We had a family vacation at Fantasia Resort from August 13 to 20.2021. I decided to write a review, because I got the impression that we were in completely different hotels with other vacationers.
We chose the hotel to have a good reef and beautiful territory.
Fish are a lot. . .
1. Entering the sea - from the pier (left), beautiful living corals, here we saw a turtle once, rays, crocodile fish, titanium triggerfish. And a lot of different small ones.
2. Central entry from the beach - a calm entry along the sand, if you swim further - there will be corals, but not very lively. But there are still a lot of fish, even near the shore.
3. There is an entry on the right, too, from the shore - there were once.
Mostly swam from the pier. 6 am is really cool.
The territory is large, a lot of palm trees, cacti, flowering plants. In the evening there is a very beautiful blue illumination throughout the hotel. The workers were constantly taking care of the plants, weeding, pruning, dry branches were cut off the palm trees.
Food. Pretty good for Egypt. They were definitely never hungry. There were no poisonings. For dinner at the entrance to the restaurant grilled meat or fish on the street. For seven days - three days there were huge fish (tuna, the other two names were not understood). Beautiful and interesting. Divided and cooked right away. Of course, you need to remember that this is Egypt and do not expect such a variety as in Turkey. But there is a choice. Fruits - melon, figs, cacti, grapes. . .
There was pizza in the bar on the beach during the day, but we don't eat that, so I can't say anything. Very good natural coffee was made in the bar in the main lobby where the reception is. Water in coolers, in bars we took cola and bottled beer. I advise you to take good plastic glasses or thermomugs with you - they will also pour them into your container. All drinks were poured into plastic or disposable cups (in bars).
Local alcohol did not try, except for beer.
Two huge pools - for dinner and in the evening after the beach, they only went into the one that is closer to us.
Number. We lived in building 4, it is closest to the pier, restaurant and pool.
Settled in room 4238 - standard with a sea view. The kettle was brought immediately upon request. Minus - the room was in the middle between our building and the one under construction (the construction was not going on), it was dark in the evening.
So the next day we went to move. I think we were lucky, at the reception there was a Russian-speaking manager Mohamed Ashrad, and as far as I understood the director of the hotel Mr. Ismail Abdel Hamid, who personally offered us a different room. We were given room 4315 - Deluxe. The surcharge is far from 100 dollars, as I read in some comments. You will be pleasantly surprised. The room is chic. Sea view - one of the two best in the building. Plus a view of the pool, the mountains in the distance. Very great review.
I want to write special thanks to Mohamed Ashrad - he solved all the problems, although there weren’t really any. Helped pay with a card for a photo from the tour, although it was necessary in cash. In general, the entire staff always smiles and greets. I didn't see any discrimination.

Animation - our son is an adult, so I can’t say anything about a child. But there are not many animators guys. Evening shows are in a slightly different country. Music at the bar on the beach in the evening plus animation - but we were sitting by the sea on sun loungers - taking drinks, listening to music and enjoying the sound of the sea.
