It was our first tour abroad, and, accordingly, to Egypt. We took the choice of the country, resort, hotel and tour operator very seriously, because we could afford such a vacation only by putting aside savings for many years (many will understand me), and in order to enjoy the splendor of the long-awaited vacation, we did not exchange money for second-level hotels - we wanted to arrange a small but chic unforgettable holiday for body and soul! Information was collected from everywhere: they listened to the advice of friends who had already vacationed in Egypt, took into account reviews on the Internet, visited many travel agencies, comparing offers, conditions and prices - finally, they came to the best option - Teztour, Sharm el Sheikh, Continental Garden Hotel . . , 10 days (from 10.04 to 19.04) in a room with a sea view, full board - TALE!!!

We didn’t sleep for a day before departure - for the first time - excitement, emotions overwhelmed! At the airport (if it were not for the information collected earlier, they would not have known what-where-how much), the representative of the teztour handed us vouchers, silently pointing to the check-in window; he directed everyone else to us. . .
We flew on a Boeing 737 of AEROSVIT airlines, like a herring in a jar (with our height in the sixth row, we could lay our legs on the shoulders of the person in front), fortunately, we arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh without incident and on time and went through customs without any problems and found our bus. Teztour's transfers must be given their due - they were organized, quickly and comfortably delivered to the hotel! And then it began. . .
There were 10 of us (two couples of young people and two families with teenage children) None of us, respectively, saw welcome cocktails, with which the Germans were greeted almost from the doorstep... In order not to test our nerves, we initially put them in passport $ 20, although the room was already booked in advance with a sea view, so after 1 hour we were the first to be settled: the second line, the second floor under the fence of a neighboring hotel with one double bed, a folding bed-violinist on wheels for a teenager with a leg of 41 sizes was placed already in the evening, at the same time they filled the bar. The furniture is old, the hair dryer in the bathroom did not work for more than a minute (fortunately, I took my own), clean towels with traces of someone else's cosmetics. They cleaned the room during the day, when they liked, not always with wet cleaning, without changing bed linen and without replenishing gels and shampoos, but they took the dollar regularly.
Towels on the beach and pools were also not very fresh and clean, sometimes they reeked of mold. The best sunbeds at 6 in the morning were already occupied, as it turned out later, the workers themselves, who gave out towels, threw them on the best places, and then kindly provided them to you for a dollar - something like a reserve for their people...
The animation is very weak!

Food is a separate issue! Two restaurants: Main and smaller Laguna. We preferred the second one, it is more or less calmer there, without hype. We tried to come in the first half hour, then it was possible to choose something tastier and a better place, according to the principle: whoever got up earlier got the slippers. In a word, at first glance, a ten-meter buffet with a variety of dishes, beautifully decorated, but if you try, you won’t want to anymore, so it turns out that from what is more or less edible, the same type of daily menu is compiled... From fruits: oranges, melons, greens bananas and dates. Freshly squeezed juices were made several times by ourselves from cut grapefruits. In the main restaurant, I watched a juicer several times with a frantic queue for it. From vegetables and salads, most preferred cucumbers and tomatoes, which were also not always available. Meat, fish - for an amateur. But in Los Amigos (a restaurant ala carte of Mexican cuisine) they served a rather tasty dinner from the same products, which cannot be said about the Oriental restaurant, where our five-course dinner lasted 2.5 hours (my husband began to laugh hysterically), it seems that that they just mocked us! Yes, the dishes in restaurants were also not very clean: you could get a plate with the remnants of yesterday's food or a glass with imprints of someone else's lipstick. . .
It should be noted that the attitude of service personnel to the Russian-speaking contingent is noticeably biased (as well as in the city of Naama Bay itself)! It seems that we are resting there for thanks, and do not pay the same currency as the rest of the Europeans, who, in my opinion, are not distinguished by Russian generosity! By the way, I was also outraged by the fact that the hotel imposes all cruzer (all inclusive) on Russian-speaking tourists, while many Germans, Italians do not come on full board and have a great dinner on the difference in money either in a la carte restaurants, and preferably, many leave dine in the city, where a variety of seafood, fruits and exotic cocktails made from freshly squeezed fruits...
Against the background of all this, especially those who are going to visit this country for the first time, stock up on more medicines, in particular, anti-allergens. I am not allergic, and nothing like this has ever happened to me. During the first three days of my stay at the hotel, my arms and legs were covered with a bluish, scab-like, terribly itchy rash that spread over my body - I had never seen anything like it in my life... Only thanks to the teztour guide at the hotel, they provided me with medical care for insurance: they made an intravenous injection , prescribed a talker, ointments and anti-allergens and no sun - three days were crossed out from the vacation, blue spots remained. The reason was never found out: the sun, the beach, mosquitoes, or the result of scuba diving (on the first day) - is not known...
Yes, don’t spend all your money, otherwise, when you hand over the keys on the day of departure, you may be “pleasantly” surprised by the bill you owe... But in general, if you are a big optimist, and you don’t give a damn about what and how much you pay your hard-earned , then you can visit this hotel, if only for the sake of a good location on the Red Sea coast.
