This is not my first trip to Egypt, there is something to compare with. But... the first trip was 5 years ago, and I want to draw the attention of tourists to the fact that you no longer have to rely on the same level of service that you received before (even a year or two ago).
Specifically for this hotel. From various sources we were told that from the airport to the hotel from 7 to 15 km. What was our surprise when, having unloaded from the bus, and considering the landscape, we saw planes taking off right in front of the entrance to the reception hall. Young people get used to the noise of aircraft quickly. On the 2nd or 3rd day, we no longer paid attention to them, but for people of middle and older age, I would advise you to choose a hotel far away... They settled us quickly enough, but on the second day, the tourists who arrived waited for the settlement for almost the whole day (so here - as it will lead ). The rooms are a bit tired but neat and clean. Please note that in some rooms, not quite serviceable air conditioners are thrown into the room (to put it mildly) not a very pleasant smell. Before checking in, close the window and turn on the air conditioner at full power. If there is a smell, you will feel it after 5 minutes. In addition, be careful in the bathroom - through the hood, all kinds of living creatures periodically creep in and fly in.
The menu in the restaurant on the first day seems varied, but, unfortunately, it does not change either every other day or every other week. They can add one or two dishes, a queue is immediately organized behind them. while the restaurant is clearly not designed for the number of guests that the hotel accepts. Within 10 minutes after opening, you will not find a free place, and when you find it, you yourself will have to look for your own devices, because. the staff either doesn’t want to, or doesn’t have time - we still haven’t figured it out. Although, it should be noted that if you make a request, they will try to help you.

The pool and slides are good, the animators work according to the standard scheme: aerobics - water polo. If you just want to lie down, no one pulls by the hand. Everything is quite tactful. At the same time, if you want to get to the sea in the afternoon, I recommend to go with your own towels, because. you can’t get them by the sea - the laundry can’t cope. The sea is incredible! Already near the pontoons there are many corals and fish. But, in order to diversify the picture, we gained the audacity and swam along the coast in the territory of other hotels. Nobody stopped us, which is great, because. we are great lovers of swimming for a long time and with interest.
Evening animation is not bad, but also quite monotonous. For a change, I recommend going to Concord Front. By the way, you can visit the bar in the Front (although for some reason the bartenders and waiters are not very friendly to guests from Sport, but there is an advantage there - free Wi-Fi).
For people who prefer quality alcohol - local, I hasten to inform you that on SOHO Square, which is located to the right of the hotels, if you stand facing the sea, on the second floor of one of the buildings near the singing fountain there is a duty-free shop where you can buy everything necessary for a comfortable stay, but. . . only with a passport and only within a day after arrival.
In general, if you are not picky and not scandalous, then the hotel will suit you. If you are used to a high level of service, then look for another hotel, although, as far as I can tell from the conversations of tourists, this is the situation in most hotels in Egypt now. The sea is unique, so try not to bother too much with the service, but just swim.
