Were in Amwaj Oyoun hotel in March of this 2009. Two weeks before our arrival, the hotel was renamed (was the Millenium Oyoun hotel).
The hotel is new and good.

Large area and green, there are fountains with an imitation of a waterfall and rocks in the pool. Palm trees, flowers and various trees and bushes are all illuminated in the evening. Take care of the greens every day.

The hotel is not yet fully finished, finishing work is underway in the bungalows, which are further from the sea than the main building. But this is not noticeable and does not interfere with rest.
There are good bungalows, probably suites nearby, a well-groomed area with a hammock, figurines, a swing, etc.

In the main building, which in one place has 2 floors in another, there are 3 good rooms, a large bright room, a bathroom with a bathtub and a large washbasin. There is a hairdryer, shower caps and shampoo and gel. There is a free safe in the room. Everything is working.

The beach is large with wicker walls from the wind. There are a lot of places, two volleyball courts, a sandy football field.
The pontoon is unfinished, but almost, almost, about 1000 meters long. It is good to photograph the coast from it.

As for swimming in windy weather, you need to go left along the beach to the second pontoon, the first of the Grand Azur Hotel, and it is long and the guards can kick you out there. The second is short and there are not very deep waves, even in the wind and no one will forbid swimming.
Separately, I would like to note that in Nabq Bay, all the beaches of the hotels are connected by an asphalt path, along which you can ride a motorcycle or an ATV. And you can freely walk along the coast by entering the territory of neighboring hotels.

The food at the hotel is good, a good selection of tea, they gave fruits, there were always bananas, oranges, less often grapefruits, they gave something like persimmons. I liked the yoghurts, you can water with honey. Rice and potatoes cooked well. I really liked the baked eggplant.

Animation is not very weak people raised.
Table tennis until 18-00 for free then for a fee. I went to play volleyball in Grand Azur.

Another point, do not be fooled when settling in rooms with a sea view. They are all there with a little sea view. Do not overpay, except that after looking at the room, you will not like the location at all, then you can, but there are more or less the same rooms and the view from them. They ask for a room for 5 at. e. per day.

We flew on our own, bought tickets for a charter to Sharm and back from Hurghada, thanks to Elena from Olympus, Kyiv. Hotels in Egypt were reserved for us by the Saif Tours company, and this time we went to Jerusalem from them. By the way, Ibrahim, the manager of the company, organized a transfer from Sharm to Hurghada by car, as the ferry was under repair. And we saw half of Egypt in 10 hours. Just before the Suez Canal, the police checked the pictures on the camera.

As for Jerusalem. We were picked up from the hotel at 21:30. Around 1-0.2-00 we were at the Taba crossing with Israel.

We passed the border quickly without problems, just show your passport, go through customs inspection as at the airport and you are already on the promised land. At the border, you will be asked about the purpose of your trip to Israel, whether you are carrying drugs, weapons, and so on. And they will drill with their eyes, you just have to say that the holy places pull you.

The welcoming company Venus, one of the best in Israel, did not disappoint us. We were the first to be taken away in a comfortable new Volvo bus. And then I fell asleep, woke up already near the Dead Sea, where we made a stop to the toilet and have a bite to eat. We took photos at dawn and walked along the coast.
The guide met us not far from Jerusalem around 8-00. He himself is Palestinian, Christian and a native of Bethlehem. He speaks good Russian and told everything in a very interesting way. Moreover, many folk stories are not from reference books and books.

First we went to Bethlehem to the Church of the Nativity, where Jesus was born.
But before that, we were taken to a souvenir shop and offered to buy crosses, icons, etc. for consecration. And even though the prices here are more expensive than in the market, you won’t have time to buy in the market, and you won’t be able to consecrate in all churches either . Therefore, we bought a couple of inexpensive copies and consecrated them in all churches. As for the Jerusalem candles, in the Church of the Nativity they are 3 US dollars, but as the guide told us and did not deceive, they burn more and better than from the market, and this money goes to the temple. By the way, at the candle market 1. E. We all bowed to the birthplace of Jesus, and the guide told us why it is believed that this is where he was born. He showed old frescoes and told the history of the temple.

Then we visited a Catholic church and got back on the bus. Then we were waiting for lunch, the buffet, by the way, is very decent, we spent about 30 minutes for lunch. And we went to the old city in Jerusalem.

We entered the city near the Wailing Wall.
Where the dome of the golden mosque, the shrine of Muslims, rises.

We quickly visited it and headed to the old city. Having passed the Jewish and Muslim quarters, they entered the Christian quarters and went to the place where Christ fell for the third time. Then they went to the Holy Sepulcher, through the Coptic churches and bowed to the place where Jesus was buried. After that, they went to the stone of anointing and to the place of the crucifixion on Golgotha.

At each place, the guide told interesting stories and cases of miracles in our days. After that, we walked through the old city once more and got on the bus. The last stop in Jerusalem was an observation deck with a panorama of Jerusalem. Then, on the way, our guide pointed to the ancient city and the mountain of temptation, where 40 Jesus fasted in the wilderness.

Already around 16-30 we swam in the Dead Sea. Rather, they floated like corks. Since you can’t call it bathing in the full sense. The water there is very salty and feels like oil or oil to the touch. Risk of eye contact, etc.
My wounds on my arms and legs from volleyball were baked with fire.

After that shower and back to Egypt. Already around 22-00 we ended up in Egypt near the Hilton Taba, then moving to Sharm. But there was no fatigue, because the places where millions of people pray are saturated with very good energy.
I will also say about the hotel that they respond quickly enough to a request for repairs and so on. It is better to speak English at the reception.
In principle, you can relax well.
