Hotel ratings by criteria:
We went to Egypt as a family (me, my husband and a child of 4 years old) spontaneously, we were not very puzzled by the choice of the hotel, we took the one that was offered on the tour. agency with the resources available to us. We rested from July 29 to August 12. To the attention of the readers, I am not a too picky person in life and quite positive, and my mood for rest was positive. Previously vacationed in Thailand, Sri Lanka and family in Turkey. Our vacation coincided with the Ramadan holiday, that is, there were enough Arabs in the hotel, however, this did not interfere with rest, except for the young guys who arrived closer to our departure with their music, which played day and night from their balcony on the second floor almost above our room, and at night they still arranged Sabantuy under the balconies on the pool, the hotel administration reacted to this by sending a security guard who just sat by the pool. However, in order, I will justify all my assessments. The sea, corals and living creatures, as well as the sun: 5. The most beautiful (deep, blue) sea that I have seen and the living creatures in it are mesmerizing, just amazing. Even at the dead coral reef in the area fenced by the hotel for swimming, there are a lot of beautiful fish. And if you take a catamaran, masks and sail straight 20 meters from the buoys and 100 meters to the left, closer to the blue-black pontoon, you will find the most beautiful coral reef. . . The sun is very active, you need to take creams with great protection, at first the heat presses very hard (it was from 38 to 45 degrees), but after three days you adapt and it's already good. Beach: 3. The entrance to the sea is gentle, sandy, with the exception of a small number of pebbles near the surf. There were always sunbeds with mattresses. Next to the trash cans. But still, the beach is dirty (bags, plastic utensils... ), although I saw a couple of times that the hotel workers clean it, apparently not enough, a lot of garbage is brought by the sea. Small boats and motor boats, etc. , are parked along the pontoon, which is why from the sea you feel not the sea breeze, but the smell of a solarium, almost constantly, as well as a film on the sea, apparently from the same solarium. But when you realize that this summer you will no longer have a chance to relax, then you stop paying attention to it. . . It seems that the Arabs themselves, including those working on this pier, pollute their sea with solarium and bottles and cleaning products, with which they wash their catamarans right on the beach. . . Territory of the hotel: 4. Small, cozy, beautiful pavilions near the pool, a lot of ashtrays, just a paradise for smokers. Little greenery, but apparently this is the norm for Egypt. Large debris and the middle of the paths are swept, but still somehow dirty. Could at least occasionally wash it normally. The pool is ordinary with different depths (from 65 to 195 cm), it was cleaned every evening. Accommodation: 3. The room is adequate in size. Furniture and fixtures are decent, almost new. Was recently renovated. The air conditioner worked well. But the quality of the repair leaves much to be desired (in Russia, our hands would be torn off for such a repair). The shower does not have enough pressure and does not work if the water in the sink is turned on. The air conditioner was repaired, it dripped once. The toilet was repaired 3 times, it was regularly clogged. At what, you go to the reception with a problem, the administrator politely says that of course, of course, we will fix it now, zero actions, you go again, he again politely does not refuse, zero actions, until they turned to the guest manager Inna, everything was fixed right away. The same story was with the provision of a safe, they waited for three days to be released at the reception, then they gave us a safe in the room, they waited another day for the key to be given to it. Again, everything was resolved after Inna's connection. But you must admit, we are going on vacation, including to take a break from these everyday situations and troubles. . . Location: 3. I gave this rating only because of the night noise. If we were without a child, maybe it wouldn't matter. The hotel is located on the first line, it's super, close to the sea. The hotel is also located on Naama Bay, which begins to live in the evening and until the morning, a lot of cafes, hookahs and discos, loud music everywhere, noise comes from the street. But the worst thing is that right on the territory of the hotel, apparently this is a former hotel bar, there is a Karaoke bar, in which music plays very loudly from 10 pm to 7 am, and all the vacationers who are at the hotel at night are forced to "enjoy ". We got used to it for four days, physics took its toll, I want to sleep. In the morning, when you go to the Rezort for breakfast, you go out to Naama Bay and get the impression that you are walking through the garbage dump, dirt and stench. Meals: 3. In principle, you won't stay hungry. We didn’t eat salads, some of them seemed specific to us with sourness. In general, there was a constant feeling that the food was not fresh. Periodically, I felt the taste of mold in food, although I didn’t see it, my stomach is good. Yupi-like juices are godlessly diluted. Wine, also strange, as if without alcohol. I liked the dates, big, soft and juicy. Eggplants are also delicious. Sweets were delicious on the day of Arabic cuisine. I can't say anything else. Thanks to the hotel for the surprise cake for my son on his birthday, it was nice. Yes, in my opinion there was a lot of different meat, but we don’t eat meat. At the expense of fish, I took it several times, but it was not tasty. I was surprised by the poor assortment of fruits: half-rotten bananas, terrible oranges, green melons, watermelons were only more or less decent (in general, we have about the same on the shelves in Siberia). Often come across dirty plates and glasses, tea mugs are all upholstered. Service, staff and maintenance: 3. At the reception, the staff, as I said, do not seem to refuse anything, but at the same time they are not particularly puzzled by "your" difficulties. By the way, we were given two sets of towels instead of three, but we were never able to get a third from a nickname, in this case even Inna did not help, they turned a blind eye to this, well, it’s not possible to go around endlessly solving these little things. Cleaners, in general, are a separate story, towels are changed every other time, they sweep the middle of the room, there is century-old dust near the walls, in the corners, behind the curtains, relatively new furniture has no appearance, t. all covered in dust and greasy stains, a cockroach was lying behind the toilet, apparently still lying there, beach towels were changed twice on demand, bed linen was not changed even once, they asked several times to clean the toilet, all to no avail. He also begged for a dollar, it would be for that, they would give it. In the restaurant, the waiters and the managers of the hall are so tactless that with their negotiations, I would say, with rehors, they drown out the rumble of talking eating people. Inattentive, you say put three devices, put two. There are two empty plates, one is removed, the other is not. I generally fell out of love with the bartender at the beach bar, I sit in the bar facing the food containers, chewing french fries, the bartender comes out, looked through these containers, corrected something, then stood facing the audience, including me, opened his fly, unbuttoned (I stopped chewing from surprise), lowered my trousers, straightened my shirt, then refueled and retired to my own place, looked at the hall and the people sitting in it as if it were an empty place. And in general, the staff (Inna does not count) left the impression that we are an empty place for them, people pointedly say "this is Egypt...." Conclusions and general impression: I'm unlikely to come back here, I will highlight two main reasons (you can put up with the rest): very noisy in the hotel and the smell of a solarium on the beach. I certainly do not recommend families with children to go to this hotel, but I can recommend this a hotel for young people who travel at night. Otherwise, we still had a good rest, thanks to our mood for a good rest and the stunningly beautiful Red Sea.
