Traveled together with my husband, both for the first time in Egypt. We went on a trip spontaneously, so there was little time to choose a hotel, and not much money. The travel agency suggested this hotel and we were very worried about what it would turn out to be. . . Everyone read the reviews and was pleased that they were mostly positive, but the fear remained. . .
In short - what we expected from this hotel, we got 150%: a relaxing holiday, as little noise as possible, a large area and pools, good food, sand on the beach and corals with fish in the sea...
Of the minuses - only that in the last couple of days we got a little bored and wanted a change of scenery, although on the last day we still didn’t want to leave)))

Now more: we drove to the hotel from Hurghada airport. Our tour operator was Pegasus. We were put in a minibus (with air conditioning) and taken DIRECTLY to the hotel (without visiting any others). In the minibus, we met a couple of newlyweds who were given this ticket to the wedding. Then, throughout the rest we did a lot of things together and it was fun)). The journey took about 4 hours. We were mentally prepared for this and knew that a long road awaited us, but after 4.5 hours on the plane it turned out to be harder than I expected, but we can endure, especially since there is not only the sea and sands outside the window, but sometimes what cities and hotels, camels, ships. . .
We arrived at the hotel at 2pm. We were seated immediately. We did not pay extra for the room, knowing in advance that they are all the same. And so it was - we went into the room with friends who just asked for a good room because the newlyweds... as a result, our rooms were nearby and we could not find differences)) Lunch ended at 15-00, so we had time to calmly change and have lunch. Only later we read in the general information of the hotel that the check-out time on the day of arrival is 15-00. We were pleasantly surprised. )
The staff in general is very friendly and pleasant, they often joke, but with such a serious look that in the first days we thought that we were seriously not allowed to change towels or did not want to give a cocktail, and then we got used to their jokes, even began to make fun of ourselves in response above them))
They know very little Russian, be prepared for this. It only made us happy, we could practice our long-forgotten English. . .
It was very nice when on the first day the waiters and chefs personally suggested everything to us and seemed to have given us a tour of all the dishes, etc. where what is in the dining room. . . / on the 5th day of our holiday we heard the cries of indignation of our Russian, whom the waiters did not deign to approach, although HE came to the dining room and sat down at a table. . . I think it all depends on the attitude. . . We arrived with pleasant emotions and smiled at everyone at the meeting, in response to this we were helped and prompted... there were no problems. Commenting on that case, I would only like to remind you that this hotel provides a buffet, and not waiter service, although drinks were most often brought to us and brought to us already during our dinner or lunch. It was nice, although you could stand up and pour yourself a drink. /

Another point that both we and our friends encountered was that on the day of arrival, one person leads to show the room and asks for a tip (when we gave $ 1, it seemed to him that this was not enough and he gently hinted that the room was sooo good and give me more. . . we were somewhat shocked by such impudence, given that after him another person brings luggage and he, by definition, is also supposed to tip. . . But, in fact, this is all nonsense).
Rooms: very spacious and large. Large beds (we had two single beds, but together they were the size of 3-4 of our regular beds). By the way, it was nice that on the second day the cleaner, without our request and even without a tip (on the first day we were not up to it, but the next morning we quickly rushed to the beach, even forgetting about the tip to the cleaner) - he, in addition to cleaning, he moved our beds together. There is a free safe in the room. There was no theft. But we did not leave valuable things in a visible place (I would like to note that our friends brought seeds with them and somehow left an open pack in plain sight in the room....upon arrival it was not there... so, keep in mind that seeds are also a valuable thing that they hunt there; ))) In general, the presence of seeds then helped them to have a good relationship with some waiters and get cocktails for free, cat. were "special", i. e. for a fee). All rooms have a sea view, ours by chance turned out to be the closest to the sea of the rooms available in our building... The balcony is also large, neighboring rooms do not interfere with each other.
We did not exchange money for the local currency, we left tips for the cleaner in dollars, and we also made purchases in dollars.
On the territory of the hotel there are several shops - jewelry; souvenirs; there is also equipment for swimming and underwater photos, but although they are traded in Moscow, they are still cheaper. (for example, for a one-time underwater camera for 30 frames they asked for 30 bucks, although in Moscow my husband saw one for 500 rubles).

Meals: tea, coffee, various non-alcoholic drinks for breakfast. Sweets, if you wish, scrambled eggs and / or scrambled eggs and / or pancakes are fried right in front of you....I tried everything - and I was completely satisfied with everything)) Also, there are always vegetables for breakfast (cucumbers, tomatoes, olives), sausages (sometimes different types), boiled eggs, bread (very tasty, although roasting changes every day - with raisins, then with nuts... )... For lunch and dinner there are alcoholic drinks (they must be ordered from the bartender or waiter, they will bring to table). The food changed every day. Meat and fish have always been there. For a couple of days there was Egyptian cuisine (on the street, in addition to regular food, they made shawarma); once it was like a fish day - there was a huge fish that was cut and given out as much as they wanted; dishes of squid, octopuses and some other fish... Awesome sweets. Fruits: dates, oranges (didn't try), apples (delicious, hard red and yellow), melon (green, I was afraid to eat it, although I ate it and everything is ok), guava (I ate with the peel - I didn’t get poisoned), physalis, bananas a couple of days gave small and green. The children's table means chips, french fries and ipo chicken like from a rostix; ) my husband was very happy with such food! (As for food in general, I want to note that both my husband and I have stomachs that are quite sensitive to food, and usually at all resorts we suffered from poisoning for a couple of days. There was not even a hint of this here! ).
Pools: only 3 pools - children's (heated, there is a generation of water); heated adult (depth 1.5 m. ); unheated, cool, deep pool.
Beach: a huge beach + next to the territory is not fenced, you can walk... there are two entrances to the sea - one from Pantone immediately to the depth of the corals. The second smooth entrance on the sand, it is located on the right on the beach (we did not immediately understand and thought that we should stomp on the corals, but this is not so! ). There is also something to see underwater!
At 11-00 in the morning every day a snorkeling instructor sails from panton (this is the name of snorkelling to see the beauty of the underwater world without diving to the bottom) gathers people (FREE! ) for a joint swimming to a depth where you can see turtles, and , maybe, and someone else... we, unfortunately, never swam... The underwater world there is very beautiful. The water is transparent. Even at depth you can see the bottom. . .
From about 11-00 to 12-00 at the pool bar (not in the pool, but nearby) they make delicious pizza.
There is animation, but it is in Italian. Mostly they work with children. Although we also managed to play volleyball. We went to the show once on the "Egyptian day", looked at a dancing man in a skirt (as we later found out, a standard show for all hotels in Egypt), we didn't go anymore. There was no discotel due to the fact that no one stayed there. But my husband and I are very pleased with this, because in the summer in Turkey we were so tired of the disco until 3 at night under the windows of the hotel that here we simply enjoyed the silence in the full sense of the word!

Once the four of us accidentally wandered into the spa, we were seated on a sofa and, using the example of one of us, they briefly explained what each type of massage they offer means. They painted the prices, then painted a whole program of discounts, if we went for 2 massages, the 3rd one would be offered for free or replaced with a jacuzzi or sauna... For the sake of interest, we discussed all these discounts with him, etc. , for a long time, but in As a result, I went for 1 relaxation massage on the last evening, which I was very pleased with. (the massage was done by a girl, as far as I remember well, she did exactly the same thing to me as a man in a Turkish bath in Turkey). Massage 40min cost $35. But by the way, when a free massage is offered on the beach or by the pool - agree, the first massage is really free.
We went on one excursion - to "Abudabab", we saw turtles and beautiful fish there. For a change, you can go. Although the hotel has the same fish.
On the last day the bus picked us up at 13-00. Checkout time - 12-00. We have collected things. Our luggage was taken to the reception, my husband came up, took our passports (which, by the way, were kept at the reception all the time), signed where necessary, took off the bracelet (moreover, he himself reminded him to take it off), and after that we still ate pizza drank coffee at the lobby bar by the pool. There were no problems with the fact that they did not want to give us something. On the contrary, everyone actively communicated with us and wished us a happy journey))
In general, to all those who want a relaxing holiday and a beautiful sea - go ahead to Marsa Alam and you will not regret it!
