I am specifically writing a review 2 weeks after my return, so that I can soberly and without hasty emotions characterize this hotel. I’ll make a reservation right away that we rested in Egypt for the first time, so we, in fact, have nothing to compare with. We took a tour on the recommendation of friends who had been to Marsa Alam and highly recommended this resort, which is not common among our compatriots. So, let's sum up the week's stay.
1. Location of the hotel. This is the furthest hotel in Marsa Alam, it is located 100 km south of Marsa Alam International Airport and 25 km from the city of Marsa Alam itself. And, like most hotels in Marsa Alam, there is only desert around. The road from the airport took 1 hour and 20 minutes. The transfer was comfortable - a large air-conditioned bus.
2. Check-in / check-out. We arrived at the hotel around 22:00 Kiev time. Interestingly, the hotel does not operate the Egyptian time (an hour ago from Kiev), but the usual time for us. We were immediately taken to dinner (according to the concept of the hotel, it had already ended), and then settled. When leaving, our transfer was at 17-00, but we were allowed to stay in the room until departure without any additional fees.

3. Number. Our room was a class "standard" in building 4. The room itself is large enough, spacious, we liked it. The condition of the number shows that it is not new, there are certain nuances. The safe was screwed to the wall with only one screw and dangled, there was no “do not disturb” sign (for two days in a row, during the daytime rest, one of the service staff persistently tried to get to us, that’s why I focus on the sign), on the last day the air conditioner leaked , (the guys fixed it within an hour), the TV didn’t show well (but we came to the sea, so it wasn’t so important for us). There is no kettle with tea facilities in the room, although the concept states that there should be one. As the hotel representative always writes to such comments - it was necessary to contact the reception - in this case, why then write this in the concept, if it is not provided until you apply? We decided not to apply, because. only 1 bottle of water 1.5 l is brought to the room daily, which is barely enough just to drink, not to mention tea / coffee. If you need more water - buy at the bar or collect in a plastic cup in coolers on site. At the same time, it is forbidden to dial into the bottle, keep in mind. Beach towels are issued once per stay and cannot be replaced. Towels in the room are changed upon request (must be put in a basket or left on the floor). Of the other accessories, there is only toilet paper, soap and bath gel in dispensers. In the Deluxe rooms, according to information, there are slippers and bathrobes, but they are more expensive.
4. Room cleaning. Basically, it's fine. The floors were wiped, the garbage was taken out, the swans were spinning in the presence of a present for the cleaner. But the dust in the closet and on the shelves has not gone away during the week of stay. Near the phone lay the remnants of the insulation of the wire, apparently, after its repair, and, most likely, are still there.
5. The territory of the hotel. Large, beautiful, green, constantly carried out works on improvement and maintenance. But it is clear that earlier they followed better. In many places, the grass has already dried up and "bald patches" have formed on the lawns, here you need to pay more attention. There are places to relax in the heat and in the evening, but the upholstery of the sofas in such places already needs to be changed, it leaves much to be desired. A huge plus - Wi-Fi is of good quality throughout the territory. We were able to communicate via video even in the room. There are, of course, failures and failures of speed, but all this is not critical.
6. Beach. Large area of the beach, enough space for everyone. True sunbeds are worse than near the pool. There is a convenient entrance to the lagoon, practically without a plate and corals, where it is comfortable to swim when the wind blows (and it blows almost every day). There is a short pontoon from which you can explore the adjacent coral reef. I liked the sea itself, but the reef is mostly almost dead. To see the beauty of the reef, you need to swim, moreover, against the wind, so not everyone can do it and this is a minus. Only at the end of the holiday did we find out exactly where to sail to view the beautiful reef (the left outer reef from the pontoon), but the wind was blowing and sailing halfway against it, the desire to explore it disappeared. As the hotel administration writes in the reviews, 2 times a day a specially trained person conducts group swims along beautiful reefs. It is a pity that this information is present only in reviews and I have never been able to use this service. And, taking into account the fact that the red flag hangs on the pontoon almost every day, then there are doubts about the regularity of these swims.

7. Animation. On the beach, various events are periodically held with the participation of two Russian-speaking girls, which is important, once a week - a foam party, in the evenings a disco or contests, such as "guess the melody", "hotel queen", etc. Let them not be very many, but get bored won't have to.
8. Nutrition. No wonder it is the last in the review - we liked it the least, despite the fact that we are completely picky in food. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, respectively, will be 95% the same. Of the entire "range" of dishes, no more than half is more or less acceptable, the rest is simply tasteless. This even applies to fruits. For the first time I tried dates, which, it seems, consist entirely of water, they are much tastier here in Ukraine than in Egypt. Oranges cut in half or into 4 parts and probably soaked in water, this gives the impression. I repeat once again, we eat almost everything and are not at all spoiled by restaurants or are gourmets. But they independently came to the same opinion regarding food. Also, the behavior of all restaurant employees raises big questions. It is felt that they are rude, taking advantage of the fact that we do not understand their language, it is directly felt, and almost everyone. The food is served as if I owe something. Something needs to be done about this. Or say goodbye to these workers or have a conversation. Although as soon as I picked up the phone and made a review of the food in the restaurant (for myself, since I'm not a blogger), everyone immediately began to smile, greet each other and be extremely polite). For the sake of justice, it must be said that the bartenders in the lobby are very good, sociable and wonderful guys. They made us various non-alcoholic cocktails (alcohol in Egypt is poison, for the sake of interest I tried white and red wine - horror) and always thanked us when we returned the glass glasses ourselves, because they pour everywhere only into small plastic disposable glasses. Nice guys in the bar on the beach, as well as the chef who made pizza there. Therefore, I hope that the administration will draw conclusions.
In principle, we liked the trip, although we expected more. For the first time, it will do. And for those who are planning to go here, I recommend taking into account the remoteness of the hotel, the lack of infrastructure outside of it, and all the above information.
