The hotel is listed as a 4 by star rating. This is far from true. I'll start with the positives, but they are closer to irony. Who likes a secluded and relaxing holiday - the hotel fits perfectly. Tourists in the hotel at the same time is from 7 to 17 people. And this is the good news of the hotel! You understand that everything is for you - the sea, swimming pools, sun loungers, etc. About ten people work at the hotel. The guys are all wonderful and friendly. They try their best to please and sometimes do the impossible. Namely: they swim with you in the pool, drink coffee at the same table, go fishing with you at the sea. This is probably why they do not have time for everything else - cook food, clean the rooms, clean the pools, etc.

Now for the points. Immediately make a reservation, we are not whimsical and not spoiled by "five" tourists.

Sea and beach.

There is a sandy beach. But you can't swim in the sea from the shore.

To swim, you need to walk over rocks and corals for about a kilometer in ankle-deep water, as there is no pontoon. Those who passed this test say that they saw a beautiful underwater world and a living coral reef. But the second time they did not dare to jump into the abyss, as a huge marine indefinite animal was quickly rushing around the reef, and there were no rescuers and a pontoon, respectively. There are enough sun loungers, but the mattresses are not processed, the beach is not cleaned. Dirty glasses, bags, dishes can stand for days on the beach and not be removed.

Nutrition.

This is perhaps the most deadly minus. There is no buffet. Let me explain: potatoes, pasta, rice, fish, chicken, cucumbers and tomatoes. Except for fried potatoes, all food is not edible and not fresh. Of the pastries, one is not very-looking cake and cupcake. Bread and ketchup. Here, in fact, is a detailed list of our buffet. At the same time, tourists who had a rest before us said that this is still a luxury.
Before us, tourists had to ask for bread, because they didn’t cook at all. As it turned out later, often food could not be cooked due to the fact that in order to save money from 10 am to 2-4 pm, the electricity was simply cut off in the hotel. During this period of time we were not even given tea. Between breakfasts, lunches and dinners, no pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, etc. However, if you ask for pizza for dinner, they will bake it, if you ask for a pancake for breakfast tomorrow, they will also make them. On the one hand, all this can be understood. The hotel is young, developing and it is unprofitable to throw out products for the preparation of an abundance of food. But not with the same issuance of eggs by the number of vacationers. On the other hand, if tourists have paid for a service, then they want to receive it, and not ask for pancakes and bread. Of the pluses of "all inclusive" can be attributed only to the immense issuance of alcoholic beverages, including bottled beer and majito, which they have quite tasty.
Local vodka, similar to Russian moonshine. The wine is local but tasty.

Restaurants and bars:

- main restaurant (Tejano) main beach

- beach restaurant and bar (cancun) by the pool - none

- lobby bar - it is not

- pool bar - the only thing there is alcohol

- tents with snacks - they are not

About the rooms.

Spacious and beautiful rooms. The type of cleaning is done daily, but it only consists in wrapping towels (your own dirty and wet ones), laying out flower petals and displaying your bottles beautifully. As such, sanitary cleaning in the rooms is not carried out. Dust is everywhere, and settles after this miracle cleaning. And this leads to another problem: the whole exetarium in your rooms: lizards on the ceilings, centipedes running with tentacles and ants on the floor, but the biggest problem is the midge. The tourists, who in the amount of eight people went to other hotels, turned out to be allergic to it.
Someone in a rash, someone with swollen legs and faces moved out of the hotel. On the day of our arrival, our room was processed upon request. There were no midges, and all other living creatures turned out to be resistant to processing.

The shops.

There is only one oil shop on site. The seller, by order, brings both masks with tubes and medicines. In general, everything you need. Tourists are not allowed into the territory of neighboring hotels in local shops, and a trip to the bazaar in El Quseir costs $30, and a taxi costs $50 to the market.

Animation.

There are no declared sports entertainments, no animators in this hotel. There was a volleyball court on the beach, but the administrator could not find the ball for us. Of all the entertainment - billiards in the lobby.

I wrote this review while staying at the hotel. So to speak, in hot pursuit. And in one of the four pools at that time 4 people were splashing. In general, the view, to be honest, mournful. Although it is designed to accommodate 96 rooms.
The number of pools is quite normal. There is also a jacuzzi. That's just the water in the pools is dirty. As the tourists who entered a week earlier said, a dirty film floated on top of the surface of the water. The bottom of the mucus was cleaned, but the water still remained unclear. There are separate buildings for shops. A children's indoor room and a children's pool have been rebuilt. But when there are no people and the required number of staff, this whole new hotel just dies before our eyes.

Resettlement.

The guide from "Coral" refused to solve all these problems, saying that they were not solvable and offered to move to another hotel, while saying that it was necessary to pay extra. But we sharply put him in his place, explaining that we did not receive the rest we paid for and demanded an early and free relocation to another hotel, since we had already lost two days of rest. The guide accepted our conditions and moved to another hotel at no extra charge.

In total, with a difference of one day, 10 people moved us. But from everyone except us, the guides of Pegasus, Tez Tour and Coral took money for both resettlement and transfer from $30 to $120 per person.

By the way, strong friendship with "colleagues in misfortune" became positive emotions from this hotel. We were all moved to the same hotel, and we had a great time with bitter laughter remembering the first days of the holiday.

Conclusion: never buy vouchers to a hotel without reviews from tourists. About the Laguna in Marsa Alam, we could not find a single review.
