From the very beginning I chose Safaga - to be as far away from Cairo and all these political obscurities as possible, to have a rest in a quiet place.
TERRITORY
Everything as I expected (before the trip I read reviews about the hotel). Well-decorated compact territory, many palm trees, including right on the beach.
Beautiful pool (not deep + there is generally a children's 60 cm deep). The only pity is no heating in winter, because the water was cold in December-January. The sea warmed up better from the sun.
Nice clean sandy beach, gently sloping clean entrance to the sea (not deep enough for long).
NUTRITION
Very pleased with the restaurant.
They cooked delicious, it was always hot (they cooked right before our eyes, there were always two or three chefs and they made an omelet with ingredients to choose from, scrambled eggs, pancakes for breakfast, fried fish or chicken chops for lunch and dinner, once even meat with vegetables here did it - it turned out very tasty like on a grill, they also made pasta with ingredients to choose from (my child was delighted, because in general he is not indifferent to pasta. ) In addition, there were always several other hot dishes: sausages, sometimes potatoes in different types, sometimes even beef, there was always rice, steamed vegetables...I can't remember everything. There were also soups for dinner. Always a lot of salads to choose from or just chopped fresh vegetables with several types of watering to choose from. Oranges were always served from fruits , guava, dates, less often melon and tangerines. Sweets - in assortment, always a great choice. For 8 days of rest, I did not get tired at all.

ROOMS
I was pleased that they settled in a room with a sea view, despite the fact that I bought a tour with the usual Garden View. Without any additional payments for a nice smile and a little knowledge of English, they settled in room 340 (it was already written about here) - 2nd floor, the sea in the background.
Of the shortcomings - the rooms have old furniture and a TV, air conditioning is awesome. But this did not bother me at all, I was ready after reading the reviews of previous tourists. Air conditioning is not needed at all in December-January, we did not use it. The TV was turned on a couple of times (it gets dark early in winter in Egypt), there is even one Russian channel.
ENTERTAINMENT
We did not need animation and all sorts of entertainers from the outside, I don’t like it at all. Animators were, but not particularly imposed, vacationers preferred to do without them.
The age category of vacationers is on average 30-50 years + children.
Mostly foreigners had a rest (Germans, Austrians, Poles ...French and Latvians also met). The Russians began to call in in the second half of our holiday.
We swam on the sea with the local travel agency Romantic Island (a very good-natured guy Tito walked along the beach selling these excursions and we somehow gained confidence in him). By the way, it turned out that his wife was Russian. : )
They were also satisfied with the sea voyage, from 9.30 to 16.00 it cost $ 20 for adults. / 15$ children. The friendly team "Captain Woody" entertained us all day as best they could, there were two stops on the coral reefs, swimming (masks and fins were included in the price), a glass-bottomed boat trip to the island (the island is nothing special, as already mentioned here, just a piece of land with white sand (this sand is considered healing on the Red Sea), but there are coral reefs in the turquoise sea around), but in the complex the whole trip left a good impression.
The price also included lunch on the ship and drinks throughout the voyage. The day was spent perfectly, especially, again, the child was wildly delighted. The Egyptians are very benevolent and friendly, everyone there loved him and paid attention, even the captain put him at the helm)))
We took the Super Luxor tour from Tez Tour, we liked it, the child is generally delighted.
