My wife and I chose this hotel because of the excellent value for money. We flew from Kyiv to Sharm for 7 days. Last year, the New Year was wonderfully celebrated here, and this year it was excellent - Christmas according to the European calendar. And in Amvazh there is a wonderful pontoon and an incredibly picturesque reef. Moreover, shorter than in the neighboring (more expensive) hotel. A mask for $15 (bought from a shop on the beach of the hotel) allows you to dive into the abyss of an unforgettable sea world. The impression is this: you fly over a coral wall, which is home to dozens of colorful fish. It was windy for only two days and we didn't swim. Saved the heated pool and a bar next to yes on the beach.
Settlement, as in the past year, began with trouble. At first we were offered a room with a faulty faucet and TV remote without batteries. Then an offer was made - for an additional fee - to move to a building located closer to the sea. We refused to pay. They insisted that they give a better room in the same building. And we got a more spacious room on the second floor overlooking the pool (and not the fence and the neighboring hotel). Everything worked in the new room. It was clean. There was a free safe. Among the general shortcomings of the hotel is the door to the next room. There were problems with soundproofing: once at night they heard the cry of a baby. Then the family with the child moved out. The new neighbors were noisy at night.
Sometimes the staff was too lazy to clean the room. Reminded. And the tip partially helped to settle the issue. Swans appeared on the bed. But there was dust on the floor.

The food was more varied than last year. Wonderful grill, vegetables, meat and fish dishes, fruits. Lots of desserts. Alcohol is typically Egyptian. Weak beer can be sipped all day long. Stronger drinks (whiskey, rum) have a more tangible effect. But they are half (if not 3 times) weaker than the original. In general, tolerably. However, if you purchase everything you need in advance in Duty free, the issue is closed.
Among the vacationers, we recognized Italians, Germans (or Austrians), Poles, Lithuanians, Estonians, Hungarians, Croats (or Serbs), Czechs, Kazakhs, Tajiks, Sudanese, Ukrainians, Russians and Belarusians, residents of former French colonies. None of them prevailed. Everyone rested calmly and with mutual respect.
The small market across the road is an opportunity to purchase mangoes. In one of the shops for $ 4 they bought 4 pieces home. Excellent quality!
We celebrated Christmas in a wonderful atmosphere. Live music - a local musician played the nai well. Amazing serving of food. Various delicacies, cocktails. Everything was more modest when compared to last year's New Year's Eve dinner, but wonderful. Great atmosphere. An elderly couple from Kyiv told us that they did not pay for Christmas dinner. But after the story about the holiday, they admitted that they envy us in a white way.
We knew that the hotel had problems with Wi-Fi. Therefore, they paid extra to their mobile operator for minutes and gigabytes abroad. Take advantage of the special offer.
