This was my second visit to Egypt, my husband's was the sixth, so I think there is something to compare with... We arrived at three in the morning. We were the very first of the entire bus brought to the hotel (the journey took 5-7 minutes). The entrance group of the hotel is very beautiful. There is a small open-air patio with tables and benches... beauty, in general! The first impression was spoiled by the inability to check in immediately, we sat in the lobby until 10 am! And that's because my husband came to the reception every half an hour and asked: "When will you check in? " And they would have settled at 14.00. In general, they showed us our room (building 5). Pool view, first floor. Room size is small compared to last year's hotel (see previous review). Air conditioning, safe, TV, mini-bar (filled once upon arrival free of charge according to the Royal AL program). The furniture is not very new but ok, allow for the age of the hotel. At least everything works well. . . although the bathroom could be nicer! Cleaned well every day, without comment. Four times they left a dollar for the maid, made cool figurines out of towels (see pictures). The hotel area is very beautiful, in the evening it's like a fairy tale! Many palms, trees, shrubs with flowers. Two pools: upper - large, lower - small. The hotel itself is located, so to speak, on 5 floors. To go down or up there are stairs and elevators - convenient, in short. The beach has three levels. There are free sunbeds, but there were sometimes problems with umbrellas, also by the pools. In bars, as always, drinks, alcohol, tea, coffee, water, pizza, sometimes buns. I have no complaints about food. The choice, of course, is not very large, but everything is fried, boiled and no one got poisoned and did not sit in the toilet. There were problems with fruits, but they say that this is due to the interruption of supplies from Cairo (they do not grow anything in Sharm). Every day they gave ice cream, melons, once there was a watermelon, some kind of green oranges (such a kind), guava. Baking, as usual, on top! Vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, various salads. We didn't go hungry! Animation. . . it's hard to say anything. . . it's practically non-existent, we once went to the Dance-show, we weren't impressed at all and we didn't go again. . . ahh, I forgot about the night disco in the pool. They invited only Russians and Ukrainians there, because not a single sane foreigner would bathe in bleach, and we are familiar (after all, they did not turn off the treatment system at this time !!! ). And, of course, the sea. . . there are only emotions!! ! Very beautiful. . . the reef is one of the most beautiful in Sharm. Fish are different, current, infection, biting! Several times small striped ones bit us. . . We saw a stingray, a manta, a Napoleon fish (huge size!!! ) and many more! It's just a must see, it's hard to describe in words!
Of course, we were very pleased with the rest. The beauty of the hotel covers all its minor flaws, but we will not go there again.
P. S. There are practically no foreigners in the hotel. Some Russians and crests (the ratio is about 30% to 70%). Be ready! But there were no drunken incidents.
