I have not been to Egypt so many times to confidently compare the hotels there. I can say for sure that there are better hotels, for example, Mercure Hurghada 4 * will be better than this five.
The disadvantage of the hotel is that it is in the middle of nowhere (the middle places are called Marsa Alam), and is also located at some distance from the beach. (You can walk, or you can wait for a minibus). Entry into the sea from the beach goes through sharp pebbles, but there are no stones on the beach itself and further into the sea. The water pressure in the washbasin is weak, the shower leaks onto the floor. Perhaps the rest is ok.
There are many more pluses. Food for Egypt is excellent, both for adults and for children. The pool and grounds are nice. The rooms are spacious and renovated in 2014. Very positive staff.

The most important thing! Huge turtles live in the bay on the beach! There are many of them, and it is not difficult to see them, there are very large ones, with a shell size of about 1.5 meters, and there are smaller ones. The oldest ones are said to be over 200 years old. They eat grass in the middle of the bay, come up to breathe, they are not afraid of tourists. Colored reefs, rich in corals and wildlife, on both sides of the bay. The reefs start right from the beach and go down to great depths.
There is a diving center, but the prices are very high compared to Sharm.
