Good day to all. We arrived a week ago from this hotel. We chose ourselves plus the recommendation of our manager from the tour company. I will not write about the air carrier, tour operator and travel agency, since this does not apply to the hotel. I have been vacationing abroad since 2007, in Egypt for the 4th time. Before that, rested only in 5 stars. Rested 2 + 1 (child 6 years old).
1. Settlement. Arrival at the hotel late at 9 pm. We were offered a room on the first floor with a large terrace. The room is renovated, the bed is clean, the air conditioner and TV are old, but everything is working. The refrigerator worked flawlessly. For comparison, we looked at another room there, of course, it was getting worse (and without repair, and the conder was generally ancient, where instead of a remote control some kind of string hung, and indeed it stank there). The hotel is undergoing restoration and renovation of the rooms. No money was given at all. After settling, we went to the dining room where dinner was waiting for us. Hot dishes were covered with foil to keep warm.
2. Territory. Small, but there is where to take a walk, a cottage-type hotel, 3-4 storey cottages for 6-8 rooms. The territory itself has been cleaned up (of course, there are cups and bottles in the corners, but we didn’t really run around in the backyards), palm trees, flowers and other vegetation are all around. Yes, there are also dried specimens, but we must not forget that this is Africa and the desert is all around, and the season, as it were, is not the same. In the spring, I think it's different. There are a couple of waterfalls, one adult pool and one children's pool, but we were not interested in them at all. Bar by the pool.

3. Beach and sea. The sea is of course not discussed. The Red Sea is one of the best in terms of healing properties. As they say, it's better to see once than hear 100 times. The hotel has a young coral reef. There is something to see (this is not Charm of course), but there are a lot of fish. I saw a stingray, a sea lion and many other things. The entrance to the sea is gentle, sandy. For those with children, just what you need. The beach is sandy, on the beach near everyone!! ! Umbrella grow small young palm trees. The distance between the sun loungers is large 5-7 meters, if one of the neighbors smokes, then this does not interfere. Yes, and extraneous conversations do not interfere with rest. The beds are wooden and old. Here, of course, you can and should replace them. Pretty heavy. The mattresses are normal, not torn. Towels are both new and already laundered. This is how lucky, and does it matter ? ! Also, the beach would do well to clean up more. Near each umbrella there are 2 garbage cans, but many manage not to fall into them. And then write bad reviews. On both sides of the beach there are diving centers Orka and Barakuda.
4. Nutrition. The restaurant or dining room (as you like and discussions are inappropriate here) is quite large, it is cool in the hall. At lunch and dinner, a senior meets you at the entrance and leads you to a free table. No need to run around with a plate and look for a table. Well, not all 5-star hotels have this. Alcoholic drinks are also brought by the waiters, you do not need to stand in line to get a drink. Cola, Fanta, Sprite is automatic. Drink at least fill up. Food. Meat (beef), chicken, fish constantly and in different improvisations. Vegetables, salads, olives, cheeses, side dishes, various cakes with cheese and meat, shawarma, cuts and sausages (soy, I didn’t even try because they ate normal food). Sweet in sufficient quantity and quality. Especially delicious baklava. Fruit melon, orange, guava. I ate only melon and then there was nowhere to shove. To whom it is not enough..... well, I don’t know. We eat fruits at home every day, so there is no particular "hunger". Everything is fresh and tasty. Nobody limits the number. Nobody was poisoned by anything. The child ate and no one went hungry. Who will say little and monotonous....well, then you are in Monaco in a restaurant of molecular cuisine. Although I think that at home such "cadres" do not eat anything except potatoes and chicken giblets.
5. Drinks. I drank mostly beer (bottled by the way), my wife wine. A couple of times I tried rum, ouzo and whiskey. Well, it’s clear that these drinks in Egypt are not for everyone and we didn’t go there to drink. Cocktails are paid - 2 dollars.
6. The contingent of vacationers. 70% Germans, there are French, Poles, Czechs, Belarusians and fellow Ukrainians. "TAGILA" NO. And this is a blessing.

7. Animation. Animation sharpened for Europe. Egyptian animators (great boys and girls), especially James and Coco. At first there was no children's animation, but the reason is banal - there were no children. Generally. Only a couple of diapers and a couple of 3-4 year olds. In the second week of rest, another 5-6 children came and the mini-disco was already held. The animation is classic and those who have been resting abroad more than once will say that it is not interesting, well, maybe so. We didn't always go. It was interesting on Sundays (belly dance and male dance with skirts).
8. Staff. Friendly and smiling. Reception, waiters, bartenders mostly speak Russian. Animators are not. But... if you are going on vacation abroad, take the trouble to learn a couple of phrases or words in English. For it is you who will look like "chumps".
9. Problem solving. Usually in Egyptian hotels they really do not like the phrase "I have a problem! " On the fifth or sixth day, the sewerage in the room clogged. The toilet does not drain, there is water in the cubicle, there is water on the bathroom floor. Well, I think they came. Will start now. It was closer to dinner around 7 pm. I go to the reception, on the shift the guy who settled us (he speaks Russian well and in this situation he did not "forget" him, as many people do). He understood everything and said that the right person would come now. I think, well, maybe in the morning and come. I came to the room after 5 minutes, there was a knock on the door, they looked, they opened the hatch on the street, they cleaned it, drained the water, washed the floor. The beauty. It took 20 minutes from the trip to the reception and the problem was solved !!!! ! I was pleasantly surprised and gave the guys a buck.
Conclusion: This is a relaxing hotel with a good beach and cool sea. This is exactly what we came here for. Take a break from worries and heal the child. Who needs dancing, shmantsy, zazhimantsy - you are not here. If you usually eat oysters for breakfast, shrimp soup for lunch, and langoustines with Pacific crabs for dinner, you are definitely not here. And I would advise you to adequately evaluate the hotel, and especially its cost. For there cannot be a variety of arthropods on a plate in a hotel for 10-15 dollars / day per person, and Cabernet Sauvignon and Courvoisier in a glass. As I already wrote, there are a lot of Germans here, but they are not fools and far from poor. But...... draw your own conclusions. Personally, my family and I were 95% satisfied with the hotel. Good luck to all.
