Our stay at the Jazz Lamaya Hotel in Marsa Alam was truly wonderful and we will have fond memories of our stay for a long time. We came from Zurich together and this was our first visit to Egypt. The transfer worked perfectly (we arrived in the middle of the night). We were warmly welcomed to the hotel, our suitcases were brought directly to our room, and snacks were also delivered to our room. Really very attentive. The hotel complex is very well maintained and in excellent condition. Has 4 swimming pools, 1 children's pool, 2 heated pools and 1 unheated pool. The children's pool could be a little further away from the "normal" pools (kids screaming). The sea can be reached in about a minute. Magnificent sea with corals and colorful fish. The food was excellent and very varied. The staff are very friendly (we have never met such friendly staff) and try very hard to make sure everyone has a good time.
In about 5 minutes you can also reach the water park (also great for adults). The animation was also great (regards Dot). They brought us new pillows upon request, which was very friendly. The only criticism is that the furniture is a bit old. In this regard, we expected a little more from a 5* hotel. However, we highly recommend this hotel.
