I took a last-minute tour for May, it turned out inexpensively - 720 USD. for two 8 nights, 7 days. We arrived normally, everyone was settled in building 3, it is the farthest from the sea, we asked for 2 on the 1st floor overlooking the pool. At first they said to pay 10 USD. per night according to official the price list, I gave 70, but the guy at the reception took 30, said enough) The room is renovated, spacious, the beds are comfortable, linen and towels made of thick cotton are clean. Of the shortcomings - flimsy plumbing, dirty chairs! (they didn’t sit on them), the door in the bathroom was dented, as if a Chupacabra had escaped from there, the safe was broken) There are also private villas nearby, and they drilled there all day! All in all, at first I was upset. But after a couple of days, the drilling stopped, the door was no longer noticed, and the beauty of the territory blocked everything! It was nice to drink coffee in the morning on the terrace, like in a botanical garden.
The pools are also not new, but there is cool soft desalinated sea water with a minimum of disinfection, an interestingly thought-out composition and plants. There were many locals, the Arabs were pleasantly surprised, sometimes emotional of course, but mostly polite, calm, their kids are cute, they play with them, no one pulls or yells at them. In general, the pool had the atmosphere of a family international hostel)
Beach. The dream of an introvert) There are few people, the sunbeds are a bit old, but they have new comfortable mattresses. The sea near the shore is just above the knee, there are no fish. For fish you have to go for about 15 minutes along the pier, there is a beautiful reef. The good-natured lifeguard Mohammed is on duty, swim immediately to the right, there is a strong current to the left. If you start to take down, raise your hand and wave, he will pull you out.

Restaurant. I debunk negative reviews - plates, cutlery, tablecloths are CLEAN. Meat is really given in pieces, but we must remember that Egypt is a poor country, and meat is very expensive here. You can take several servings in different places, it will come out enough. I don't eat much, I've had enough. A lot of pastries, sweets at the height, you can swallow your tongue, a variety of vegetables, super milk, but not enough fruit! The staff is helpful, friendly.
Shopping. Feel free to go to the hotel shops opposite the reception, there are normal prices and sellers. There is a pharmacy, you can buy a new full-face snorkel mask, it is comfortable.
In general, not 5 stars, of course, but if you want to escape into the sun for an inexpensive price, then it will do) The territory, the staff and the reef cover all the shortcomings.
