We rested in Menavila from 03.05. until 05/17/11, all-inclusive vouchers. In 2010, our friends were already here on vacation, therefore, gathering this year, having reviewed many offers from tour agencies, we decided not to tempt fate and go there too. And since my husband and I have never been abroad, we completely trusted our friends. And they didn't regret it. I decided to write a review not to talk about the delights of a holiday at sea. I would like to share some tips with those who are just choosing a vacation spot.
Well, in order.
1. Menaville is a quiet, cozy hotel, immersed in greenery, without noisy discos and without much animation. Young people and people looking for adventure, in my opinion, will be bored here. Menaville is a quiet holiday, the main contingent of vacationers are couples and older people. Lots of divers as there is a diving club on site. But there were no Russian-speaking instructors there.

2. On the ticket, we paid for superior rooms (I assume 800s), but at the reception on arrival we were offered 100s for 20 bucks, located right on the seashore. The room is quite modest but clean. Combined bathroom, air conditioner, TV, old at the beginning, after 3 days a large, flat one appeared. Why, we don’t know, they didn’t ask to change it themselves. The hair dryer only works until it heats up, then you need to wait until it cools down. Cleaned up every day. There were no bugs, cockroaches and other filth, as some wrote in the reviews. An ant ran across the floor a couple of times. Salamanders lived in a lantern on the street, but did not cause any inconvenience. From the window - a view of the sea, to which 1 minute crawling. We lived in 141 rooms.
3. I liked the food very much. But we are not at all capricious in this regard. For someone, 50 salads for dinner will not be enough. Lots of vegetables, fish every day, a lot of pastries. Alcohol is pretty bland. Wine white, red, rum, whiskey, vodka. Beer is light, local spill.
And further. Prices at Hurghada airport are the same as in the market near the hotel. Therefore, you can stock up on papyri, halva and other gifts for relatives while waiting for departure.
Summing up, I want to say that if you are not embarrassed by modest housing, if you are not used to drinking collection wines, but came to Egypt to enjoy the sun, the magnificent sea in silence from the bustle, then Menaville is the place you were looking for. I will definitely go back there again and again!
