Summary.
A good hotel with a fairly large green area, a not very rich coral reef, the ability to swim both from a pontoon and in the lagoons with entry from the shore, the presence of swimming pools, high-quality, but not very varied, food, the lack of the opportunity to walk outside the hotel, i. K. Around for kilometers the desert.

Check-in / check-out.
This hotel seems to be in a fairly good partnership with the tour operator "Anex Tour", so they settled us in the morning immediately upon arrival much earlier than the estimated time without any additional payments and hints of them. When checking out, it was also possible to stay in the room without surcharges until the check-out, which was in the afternoon after the estimated check-out time.

Number.
We booked a room of the “Side Sea View” category (this category is lower than “Sea View”). But the view from the room was amazing.

From the terrace of the first floor, although the sea was visible at an angle of 45 degrees, it was a full-fledged uncut view. Even ten meters away, a tree grew, resembling a bougainvillea in the structure of flowers. Very beautiful!
The room was big enough: a double bed and a single bed, a coffee table, two armchairs and there was also a place to move around normally, a terrace, a large enough bathroom. Room cleaning was carried out daily except for the last two or three days, when the staff for some reason decided to score on it. The furniture in the room was no longer new, but everything was in order and there were no problems. A bottle of water for two people or two bottles for three or four people must be delivered to the room daily. There were three of us, but somehow they didn’t always put the second bottle.

Territory.
The territory of the hotel is large enough, well-groomed, quite green, there are alleys with shady arches made of greenery, bougainvilleas are woven along the buildings and inside the buildings, in the evening the lights are on everywhere. There are two cascades of pools on the territory: one between the deluxe buildings, the second between the standards buildings. I was a little confused by the principle of water chlorination: in the evening, diluted bleach is simply poured out of a bucket in several places and it floats on the surface in spots. I'm not saying that chlorination is not necessary, but somehow, in theory, bleach should have been poured into certain containers around the perimeter of the pool and from there it should have been driven by some kind of circulation pumps. Well, okay, I'm not an expert in this matter. The hotel is not yet fully completed. On the left side (when looking at the sea), the hulls are still being completed. But at the time of our stay, construction work was not carried out.
From what will be in the future, this is a football field, perhaps a tennis court and most likely another cascade of pools. We didn’t swim in the pools, so I won’t tell you more about comfort and water temperature.

Please note that there is desert for miles outside the hotel. Therefore, for those who are used to going out of the territory in the evening and taking a walk, as in Sharm, along Soho Square or Old Sharm with mosques and markets, this will not work here.
On the territory of the hotel there are several shops with the usual stuff, but the prices are very high and you can’t really bargain, because there is simply no alternative in the vicinity.
By the way, there is no pharmacy on site. The nearest pharmacy is in Marsa Alam, and even then with an incomprehensible, as I understood according to the guide, working hours, and a more civilized pharmacy in Port Ghalib. Therefore, it is better to take all kinds of medical little things with you. There is a paid doctor.
Yes, one more thing. You have a kettle and tea accessories in your room.
They really should be, but they do not seem to be in a hurry to issue them. If you do not have, but you need it, the easiest way, probably, this issue can be resolved through a hotel guide.

Sea.
The sea at this time is already quite warm in Marsa Alam. The water is a little cooler in the morning, but warms up in the afternoon. The private beach stretches for about 600 meters from north to south. For lovers of swimming, in principle, everything is there. There is a lagoon with a pier, from where you can swim to the outer coral (left, right or straight - they wrote a beautiful underwater reef there). There are two large enclosed lagoons, but the coral is mostly dead. In principle, there are even more lagoons, you can get to other lagoons by swimming a little above the coral.
The weather was windy. The first week the wind was strong enough and all the days the red flag hung on the pontoon. The second week the wind noticeably subsided, but there was no red flag for only two days.

With a red flag and not very strong winds, they are allowed to swim from the pontoon only in the inner part of the lagoon, without swimming out to the outer reef. In principle, this is correct, because when you swim out to the outer reef to the right, you really feel the resistance of wind and water when you return back, and you can simply not calculate the forces for the return trip. Although, in one of the photos (borrowed from another source), I will show how you can return from the outer reef through the lagoons to the shore, but this path may not be acceptable for everyone, because you often have to swim close enough to the coral. I myself did not return from the outer reef to the lagoon, therefore, I can’t say anything about this path. But between the lagoons swam repeatedly. With wind, by the way, you can swim quite comfortably in the lagoons, especially in the central one (opposite the lifeguard tower).
From the recommendations, despite the fact that there are areas of comfortable entry into the water from the shore, I would still advise you to wear coral slippers, because we remember that the nearest pharmacy with peroxide and adhesive plaster is “not close”.
The variety of fish, reptiles and beautiful corals, in my opinion, leaves much to be desired. You can find reefs and richer. Personally, I saw stingrays, a turtle, “standard” fish, beautiful large shells in this hotel. Moray did not have a chance to see. Dugong (sea cow) in this hotel also swim, but they can be seen by going on an excursion, for example, to Marsa Mubarak.

Nutrition.
For nutrition, I would rate 4+ on a 5-point system. The food is good, for the most part well prepared, but the variety is not impressive. In principle, there is plenty to choose from and you definitely will not stay hungry. Globally, in two weeks, the food did not have time to get bored.
There is a feature with bottled water. It is given only in the room.
On the territory of the hotel you can only collect in plastic cups from coolers. It seems completely inconvenient, but in practice, not everything is so terrible, because, in principle, there are enough coolers. Well, if this is really a problem for you, then come “quietly” and draw water into a bottle (at worst pouring from a glass). But to be honest with you, I didn't really need it.

Animation.
In my opinion, the animation is rather weak. Yes, the guys are trying, but their professionalism, unfortunately, is not unlimited. For two weeks there was not even a classic “Turkish night” with belly dances and performances with snakes. I was sad at the animation and I almost did not go to it.

Hotel guide.
I would like to express special attention and gratitude to the hotel guide Sayed Shepl, a local Egyptian, but who speaks Russian well. This man, as for me, is really in his place!

It was possible to resolve any issue, get advice, book a tour, etc. by contacting Said in person or via viber. Said, if you read the comment, then thank you for your work!

P. S.
In conclusion, I would like to say a few words from different topics.
There is practically no mask mode in the hotel, which you understand already in the first five minutes. Masks are worn only by cooks at the distribution, and even then not always. As for me, it was even good, although, of course, by and large, one cannot count and say so. I think this is the norm for this region, because most hotels are out of the way and there is no intersection except for hotel guests.
By the way, there were a lot of Ukrainians in the hotel (you can even say the vast majority), which was even pleasing. There were no drunken fights, thefts, etc. There were few Europeans. In the end, several Arab families arrived.
In general, I recommend the hotel!
