Hotel ratings by criteria:
The hotel is good, provided if you need a quiet measured rest, full of sea discoveries and sports. If not, consider the vacation spoiled.
Sea: the approach from the shore is terrible. Spiny corals, many deep sea urchin crevasses everywhere (if stepped on, the temperature is guaranteed for several days), even if you have special slippers, the surf can knock you off your feet. The pier is quite far away. Walking barefoot to it (5-10 minutes) along the sandy path was a pleasure for us, but again - not for everybody. An incredible number of fish, very different and beautiful. Many were simply afraid to swim. European tourists, who clearly knew where they were going, were all lovers of snorkeling and diving and admired lionfish, moray eels and stingrays and small barracudas, while ours were mostly afraid of them. There were sometimes more divers (this is a diving center, due to the rich flora and fauna) than swimmers. It was a pity for the children who could not calmly wallow anywhere.
Meals: the choice is small (only one row), but each dish is edible and tasty. Salads are few, but fresh and tasty, the same with meat and fish, a lot of fresh vegetables. The kitchen is focused on Italians (like the whole hotel, even the staff is not English, but Italian-speaking).

Animation Entertainment: during the day - excellent. Good friendly guys, always boccia, volleyball, water polo (fun games were Russia-Italy), football, stretching, water aerobics and dancing. Every half an hour something happens, friendly, but unobtrusive. Evening animation is frankly weak, except for the weekly "Arab night". I don’t know about the mini-club, but they say that the children were interested in it.
those Russian tourists who came to hang out, go to discos (which are not here) and walk around the city (which are not here) suffered. due to the fact that the hotel does not pass anywhere in the reviews, many went without knowing where they would end up, and went forever dissatisfied and bored.
location: in the desert. for sanitation and tranquility, this is good, but for party life - trouble. Italians and Germans all arrive at Marsa Alam Airport, 40 km away, and we arrive in Hurghada.
MAJOR MINUS: beer and wine are not included in the all inclusive package. You either have to buy a permanent bracelet for $10 a day, or you pay. As for paying, there are many petty Arab scams. For example, at first they said that tennis was paid, we paid for the first time, and then we went to play just like that, on the basis that they would come and we would pay on the spot. No one came and we played five more times. We realized that in fact tennis, as promised by the tour operator, is free. And there is a lot of that, just be careful with the staff in all financial matters. for example, we had to pay $120 at the check-out. many bills had been paid earlier in the bar in cash, many had frankly forwarded (twice!! ) figures. we understood why we were refused to pay in the evening. at night, when a full bus is waiting, you can’t argue especially.
in general, what we wanted - a relaxing holiday with a beautiful sea - we got
