My friend and I decided to spontaneously fly away on vacation. The choice of the resort fell on Marsa Alam, because we wanted to visit not a typical Egypt. We didn't have to choose the hotel for a long time, since the main criteria were the location close to the airport and the first coastline. After reading the reviews, we decided to go to Royal Tulip and did not regret it. We arrived early in the morning, around 6 am, at the reception they offered to check in immediately for $ 20 per person or wait until 10 am.
The territory of the hotel is huge, green. At the time of our stay, there were two large swimming pools and one children's pool with a water park. The room is quite spacious but could do with a refurbishment. After a comment on an insufficiently cleaned room, the situation was quickly corrected. Towels are clean enough, soap, shampoo and body lotion were present. Each subsequent day after cleaning, a surprise awaited us in the form of various figures from towels decorated with various colors. Water was supplied once a week, if you want more often, pay $ 1 for a 1.5 liter bottle.
In terms of nutrition, a very varied food: fruits, vegetables, side dishes, several types of meat and fish, various soups of several types, sweets, tea, coffee, juices. Every evening, different dishes were prepared separately on the street on the grill. The bar in the lobby worked until 00:00, a separate bar in the restaurant, the waiters brought ordered drinks, there is also a bar on the beach with various snacks, the waiter brought drinks directly to the sunbeds. The downside is that there was no ice cream. The beach, in principle, is normal, the sun loungers are fenced with wicker partitions, the entry into the sea from the shore is shallow, for children it’s the very thing from the pontoon, it’s a bit far to go. The reef is gorgeous, a lot of fish, in the morning, while there are not many people, you can see a stingray and a radiant lionfish.

Well done animators, invited to stretching, yoga, aqua aerobics, zumba, beach volleyball and other interesting games. Various shows were put on in the evenings. There is a diving center, the guys talk in an accessible way, show, a trial dive in the pool for free. We also took an excursion from them, went to look at the turtles in the open sea, our guide was attentive and polite, we were delighted. Of the minuses paid water, paid Wi-Fi $ 20 for a week and they said that it does not work very well, the lack of discos and rather cold water in the pools.
