Overall impression: standard Egyptian five. No obvious benefits.
Rooms: the rooms are the only thing for which there are no complaints, everything is new, everything works and everything you need is there.
Food: the variety of dishes unfortunately is not striking. All products are fresh and high quality. There are packaged juices. The fish is cooked well, the fruit is not enough.

Staff and service: this is perhaps the most unpleasant moment. After reading reviews about the super-polite service, I was somewhat dumbfounded upon arrival at the hotel. Waiters (not all, but most) are slow (drinks are brought when you finish dinner and you don’t need them anymore, but you can’t take it yourself) and you feel that they are tired. And they are tired because there are very few of them for such a number of guests hospitality suffers as a result. Accustomed to their other trips to their jokes, they were surprised here. For lunch and dinner, you need to stand in line from 5 to 20 minutes, as there are a lot of people, and the restaurant is designed for a smaller number. I especially didn’t like the bartenders on the beach: for 8 days, not a single sincere smile and some unpleasant, obsessive jokes about soldering the people, and then fun over them. Sometimes I didn’t even want to go to the bar. In all 13 trips to this country, I never made any comments to the staff, but these bartenders were an exception. It’s just amazing for Hilton to dismiss the staff like that. For all 8 days of rest, the cleaner never cleaned normally, while they asked to clean in the morning, cleaned once, all other times after dinner.
Territory of the hotel: beautiful territory, 2 heated pools, in general, everything is fine, only there is not enough greenery, but this is fixable. There are a little strange umbrellas on the beach, even when you lie under an umbrella in the shade, you burn anyway, since the umbrella is made of planks, and between them the same size as the plank space. The sea is beautiful: there are turtles, octopuses, various fish. It is a pity that the dugong swam away from these places.
Conclusions: something needs to be done with the staff: either control or change. I won’t recommend it to friends, I won’t go a second time for sure. We went for 78.000 for 4 people. Is this hotel worth the money? More likely yes than no. In Egypt 13 times, in Marsa Alam 6 times (Kalimera 2 times, Lamaia, Crown Plaza, Resta Grand) this hotel would put in the penultimate place.
I wish everyone who read my opus to the end not to be deceived in their expectations and have a wonderful holiday.
