I want to warn you right away, I'm not trying to dissuade someone not to go to this hotel, only my subjective opinion about our vacation will be below.
There are a lot of Russian-speaking tourists with children in the hotel, about 95%, many of them come here not for the first time and not for the first year, each finding something positive for himself.
This year, unfortunately, we could not afford an expensive hotel due to the limited travel budget and our choice fell on Menaville.
Number:
Since we were not going to leave the hotel, we decided to pay extra for a room with a sea view and took a super suite instead of a standard one. The room was spacious with 2 single beds and a sofa bed. Stepan refused to sleep on it, we moved the beds, it turned out decently, and we all slept together))

The first week was cleaned well, before lunch and when we came after the sea we were already in a clean room. And the second week the cleaners figured out when Stepan was falling asleep and came when he was already asleep. I had to postpone until tomorrow. When this happened repeatedly, I could not stand it anymore, I had to quarrel and everything was fixed.
Everything is standard in the bathroom. The only negative: by lunchtime, the cold water in the shower was already hot and I had to wash super quickly so as not to get burned.
Our room was at the other end of the hotel and we had to stomp to the restaurant. We very much regretted that we did not take a stroller, considering Stepan an "adult". But he quickly found a way out and dad's shoulders became the new taxi)))
Nutrition:
I was very disappointed by the scarcity of food. Of course, we are not strong gourmets, but we love to eat delicious food. All 2 weeks, the composition of breakfast dishes did not change for a single dish, and coming every morning we already knew what we would eat today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. There is no porridge, there was cottage cheese.
First and second courses were added to lunches and dinners, but everything did not differ in particular variety: stew of not the best quality with streaks, but soft, dry chicken or fish fillet with curry sauce.
I have never eaten so much pasta in my life as there is, mashed potatoes are absolutely tasteless, there were steamed vegetables, but they quickly get bored. In general, by the end of the 2nd week, we already went to eat with longing.
At first there were not enough fruits (apples, wooden pears cut into slices in ice water, green but soft melon and small bananas). Then sweet oranges, lemons, guava were added.
Sometimes they gave me watermelon. That was really delicious! But only at dinner ((And I had to run to the toilet all night. Grapes were also for dinner. We took it once and paid the price on a sleepless night (Stepan's stomach twisted, I had to give Espumizan).
Drinks are only powdered in the cooler (((No freshly squeezed drinks were even offered for money. Only carbonated cola, fanta, etc. The only thing was cold hibiscus in the morning, we poured it into 2 small bottles and gave it to the child during the day.

It was very annoying that nothing could be eaten between breakfasts, lunches and dinners ((In the bars near the beach and the pool, only drinks, snacks for money, ice cream are free, too. It turned out such a full board, not all inclusive.
Territory:
Large, green, houses twined with flowers, very beautiful. At the time of our stay, date palms thrived and the fruits fell under our feet... it was not very pleasant to crush them with our feet, the Arabs did not often clean them.
Beach 250-300 meters, fine sand, gentle entrance, ideal for children. Beach towels are old and grey. The coral reef is poor, as the husband put it: 2 stones and 3 crucians. But this is Hurghada, not Sharm.
The hotel has a rental office and training in wind and kite surfing, water skiing. I saw how they rode on an inflatable banana and cheesecake.
To the left of the beach there is a parking lot for boats and 5 km from the hotel is the port of Safaga. None of the guidebooks mention this! At first we were stunned by what we saw, but the sea was clean and transparent and we calmed down... in vain.
2-3 times in 2 weeks a black oil spot washed ashore!! ! This is, of course, an outrageous disgrace. We went to the Red Sea, but ended up in the Black...
Children's entertainment and animation:
For the 1st week, I thought that it was the responsibility of the animators to turn the music on / off by the pool. The rest of the time they chatted cheerfully, sitting in a bar. On the 2nd appeared stretch gymnastics in the morning and water aerobics.
After dinner, there was a half-hour disco for children. The children took part in it with pleasure. Then they showed "Tom and Jerry" on the shore. And that's it. No shows for adults. We ate and walked along the promenade. You could lie in a hookah lounge or sit in a bar.
For older children there was a mini club. We haven't been there, so I can't tell. In general, such a calm, family vacation without the fuss as in a Soviet sanatorium.
There is a playground with swings and a slide, a wooden car, a train and a plane to climb. All this is slowly destroyed from time to time (the paint peels off, nothing is repaired).
Service:

The staff is friendly, without familiarity. Waiters are quick, there are brakes. A little jarred by the shamelessness of some. They could grab unused cutlery or a clean glass in front of you without permission and take it to another table. A trifle, of course, but unpleasant.
The son caught a sore throat in the 1st week of arrival. I had to call the insurance company in Moscow. The issue was quickly resolved. On the territory of the hotel there is a doctor who speaks little Russian. They explained in English, explaining half of the terms with their hands. Gave us Egyptian medicines and watched for a few days.
Summary:
After talking with one married couple, we realized why the very positive reviews about the hotel do not match reality. They rested there 3-4 years ago 2 or 3 times and were absolutely delighted. The food was excellent, the service was top notch and the coral reef was rich. And when they arrived now, they were amazed at the changes.
The hotel has deteriorated in the last 2 years. The roofing felts were replaced by managers, roofing felts and something else. The boats destroyed the coral and polluted the sea with fuel (((
Ehav to Egypt, we tuned in to the positive. It was a very long awaited vacation. My husband escaped from work, this is my last vacation before giving birth, and when we all went to rest is unknown. As a result, the mood was spoiled. Of course, we swam in the sea, burned up, but the sediment remained...
