Rested in this hotel with my husband and child from 12 to 20 August. The hotel was chosen carefully, we studied the reviews for a long time, and in the end we were very disappointed. positive reviews are not true.
We were settled into the room almost immediately (we immediately put $ 10 in the passport at the reception), but we had to wait 1.5 hours for an extra bed for the child (although they promised that they would bring it in 10 minutes). As a result, after the third appeal to the reception with a request to bring us a bed, they still brought it to us. Then we had to wait for another hour for a "specially trained" person to install a safe in the room for us.
Although the hotel is new, the furniture in the room is shabby, shabby, the balcony is large (we had a room on the 2nd floor), cockroaches walked on the balcony from time to time, we saw ants in the room a couple of times. The room has a good TV, there are three Russian channels (ORT, Russia and music), there is a kettle and tea / coffee / sugar bags, water is brought to the room every day (0.5 liters per person). They clean the room every day, but somehow... although we left a tip every day ($ 1), although (lo and behold! ) Once they made swans out of towels for us, bed linen was changed 2 times for 9 days of our stay. Towels are changed every day, but for some reason we brought 2 small towels for 3 people, 2 bath towels and one for feet. The bathroom is not very clean, it would do well to wash it. Although, of course, you can close your eyes to all this, in the room we only slept and washed.

As for nutrition. I don’t know what variety of food is written here in many reviews, I didn’t notice it. Rice, pasta, french fries. . . from meat only chicken, very rarely goulash from meat and potatoes, sometimes fish. . . and some incomprehensible salads for dinner from what they didn’t eat at lunch. . . Only green fruits bananas and half-rotten oranges, once there was a melon, but not everyone got it. A lot of people were poisoned, my stomach was also not happy with the local food, the last few days I was generally afraid to eat anything other than rice, so as not to get an upset stomach again... Although the pastries and sweets were very good.
The service staff in the main restaurant is no... tables with dirty dishes can stand for 10-15-20 minutes (we specifically noted), and no one considers it necessary to clean them. The waiters "walk past" and pretend not to notice. Or there are just empty tables, without napkins, cutlery, etc. They start moving only after you start yelling at them. Somehow we came for breakfast, but there are no free tables... or rather, they are, but with uncleaned dishes. We asked the waiter to clear the table. He says: "Ok, no problem, go get yourself some food, I'll do everything now. " We are coming. Dirty dishes from the table, of course, were removed, but they did not consider it necessary to wipe it and put the cutlery down. We call the waiter again. He again says that he will do everything, leaves, and defiantly begins to set the tables next to us, but "does not notice" us. After the third request, our nerves could no longer stand it and we had to shout at him, and only then did he bring us the instruments. The mood was spoiled from the very morning. And such situations were repeated regularly. Also very often there were no clean cups in the restaurant. If you want to drink tea or coffee - sit and wait 20 minutes when they are able to wash them. In general, the main restaurant looks more like a canteen...
The sea... there was no sea... from the shore somewhere a kilometer of shallow water, God forbid, if knee-deep, and then not always... and you can’t even enter this shallow water barefoot, only in special shoes or in shales, to swim only from the pontoon, but you still need to get to it, and then along it... we went a couple of times, and then it was already lazy to walk under the scorching sun. There is nothing for a small child to do in the sea.
The pool seems to be good, but at the bottom there was always some kind of dirt. It was really possible to find free sunbeds until 9 am, so I had to get up early to take a seat. On the beach, the sunbeds are 90 percent free.

Separately, I would like to note the animators - the guys are just great! They try very hard, they are in sight all day long, they are nice, kind, sociable, they have club dances in the morning and evening by the pool, and aqua aerobics, water polo, beach volleyball and football, morning exercises on the beach, yoga and belly dancing lessons in the evening, etc. . d. etc.
In general, the hotel does not pull on 5 stars, the service leaves much to be desired. This is not the first time in Egypt, there is something to compare with. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for families with children. Of course, you can turn a blind eye to the shortcomings, but we do not go on vacation to constantly strain ourselves.
By the way, we talked with many Russians, at first they tried to settle them all in some kind of half-finished bungalow, similar to a construction change house. Do not agree for anything, otherwise you will have to swear long and hard at the reception so that you can be settled in a normal room.
If someone goes to this hotel, I advise you to go to the beach in the evening to the Bedouins in a tent. You can sit, relax, smoke a hookah, drink tea. Excellent Bedouin guys work there - "Sasha" and "Sasha from Uralmash". Ask them to turn on a CD with Russian music for you. Cheerful guys - they perfectly sing our Russian songs, they can sing "White Roses" especially sincerely, and at the same time they will dance. Great dance to the song "Malinki"!! ! ; -) ; -) ; -)
I wish you all a good rest and more positive emotions.
