab scams. For example, at first they said that tennis was paid, we paid for the first time, and then we went to play just like that, on the basis that they would come and we would pay on the spot. No one came and we played five more times. We realized that in fact tennis, as promised by the tour operator, is free. And there is a lot of that, just be careful with the staff in all financial matters. for example, we had to pay $120 at the check-out. many bills had been paid earlier in the bar in cash, many had frankly forwarded (twice!! ) figures. we understood why we were refused to pay in the evening. at night, when a full bus is waiting, you can’t argue especially.
in general, what we wanted - a relaxing holiday with a beautiful sea - we got
