In Egypt for the fifth time . . In Marsa Alam - for the first time. We arrived in Hurghada on July 30, almost 3 hours of travel - and we are at the hotel. We arrived after dark, had dinner, ran around the territory and slept. They were among the first Russians. The hotel has just opened. There were few people, mostly Italians, there were Germans, French, Ukrainians. By the end of the departure - people gradually increased - it became noticeable by the sun loungers around the pool. The weather was excellent, despite the high temperature - 34 degrees, the heat was not felt due to the wind. At first I was in a panic - the beach seemed far away. But then they somehow adapted - a tram transported them around the territory. And yet, of all the trips (were in Sharm (Seti Sharm, Sheraton, Rajana), Taba Hilton) here is the best reef. Some turtles are worth it! we saw moray eels, stingrays, but we didn’t see a sea cow. In general, the place is wonderful!
The hotel is new. The rooms are very good. Everything worked, cleaned daily, the staff is super friendly - I don't know, maybe because the hotel is new. They fed well. And meat and chicken and fish and salads and pastries - in principle, a standard set. But packaged juices, good beer, they took red wine - nothing, you can drink. In general, there were no problems with food - I liked everything - and did not even have time to get bored.
We took two vouchers - to Luxor and Hamata. I was afraid to go to Luxor, but oddly enough I endured a normal trip. again, not the season - the group is small - only 7 people. We traveled in a minibus. Pretty fast - 3 hours. Of course, it was very hot there - 45 in the shade. Be sure to take more water with you in case someone ventures. By the end - just washed with water. Impressions are worth it to visit there.

Hamata - a reserve south of Marsa Alam - two hours away by minibus. Boat trip to the islands. you can’t go out on the islands themselves - it is protected by law. and the corals are very beautiful. By the way, our hotel had more living creatures than there. but live corals and fish are nemo - very beautiful! In general, no regrets.
The beach from our room (we lived in building 17) - 500 meters. The beach itself is long, sand, but there is no entrance to the sea - a coral reef. At the very beginning, they tried to enter right away - it was very inconvenient, and the lionfish were literally under their feet. Entry into the sea to the right of our beach 100 meters. Sunset is good - sand. The reef goes to the left, the turtles to the right. This is the bay of Abu Dabbab. The place is unique. Therefore, I took some distance from the hotel for granted, although at first I was worried that it was far away. We went to the sea before breakfast on foot, from there, as a rule, by tram. During the day and until the beach closes (before sunset), he walks regularly. After breakfast and before lunch, a lot of tourists are brought from neighboring hotels. Mostly Italians. Very organized comrades - all lined up behind the guide - this is a must see! But after lunch is the best time - there are few people. The wind was almost all days. But the beach of our hotel is on the leeward side. Therefore, even I, believe me, not a very experienced swimmer, I could easily swim with a mask, and in recent days even take pictures of underwater life. Although I definitely advise flippers.
When we left, the people at the hotel, of course, increased, but the beach on the sea is very large, I think there is enough space for everyone. The sunbeds are new, but we practically did not lie - all the time in the water. The water is very warm.
