As for the location, I think it's great. I say this because it is close to the sea, but also far enough from the mountains that you can see the mountains during a beautiful sunset. The staff everywhere are very friendly and helpful. Big kudos to all the staff. We really enjoyed our time at Lamaya. The cozy rooms have everything you need, are clean and are cleaned daily. Thank you to our cleaner who surprised us every day with his "towel art" on the bed. The refrigerator is stocked with soft drinks (but they are paid, which is actually unusual for a five-star hotel). The furniture is a bit old (very dark) but the beds are great.
The choice and quality of the food was huge and the service in the dining room and bars was excellent. A la carte restaurants are highly recommended. Our stay at the Jazz Lamaya Hotel in Marsa Alam was truly wonderful and we will have fond memories of our stay for a long time. We came from Zurich together and this was our first visit to Egypt. The transfer worked perfectly (we arrived in the middle of the night). We were warmly welcomed to the hotel, our suitcases were brought directly to our room, and snacks were also delivered to our room.

The hotel complex is very well maintained and in excellent condition. Has 4 swimming pools, 1 children's pool, 2 heated pools and 1 unheated pool. The children's pool could be a little further away from the "normal" pools (kids screaming). The sea can be reached in about a minute. Magnificent sea with corals and colorful fish. The food was excellent and very varied. The staff are very friendly (we have never met such friendly staff) and try very hard to make sure everyone has a good time.
In about 5 minutes you can also reach the water park (also great for adults). The animation was also great (regards Dot). They brought us new pillows upon request, which was very friendly. The only criticism is that the furniture is a bit old. In this regard, we expected a little more from a 5* hotel. However, we highly recommend this hotel.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay and we highly recommend this hotel! This was our third stay at this hotel. The hotel is located near the airport, and our transfer time was only 10-15 minutes. However, you can hardly hear anything from the nearby airport. The hotel is a little older, but nothing is missing. We were greeted warmly from the very beginning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The check-in process went smoothly and we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink.
This warm welcome set the tone for our entire holiday. The hotel rooms were spacious, clean and functionally furnished. We didn't like the first room and were immediately offered another. As requested, we were given a quiet room overlooking the garden. The beds were comfortable and we had a great sleep here. The daily decorations on the beds with towels were very original. The food was absolutely fantastic! The buffet offered a wide selection of Egyptian and international dishes. The quality and taste of the food was excellent. Some of the food was freshly cooked/fried. You also have the opportunity to eat once during your entire stay in a special restaurant that serves a menu. You should book this place immediately upon arrival (during high season) as demand is quite high. The hotel pool was beautifully decorated and was cleaned every evening. Drinks were served or you could help yourself at the pool bar.
However, we didn't make much use of the pool because we are keen snorkelers and divers and have always felt comfortable on the beach (it's quieter there). Access to the beach was also perfect, we spent many hours on the beach and the underwater world amazed us every day. In general, you can expect that there will be a lot of employees on the road offering massages, quads, beauty treatments, etc. looking for clients. There is also a very large slide system not far from the hotel. The hotel has an animation team. They organized fun activities during the day by the pool and on the beach, but we didn't take advantage of this and can't say anything about it. All we saw was that there were a lot of offers. In the evenings there is always a show and live music and dancing at the bar. The hotel also has a spa, which my daughter and I used once. The massage and treatments were very relaxing, big compliments to the ladies.
However, there was a flaw on the part of the management of the wellness center: we should immediately book another massage in order to receive a discount. It was said that the meeting could be canceled if it didn’t work out. When I had to sign the application, the bill for the room already showed two appointments. I complained about this and said that I would not pay for the second appointment until we received the application. Then it was written: then I will not receive a discount on another application. This sounded like blackmail to me, and so I refrained from further massages. To sum it up, I can say that our stay at Jazz Lamaya in Egypt was simply an amazing holiday. We felt at home here and were pampered by the attentive and friendly staff. Everything was very clean and hygienic. We are already looking forward to our next visit to this Red Sea paradise!

The shuk was found and delivered to the guest (I arranged it from Germany) to Germany where I was able to receive it. Мы останавливались в этом прекрасном отеле две недели. Поездка до отеля занимает около 7 минут. Весь комплекс содержится в хорошем состоянии. Отель расположен в бухте, где можно купаться, заниматься сноркелингом и дайвингом. Идеально подходит для тех, кто ищет тишины и покоя. Для нас это лучшее место в бухте. Также есть несколько возможностей съездить на экскурсии, также хорошо работает дайвинг-центр и туры на квадроциклах прямо из отеля. Вы также можете воспользоваться аквапарком соседнего отеля.
