The choice for us was largely due to the position of the hotel - it is hidden behind the ledge of the bay (on the ledge of Sheraton and Continental Plaza). And since they were going to go in November, when the winds can begin (especially in Nabq), this promised a softening of the wind. And indeed, the wind was sometimes felt on the skin, sometimes the sea rippled, but the flag was only green and it was a pleasure to swim.
A separate tale is a reef. Its length, indented line, variety of colors and species of corals and fish brought great pleasure. In this regard, we even abandoned the idea of ​ ​ going to Ras Mohammed or Tiran. We saw a stingray, a manta, periodically swam meter-long barracudas, large Napoleons, etc. , etc. The distance from the pontoon to the "foreign" beaches with a mask and flippers swam imperceptibly. If you look at the sea, then on the right is the territory of the Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh hotel, where they regularly swam to the beach (the area is fenced with buoys) and beyond it towards the sea.

Approximately in the middle of the section between our pontoons and Continental Plaza, boats bringing scuba divers constantly stop. But swimming between them and the reef is problem-free, noise and dirt are not distracting.
The beach is called multi-level. Indeed, there are many areas at different levels overlooking the sea and a large long area with umbrellas and sun loungers, turning into a bare one - this is already a public beach, as the sign says. It’s not clear where the audience can come from))) Near the beach there is a large sports ground: volleyball and animation do not intersect, a corner for children is fenced off.
There are several entrances to the water from the beach: the main pontoon is not very long (up to about 30 m); so-called. a flooded pontoon, the passage through which is closed and several sandy entrances to the water with sandy "lakes" up to a meter deep - convenient for small children.
On the beach there is a water entertainment center - they ride on a banana, a sofa, a parachute and just in a boat; there is diving from a pontoon or from a boat further out to sea.
Beach towels were brought to 7 o'clock in the morning, pick up until 17. There were always free sun loungers - but not in the shade. Approximately half of the most convenient classes are in the period from 7 to 8.

The territory is picturesque, greenery is not overgrown but quite enough. Since on the high bank - the houses are located in terraces, there are many pretty ladders. You can easily not be overwhelmed by lifts - there are always 4 large elevators with a transparent wall towards the sea. The staff travels separately. These elevators lift from the level of the lower pool to level 5. The reception is located on level 6, this building has a couple of its own elevators.
Everything is kept clean, watering in the evening and at night, bushes are fumigated every day. Apparently it helps - his fumigator came in handy from mosquitoes only 1 time, though the veranda was not left open at night.

At the settlement, I left $ 10 for two and asked for a room with a 1st bed. Dali in the 5th building with a beautiful view of the upper pool. The "sea view" rooms are located in buildings 1-4, they cost $ 20 per day for a room more (you can pay extra at the reception), but I would not say that it is better there. But the 6th corps - further and worse.
Walking along the coastal palm alley, it is easy to quietly enter the territory of the neighbors - Continental Plaza Beach Resort. So not a noticeable transition that the territory seems to be common. There is a water park, but we did not get to it.
They cleaned well, dust and debris disappeared, daily the cleaner brought a bottle of water per person. Having caught us, he came when we say. I left him a dollar each - he was happy.
There was a safe in the room - I left money - there were no problems. Several times gold rings were forgotten in the room - nothing was missing.
The food is quite decent. Two restaurants Oliva (near the reception) and Laguna (near the main entrance) feed on the oll.
Each has verandas (closed) overlooking the sea/pool. In Laguna I liked to dine at the tables in the open air. Nothing flew and did not bite))) Well, several A la cart restaurants and paid ones. There were enough bars by the pools and the sea.
There are many Russian speakers, Italians, and there are Arabs with families. Worst of all, as for me - the Italians - noisy and garbage after them in bulk. Arab women are wrapped up, rarely swim, often waiting for their family from swimming, dangling their legs in the water on the edge of the pontoon.
Animation standardly worked at the upper pool from 21 to 23, after 23 you can only hear the music from the bars weakly. Target shows are periodically held - there were “oriental night”, “fire show” and something else.
The hotel is located on the same branch from the airport-Naama highway as Continental Plaza Beach Resort, Sharm Plaza, Reef Oasis Blue Bay Resort, Sheraton Sharm. A taxi from the hotel right at the entrance to Naama costs $10 (per car), and the hotel itself runs several busik flights with a price of $6 per person.

Of course, a taxi is more convenient and cheaper, especially if you cooperate. But there is an even better option. From the hotel to the branch mentioned above, through 2 barriers, a very picturesque and well-groomed road leads - up to 10 minutes of a leisurely beautiful walk. The second, external barrier is notable for the fact that tour agencies that are not associated with the hotel by large tour operators make an appointment near it (they are usually not allowed further).
From about this point, a car to Naama costs $ 5, and to Old Market $ 10. It can catch up with a taxi that brought a client to your hotel (they are allowed to call in) or returning along a branch line from other hotels.
It’s about the same back: a taxi in Naama at the parking lot (or through the “distributing one”) to the hotel costs $ 10, they rarely give up to $ 8, but it’s worth going down to the road and walking 10 meters along it - feel free to slow down any free taxi for $ 5 ( or $ 10 from Old Market) - checked more than once)))
