Chose a place for honeymoon trip. We decided that in times of quarantine, Egypt, with its interesting marine life and a hotel remote from the city, is the most suitable option.
We chose between the Hilton and Braika Bay, and could not choose) Therefore, we took a tour for a more suitable date. It was the Hilton. And we didn't regret it. The room was very nice, modern, everything is there, even an iron. The view is chic. At that time, there was still a promotion according to which the category of the room was upgraded, and many other bonuses were given (like mango for free with you, or going to a la carte three times instead of one). They also gave us a wedding cake.
The staff is very pleasant. No one asked for anything, everyone is as helpful as possible. Thank them very much. True, when we did not leave a tip for several days, the cleaner began to clean not so diligently)

The choice of food, as far as I know, was much larger in the days before the virus. But we had enough of everything. Sweets are especially delicious, and pasta.
The area is not particularly large to walk around for a long time. It is better to walk in the sea) Turtles impressed me the most. I really enjoyed swimming with them. I didn't see the big concentrations of fish on the corals, as they show in the broadcasts about the sea, but I didn't swim far from the shore. There, the corals begin right from the beginning of the sunset. You are looking in the sand and on the left you are already looking at the corals. I saw a wide variety of fish, surgeons, lionfish, hedgehogs, rays. And it's all at a shallow depth.
From part of the closed Hilton beach there is no entry into the water, as there are corals. You need to walk to the place where they end and the sand begins. For us, it was the little things. But if you want to immediately go from the sunbed, then there are sunbeds on the public beach. It is paid, but free for Hilton guests.
You also have to walk to the beach from the hotel for about 5 minutes along a path braided with plants, like in a tunnel. If you are too lazy, then the train goes. For me, this is normal, given that the bay is protected and the hotel should not take its territory for its buildings. People go on excursions to this bay.
And we went on an excursion to Dendera and Luxor. Honestly, I advise you to go from Hurghada there. Cheaper and less travel time. Although we traveled in comfort. In general, we had a personal guide who drove us around Dendera and Luxor. I wholeheartedly advise him, he is a very simple, decent and good person. He does not incline to buy anything, he helped us with our requests such as going to the pharmacy, relaxing for coffee. Everyone knows him everywhere and warmly welcomes him. According to Dendera, they say he is the best specialist. I would really like the tour to be ordered from him, and not through intermediaries. The flight to Hurghada did not seem so expensive after the flight to Luxor, but there are also direct flights to Marsa Alam. So the tours are a bit more expensive. But it is easy to get to with children.
The vacation went very well. A week was enough - and not a little, we managed everything we wanted, and not much - now I want to return. We are very grateful to the hotel and all the good people who helped us.
By the way, there were also unpleasant merchants with inadequate prices. But, as I understand it, without this, nowhere in Egypt.
